Go over

  1.   45 And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife aAsenath the daughter of Potipherah bpriest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
  2.   14 And the alocusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested bin all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
  3.   7 And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord hath given them?
  4.   13 Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
  5.   25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and aLebanon.
          •  •  •
27 Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
28 But acharge Joshua, and encourage him, and bstrengthen him: for he shall cgo over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.
  6.   14 ¶ And the Lord commanded me at that time to ateach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
          •  •  •
21 Furthermore the Lord was aangry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance:
22 But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall go over, and possess that good land.
          •  •  •
26 I call aheaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over bJordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall cutterly be destroyed.
  7.   3 Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over abefore thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bbring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.
  8.   10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the Lord your God giveth you to ainherit, and when he giveth you brest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
  9.   20 When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
  10.   4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
  11.   13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
  12.   2 And he said unto them, I am an ahundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the Lord hath said unto me, Thou shalt not bgo over this Jordan.
3 The Lord thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt apossess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath said.
          •  •  •
13 And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and alearn to fear the Lord your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
  13.   47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall aprolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
  14.   4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I asware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
  15.   2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the aland which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
  16.   23 For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he adried up from before us, until we were gone over:
  17.   13 And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of aLuz, which is Beth-el, southward; and the border descended to Ataroth-adar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the bnether Beth-horon.
  18.   11 And ye went over Jordan, and came unto aJericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.
  19.   33 ¶ Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel.
  20.   26 And Gaal the son of Ebed came with his brethren, and went over to Shechem: and the men of Shechem put their confidence in him.
  21.   5 And the Gileadites took the passages of Jordan before the Ephraimites: and it was so, that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gilead said unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he said, Nay;
  22.   7 And some of the aHebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
  23.   1 Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father.
          •  •  •
4 ¶ And between the apassages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines’ garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one side, and a sharp rock on the other side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh.
          •  •  •
6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the Lord will work for us: for there is no arestraint to the Lord to save by many or by bfew.
  24.   13 ¶ Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them:
  25.   10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.
  26.   15 Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.
  27.   9 ¶ Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this adead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.
  28.   20 And when Absalom’s servants came to the woman to the house, they said, Where is Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of water. And when they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.
          •  •  •
22 Then David arose, and all the people that were with him, and they passed over Jordan: by the morning light there lacked not one of them that was not gone over Jordan.
  29.   17 And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king.
      18 And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;
          •  •  •
31 ¶ And aBarzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan.
          •  •  •
37 Let thy servant, I pray thee, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, and be buried by the grave of my father and of my mother. But behold thy servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good unto thee.
38 And the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee: and whatsoever thou shalt require of me, that will I do for thee.
39 And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place.
  30.   8 And Elijah took his amantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the bwaters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
9 ¶ And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a adouble portion of thy spirit be upon me.
          •  •  •
14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they aparted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
  31.   21 So Joram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him: and he rose by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots: and the people fled into their tents.
  32.   15 These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
  33.   30 With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
  34.   38 And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
  35.   4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
  36.   7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
  37.   16 Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.
  38.   4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
  39.   7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon athem the bwaters of the river, strong and many, even the king of cAssyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
8 And he shall apass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the bneck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O cImmanuel.
  40.   29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
  41.   15 And the Lord shall utterly adestroy the tongue of the bEgyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
  42.   8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto aJazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
  43.   23 But I will put it into the ahand of them that bafflict thee; which have said to thy soul, cBow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
  44.   9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the awaters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
  45.   39 And the measuring aline shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
  46.   10 Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king’s adaughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites.
  47.   32 O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy aplants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.
  48.   9 ¶ But when the people of the land shall come before the Lord in the solemn afeasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.
  49.   6 Therefore anight shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not bdivine; and the csun shall go down over the dprophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
  50.   3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that astealeth shall be bcut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

  51.   23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
  52.   34 ¶ And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
  53.   22 ¶ Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
  54.   1 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
          •  •  •
17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
  55.   23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
  56.   2 And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,
  57.   23 But aI will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; who have said to thy soul: Bow down, that we may go over—and thou hast laid thy body as the ground and as the street to them that went over.
  58.   7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of aAssyria and all his glory; and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks.
8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall areach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
  59.   29 They are gone over the apassage; they have taken up their lodging at bGeba; Ramath is afraid; cGibeah of Saul is fled.
  60.   15 And the Lord shall utterly adestroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind he shall shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over bdry shod.
  61.   7 And now it came to pass that when Alma had made these regulations he departed from them, yea, from the church which was in the city of Zarahemla, and went over upon the east of the ariver Sidon, into the bvalley of Gideon, there having been a city built, which was called the city of Gideon, which was in the valley that was called Gideon, being called after the man who was cslain by the hand of Nehor with the sword.
  62.   2 But they took their armies and went over into the borders of the land of Zarahemla, and fell upon the people who were in the land of Ammonihah and adestroyed them.
  63.   19 Now this man went over to the land of aJershon also, to preach these things among the people of Ammon, who were once the people of the Lamanites.
  64.   3 And this is not all, my son. Thou didst do that which was grievous unto me; for thou didst forsake the ministry, and did go over into the land of Siron among the borders of the Lamanites, after the aharlot Isabel.
  65.   17 And it came to pass that they did apreach with great bpower, insomuch that they did confound many of those cdissenters who had gone over from the Nephites, insomuch that they came forth and did confess their sins and were baptized unto repentance, and immediately returned to the Nephites to endeavor to repair unto them the wrongs which they had done.
  66.   24 And it came to pass that in the eightieth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi, there were a certain number of the dissenters from the people of Nephi, who had some years before gone over unto the Lamanites, and taken upon themselves the name of Lamanites, and also a certain number who were real descendants of the Lamanites, being stirred up to anger by them, or by those dissenters, therefore they commenced a awar with their brethren.
  67.   9 For this, the awaters of Noah unto me, for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee.
  68.   4 And when Corihor was thirty and two years old he rebelled against his father, and went over and dwelt in the land of Nehor; and he begat sons and daughters, and they became exceedingly fair; wherefore Corihor drew away many people after him.
  69.   4 And next spring let them depart to go over the great waters, and there promulgate my gospel, the fulness thereof, and bear record of my name.
  70.
