"after him"

  1.   13 And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
  2.   19 And God said, aSarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my bcovenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
  3.   19 For I aknow him, that he will bcommand his cchildren and his dhousehold after him, and they shall ekeep the way of the Lord, to do justice and fjudgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
  4.   6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
  5.   23 And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days’ journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead.

  14.   14 And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the Lord hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the Lord gone out abefore thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
  15.   34 But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abi-ezer was gathered after him.
      35 And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.
  16.   3 ¶ And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.
  17.   8 ¶ And after him Ibzan of Beth-lehem judged Israel.

      13 ¶ And after him Abdon the son of Hillel, a Pirathonite, judged Israel.
  18.   2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and aglean ears of bcorn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
  19.   13 And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armourbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and his armourbearer slew after him.
  20.   35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.

  24.   6 And David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom: take thou thy lord’s servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him afenced cities, and escape us.
      7 And there went out after him Joab’s men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men: and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

      14 ¶ And he went through all the tribes of Israel unto Abel, and to Beth-maachah, and all the Berites: and they were gathered atogether, and went also after him.
  25.   9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
      10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the Lord wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
      11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.
  26.   20 And thou, my lord, O king, the eyes of all Israel are upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.

      27 Is this thing done by my lord the king, and thou hast not shewed it unto thy servant, who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?
          •  •  •
      35 Then ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.
          •  •  •
      40 And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.
  27.   4 Nevertheless for David’s sake did the Lord his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:
  28.   20 ¶ But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the Lord liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.
      21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?
  29.   27 ¶ But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, aSmite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.
  30.   19 Now they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem: and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish, and slew him there.
  31.   5 He atrusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.
  32.   25 And like unto him was there no aking before him, that bturned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
  33.   12 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three amighties.
  34.   7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was aAsahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
  35.   27 ¶ Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the Lord they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.
  36.   17 And aAzariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the Lord, that were valiant men:
  37.   16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.
      17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
      18 After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

      20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
      21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
      22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.
      23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.
      24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.
      25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and athe tower which lieth out from the king’s high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

      29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the aeast gate.
      30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
      31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and ato the going up of the corner.
  38.   8 And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
  39.   20 They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
  40.   21 For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

      33 The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him.
  41.   32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
  42.   17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

        25 And inasmuch as he is faithful, I will multiply blessings upon him and his seed after him.

        42 And inasmuch as he is faithful in keeping my commandments, which I have given unto him, I will multiply blessings upon him and his seed after him, even a multiplicity of blessings.
    13.   57 For this aanointing have I put upon his head, that his blessing shall also be put upon the head of his posterity after him.

        59 Therefore, let my servant Joseph and his seed after him have place in that house, from generation to generation, forever and ever, saith the Lord.

        69 And if any pay stock into their hands it shall be for stock in that house, for himself, and for his generation after him, from generation to generation, so long as he and his heirs shall hold that stock, and do not sell or convey the stock away out of their hands by their own free will and act, if you will do my will, saith the Lord your God.

        74 Therefore, I say unto you concerning my servant Vinson Knight, if he will do my will let him put stock into that house for himself, and for his generation after him, from generation to generation.

        77 Verily I say unto you, let my servant Hyrum put stock into that house as seemeth him good, for himself and his generation after him, from generation to generation.
            •  •  •
        81 Let my servant Henry G. Sherwood pay stock into that house, as seemeth him good, for himself and his seed after him, from generation to generation.
        82 Let my servant William Law pay stock into that house, for himself and his seed after him, from generation to generation.
