"Being dead"

1. Rom. 7: 6
     6 But now we are ^adelivered from the law, that being ^bdead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of ^cspirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
2. Col. 2: 13
     13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he ^aquickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
3. Heb. 11: 4
     4 By faith ^aAbel offered unto God a more excellent ^bsacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
4. 1 Pet. 2: 24
     24 Who his own self ^abare our ^bsins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose ^cstripes ye were healed.
5. Alma 5: 42
     42 And whosoever doeth this must receive his ^awages of him; therefore, for his ^bwages he receiveth ^cdeath, as to things pertaining unto righteousness, being dead unto all good works.
