Appear unto

  1.   7 And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, aUnto thy bseed will I give this cland: and there builded he an daltar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.
  2.   1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord aappeared to bAbram, and said unto him, I am the cAlmighty God; dwalk before me, and be thou eperfect.
  3.   1 And the Lord aappeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
  4.   2 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

      24 And the aLord appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: bfear not, for cI am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy dseed for my servant Abraham’s sake.
  5.   1 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Beth-el, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou afleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

      7 And he built there an altar, and called the place El-beth-el: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

      9 ¶ And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padan-aram, and blessed him.
  6.   3 And Jacob said unto Joseph, God aAlmighty bappeared unto me at cLuz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,
  7.   2 And the aangel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of bfire out of the midst of a cbush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

      16 Go, and gather the aelders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely bvisited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
  8.   1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not abelieve me, nor bhearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee.

      5 That they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
  9.   3 And I aappeared unto bAbraham, unto Isaac, cand unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my dname JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
  10.   4 Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the Lord will aappear unto you.

      6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the aglory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

      23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the aglory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.
  11.   19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation.
  12.   6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the atabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them.
  13.   12 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
  14.   3 And the aangel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art bbarren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.

      10 And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day.

      21 But the angel of the Lord did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the Lord.
  15.   27 ¶ And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?
  16.   5 ¶ In aGibeon the Lord bappeared to Solomon in a cdream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.
  17.   2 That the Lord aappeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at bGibeon.
  18.   9 ¶ And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was aturned from the Lord God of Israel, which had bappeared unto him twice,
  19.   7 ¶ In that night did God aappear unto Solomon, and said unto him, bAsk what I shall give thee.
  20.   1 Then Solomon began to abuild the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount bMoriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the cthreshingfloor of dOrnan the Jebusite.
  21.   12 ¶ And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this aplace to myself for an house of sacrifice.
  22.   16 Let thy awork appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
  23.   5 ¶ Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that acast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be bglorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
  24.   1 In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
  25.   20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a adream, saying, Joseph, thou son of bDavid, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the cHoly Ghost.
  26.   13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
  27.   16 ¶ Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to afast. Verily I say unto you, They bhave their reward.

      18 That thou appear not unto men to afast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall breward thee openly.
  28.   3 And, behold, there appeared unto them aMoses and bElias talking with him.
  29.   28 Even so ye also outwardly appear arighteous unto men, but within ye are full of bhypocrisy and iniquity.
  30.   53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the aholy city, and appeared unto many.
  31.   4 And there appeared unto them Elias with aMoses: and they were talking with Jesus.
  32.   9 ¶ Now when Jesus was arisen early the first day of the week, he bappeared first to cMary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

  36.   2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father aAbraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in bCharran,

      30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an aangel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

      35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a adeliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
  37.   17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his ahands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that bappeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath csent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the dHoly Ghost.
  38.   9 And a avision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
  39.   16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have aappeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a bwitness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
  40.   12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

  42.   11 For the agrace of God bthat bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
  43.   26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once ain the bend of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the csacrifice of himself.

  45.   11 And as I said unto you, as they were going about arebelling against God, behold, the bangel of the Lord cappeared unto them; and he descended as it were in a dcloud; and he spake as it were with a voice of thunder, which caused the earth to shake upon which they stood;

      32 And now it came to pass that Alma began from this time forward to teach the people, and those who were with Alma at the time the angel appeared unto them, traveling round about through all the land, publishing to all the people the things which they had heard and seen, and preaching the word of God in much tribulation, being greatly persecuted by those who were unbelievers, being smitten by many of them.
  46.   14 And it came to pass that while he was journeying thither, being weighed down with sorrow, wading through much atribulation and anguish of soul, because of the wickedness of the people who were in the city of Ammonihah, it came to pass while Alma was thus weighed down with sorrow, behold an bangel of the Lord appeared unto him, saying:
  47.   7 As I was journeying to see a very near kindred, behold an aangel of the Lord appeared unto me and said: Amulek, return to thine own house, for thou shalt feed a prophet of the Lord; yea, a holy man, who is a chosen man of God; for he has bfasted many days because of the sins of this people, and he is an hungered, and thou shalt creceive him into thy house and feed him, and he shall bless thee and thy house; and the blessing of the Lord shall rest upon thee and thy house.
  48.   20 And many of the people did inquire concerning the place where the Son of God should come; and they were taught that he would aappear unto them bafter his resurrection; and this the people did hear with great joy and gladness.
  49.   2 Now these sons of Mosiah were with Alma at the time the angel afirst appeared unto him; therefore Alma did rejoice exceedingly to see his brethren; and what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for they were men of a sound understanding and they had bsearched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.
  50.   5 Therefore, as Aaron entered into one of their asynagogues to preach unto the people, and as he was speaking unto them, behold there arose an Amalekite and began to contend with him, saying: What is that thou hast testified? Hast thou seen an bangel? Why do not angels appear unto us? Behold care not this people as good as thy people?
     
