Take upon me

1. Gen. 18: 27, 31
     27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but ^adust and ashes:

     31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake.
2. Job 30: 16
     16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
3. Ps. 40: 12
     12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart ^afaileth me.
4. Ps. 119: 53
     53 ^aHorror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
5. Isa. 21: 3
     3 Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was ^adismayed at the seeing of it.
