"Rule over"

  1.   18 And to rule over the aday and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
  2.   16 Unto the awoman he said, I will greatly bmultiply thy csorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth dchildren; and thy desire shall be to thy ehusband, and he shall rule over thee.
  3.   7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be aaccepted? and if thou bdoest not well, csin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be dhis edesire, and thou shalt rule over him.
  4.   43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt afear thy God.
          •  •  •
      46 And ye shall take them as an ainheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen bfor ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
  5.   22 ¶ Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.
      23 And Gideon said unto them, I will not arule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the Lord shall brule over you.
  6.   23 These were the chief of the aofficers that were over Solomon’s work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.
  7.   31 But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.
  8.   10 And these were the chief of king Solomon’s officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
  9.   15 But the former governors that had been before me awere chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare brule over the people: but so did not I, because of the cfear of God.
  10.   1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s acommandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
  11.   2 A wise aservant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
  12.   10 Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a aservant to have rule over princes.
  13.   28 He that hath no arule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
  14.   19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.
  15.   4 And I will give achildren to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
          •  •  •
      12 ¶ As for my people, children are their oppressors, and awomen rule over them. O my people, they which blead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
  16.   2 And the apeople shall take them, and bbring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Lord for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them ccaptives, whose captives they were; and they shall drule over their oppressors.
  17.   4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of aa bcruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts.
  18.   2 Who raised up the righteous man from the aeast, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him brule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
  19.   5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name continually every day is ablasphemed.
  20.   19 We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy aname.
  21.   33 ¶ As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
  22.   15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
  23.   39 And after thee shall arise another akingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear brule over all the earth.
  24.   39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
  25.   17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, aweep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy bpeople, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to creproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
  26.   42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
  27.   7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
          •  •  •
      17 aObey them that have the rule over you, and bsubmit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
          •  •  •
      24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
  28.   3 Yea, they did murmur against me, saying: Our younger brother thinks to arule over us; and we have had much trial because of him; wherefore, now let us slay him, that we may not be afflicted more because of his words. For behold, we will not have him to be our ruler; for it belongs unto us, who are the elder brethren, to brule over this people.
  29.   4 And I will give children unto them to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
          •  •  •
      12 And my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they who alead thee cause thee to err and destroy the way of thy paths.
  30.   2 And the people shall take them and bring them to their place; yea, from far unto the ends of the earth; and they shall return to their alands of promise. And the house of Israel shall bpossess them, and the land of the Lord shall be for cservants and handmaids; and they shall take them captives unto whom they were captives; and they shall drule over their oppressors.
  31.   20 O how marvelous are the works of the Lord, and how long doth he suffer with his people; yea, and how ablind and impenetrable are the understandings of the children of men; for they will not seek wisdom, neither do they desire that she should rule over them!
  32.   13 Therefore, aif it were possible that you could have bjust men to be your kings, who would establish the claws of God, and judge this people according to his commandments, yea, if ye could have men for your kings who would do even as my father dBenjamin did for this people—I say unto you, if this could always be the case then it would be expedient that ye should always have kings to rule over you.
          •  •  •
      16 Now I say unto you, that because all men are not just it is not expedient that ye should have a aking or kings to rule over you.
          •  •  •
      35 And he also unfolded unto them all the disadvantages they labored under, by having an unrighteous aking to rule over them;
          •  •  •
      41 And it came to pass that they did aappoint bjudges to rule over them, or to judge them according to the law; and this they did throughout all the land.
  33.   18 And the asun to rule over the day, and the moon to rule over the night, and to divide the light from the bdarkness; and I, God, saw that all things which I had made were good;
  34.   22 Unto the woman, I, the Lord God, said: I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception. In asorrow thou shalt bring forth children, and thy desire shall be to thy bhusband, and he shall rule over thee.
  35.   23 If thou doest well, thou shalt be aaccepted. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, and Satan bdesireth to have thee; and except thou shalt hearken unto my commandments, I will cdeliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire. And thou shalt drule over him;
  36.   17 And the Gods set them in the expanse of the heavens, to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to cause to divide the light from the adarkness.
