18 And to rule over the aday and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
-
43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt afear thy God.• • •46 And ye shall take them as an ainheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen bfor ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
-
23 These were the chief of the aofficers that were over Solomon’s work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.
-
1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s acommandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
-
2 A wise aservant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
-
10 Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a aservant to have rule over princes.
-
28 He that hath no arule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
-
4 And I will give achildren to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.• • •
-
5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name continually every day is ablasphemed.
-
19 We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy aname.
-
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.• • •• • •
-
3 Yea, they did murmur against me, saying: Our younger brother thinks to arule over us; and we have had much trial because of him; wherefore, now let us slay him, that we may not be afflicted more because of his words. For behold, we will not have him to be our ruler; for it belongs unto us, who are the elder brethren, to brule over this people.
-
• • •12 And my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they who alead thee cause thee to err and destroy the way of thy paths.
-
2 And the people shall take them and bring them to their place; yea, from far unto the ends of the earth; and they shall return to their alands of promise. And the house of Israel shall bpossess them, and the land of the Lord shall be for cservants and handmaids; and they shall take them captives unto whom they were captives; and they shall drule over their oppressors.
-
20 O how marvelous are the works of the Lord, and how long doth he suffer with his people; yea, and how ablind and impenetrable are the understandings of the children of men; for they will not seek wisdom, neither do they desire that she should rule over them!
-
13 Therefore, aif it were possible that you could have bjust men to be your kings, who would establish the claws of God, and judge this people according to his commandments, yea, if ye could have men for your kings who would do even as my father dBenjamin did for this people—I say unto you, if this could always be the case then it would be expedient that ye should always have kings to rule over you.• • •16 Now I say unto you, that because all men are not just it is not expedient that ye should have a aking or kings to rule over you.• • •35 And he also unfolded unto them all the disadvantages they labored under, by having an unrighteous aking to rule over them;• • •
-
17 And the Gods set them in the expanse of the heavens, to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to cause to divide the light from the adarkness.