  51.   53 But behold, the devil hath adeceived me; for he bappeared unto me in the cform of an angel, and said unto me: Go and reclaim this people, for they have all gone astray after an unknown God. And he said unto me: There is dno God; yea, and he taught me that which I should say. And I have taught his words; and I taught them because they were pleasing unto the ecarnal mind; and I taught them, even until I had much success, insomuch that I verily believed that they were true; and for this cause I withstood the truth, even until I have brought this great fcurse upon me.
  52.   15 And thus, according to his word the aearth goeth back, and it appeareth unto man that the bsun standeth still; yea, and behold, this is so; for surely it is the earth that moveth and not the sun.
  53.   3 And behold, this will I give unto you for a asign at the time of his coming; for behold, there shall be great lights in heaven, insomuch that in the night before he cometh there shall be no darkness, insomuch that it shall appear unto man as if it was day.

      25 And many agraves shall be opened, and shall yield up many of their dead; and many saints shall appear unto many.
  54.   14 And aangels did appear unto men, wise men, and did declare unto them glad tidings of great joy; thus in this year the scriptures began to be fulfilled.
  55.   21 And it came to pass also that a new astar did appear, according to the word.
  56.   8 And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they asaw a Man bdescending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them; and the eyes of the whole multitude were turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant, for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them.
  57.   16 Moreover, when ye afast be not as the bhypocrites, of a sad countenance, for they disfigure their faces that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.

      18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father, who is in asecret; and thy Father, who seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
  58.   9 Verily I say unto you, I commanded my servant aSamuel, the Lamanite, that he should testify unto this people, that at the day that the Father should glorify his name in me that there were bmany csaints who should darise from the dead, and should appear unto many, and should minister unto them. And he said unto them: Was it not so?

      11 And Jesus said unto them: How be it that ye have not awritten this thing, that many bsaints did arise and appear unto many and did minister unto them?
  59.   16 Behold, this abody, which ye now bbehold, is the cbody of my dspirit; and man have I created after the body of my spirit; and even as I appear unto thee to be in the spirit will I appear unto my people in the flesh.
  60.   36 Or have angels ceased to appear unto the children of men? Or has he awithheld the power of the Holy Ghost from them? Or will he, so long as time shall last, or the earth shall stand, or there shall be one man upon the face thereof to be saved?
  61.   54 And the Lord appeared unto them, and they rose up and blessed aAdam, and called him Michael, the prince, the archangel.
  62.   8 Yea, I will aappear unto my servants, and speak unto them with mine own voice, if my people will keep my commandments, and do not bpollute this choly house.
  63.   36 And now, verily saith the Lord, that these things might be known among you, O inhabitants of the earth, I have sent forth mine aangel flying through the midst of heaven, having the everlasting bgospel, who hath appeared unto some and hath committed it unto man, who shall appear unto cmany that dwell on the earth.
  64.   6 And after many days an aangel of the Lord appeared unto Adam, saying: Why dost thou offer bsacrifices unto the Lord? And Adam said unto him: I know not, save the Lord commanded me.
  65.   6 But I, Abraham, and Lot, my brother’s son, prayed unto the Lord, and the Lord aappeared unto me, and said unto me: Arise, and take Lot with thee; for I have purposed to take thee away out of Haran, and to make of thee a bminister to bear my cname in a strange dland which I will give unto thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession, when they hearken to my voice.

      19 And the Lord aappeared unto me in answer to my prayers, and said unto me: Unto thy seed will I give this bland.
