"Is as a"

  1.   5 He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
  2.   14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
  3.   5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
  4.   3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
  5.   7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the asnare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
  6.   2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
  7.   15 In the light of the king’s countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning afire.
  8.   8 A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
  9.   26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as aa troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
  10.   1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.
  11.   5 Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.
  12.   4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bath-rabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.
  13.   8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a avineyard, as ba lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
  14.   4 For thou hast been a strength to the apoor, a strength to the needy in his bdistress, a crefuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
  15.   7 He was aoppressed, and he was bafflicted, yet he copened not his mouth: he is brought as a dlamb to the eslaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
  16.   17 aZion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the Lord hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.
  17.   4 ¶ O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early adew it goeth away.
  18.   4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy avisitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
  19.   14 ¶ For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
  20.   34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave aauthority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
  21.   16 And assuredly, as the Lord liveth, for the Lord God hath spoken it, and it is his eternal aword, which cannot bpass away, that they who are righteous shall be righteous still, and they who are cfilthy shall be dfilthy still; wherefore, they who are filthy are the edevil and his angels; and they shall go away into feverlasting fire, prepared for them; and their gtorment is as a hlake of fire and brimstone, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever and has no end.
  22.   27 And their atorment is as a blake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up cforever and ever. Thus hath the Lord commanded me. Amen.
  23.   7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he aopened not his mouth; he is brought as a blamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb so he opened not his mouth.
