"Innocent blood"

  1.   10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt aput away the bguilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
  2.   8 aBe merciful, O Lord, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast bredeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
9 So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.
  3.   5 For he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, and the Lord wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?
  4.   31 And the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and fall upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away the ainnocent blood, which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.
  5.   16 Moreover Manasseh ashed innocent bblood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.
  6.   4 And also for the innocent blood that he ashed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.
  7.   21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
  8.   38 And shed innocent ablood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the bidols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
  9.   17 A aproud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
  10.   7 Their feet arun to bevil, and they make chaste to dshed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
  11.   6 If ye oppress not the astranger, the bfatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:
  12.   3 Thus saith the Lord; Execute ye ajudgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the bstranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent cblood in this place.
          •  •  •
17 But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
  13.   15 But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring ainnocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the Lord hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
  14.   19 aEgypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
  15.   14 Wherefore they cried unto the Lord, and said, We beseech thee, O Lord, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O Lord, hast done as it pleased thee.
  16.   4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have abetrayed the innocent bblood. And they said, What is that to us? csee thou to that.
  17.   10 Yea, and I will asuffer even until death, and I will not recall my words, and they shall stand as a btestimony against you. And if ye slay me ye will shed cinnocent blood, and this shall also stand as a testimony against you at the last day.
  18.   19 Now when Ammon had said these words unto him, he answered him, saying: I know that if I should slay my son, that I should shed innocent blood; for it is thou that hast sought to destroy him.
  19.   5 Know ye not, my son, that these things are an abomination in the sight of the Lord; yea, most aabominable above all sins save it be the shedding of innocent bblood or denying the Holy Ghost?
  20.   19 And again, verily I say unto you, if a man amarry a wife by my word, which is my law, and by the new and beverlasting covenant, and it is csealed unto them by the Holy Spirit of dpromise, by him who is anointed, unto whom I have appointed this power and the ekeys of this priesthood; and it shall be said unto them—Ye shall come forth in the first resurrection; and if it be after the first resurrection, in the next resurrection; and shall inherit fthrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights and depths—then shall it be written in the Lamb’s gBook of Life, that he shall commit no hmurder whereby to shed innocent iblood, and if ye abide in my covenant, and commit no murder whereby to shed innocent blood, it shall be done unto them in all things whatsoever my servant hath put upon them, in time, and through all eternity; and shall be of full force when they are out of the world; and they shall pass by the angels, and the gods, which are set there, to their jexaltation and glory in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall be a fulness and a continuation of the kseeds forever and ever.
          •  •  •
26 Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man marry a wife according to my word, and they are sealed by the aHoly Spirit of promise, according to mine appointment, and he or she shall commit any sin or transgression of the new and everlasting covenant whatever, and all manner of blasphemies, and if they bcommit no murder wherein they shed innocent blood, yet they shall come forth in the first resurrection, and enter into their exaltation; but they shall be destroyed in the flesh, and shall be cdelivered unto the buffetings of dSatan unto the day of eredemption, saith the Lord God.
27 The ablasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which shall bnot be cforgiven in the world nor out of the world, is in that ye commit dmurder wherein ye shed innocent blood, and assent unto my death, after ye have received my new and everlasting covenant, saith the Lord God; and he that abideth not this law can in nowise enter into my glory, but shall be edamned, saith the Lord.
  21.   7 They were innocent of any crime, as they had often been proved before, and were only confined in jail by the conspiracy of traitors and wicked men; and their innocent blood on the floor of Carthage jail is a broad seal affixed to “Mormonism” that cannot be rejected by any court on earth, and their innocent blood on the escutcheon of the State of Illinois, with the broken faith of the State as pledged by the governor, is a witness to the truth of the everlasting gospel that all the world cannot impeach; and their innocent blood on the banner of liberty, and on the magna charta of the United States, is an ambassador for the religion of Jesus Christ, that will touch the hearts of honest men among all nations; and their innocent blood, with the innocent blood of all the martyrs under the aaltar that John saw, will cry unto the Lord of Hosts till he avenges that blood on the earth. Amen.
  22.   36 For they akilled the prophets, and them that were sent unto them; and they have bshed innocent blood, which crieth from the ground against them.
