Drive them

  1.   1 Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for awith a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a bstrong hand shall he cdrive them out of his land.
  2.   29 I will not adrive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the bbeast of the field multiply against thee.
30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31 And I will set thy abounds from the bRed sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto cthe driver: for I will edeliver the finhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
  3.   6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I awot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

11 Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
  4.   3 Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over abefore thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bbring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.
4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the Lord thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my arighteousness the Lord hath bbrought me in to possess this land: but for the cwickedness of these nations the Lord doth drive them out from before thee.
5 Not for thy arighteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  5.   12 For all that do these things are an aabomination unto the Lord: and because of these babominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
  6.   12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and afenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said.
  7.   63 ¶ As for the aJebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the bJebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
  8.   13 Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to atribute; but did not utterly drive them out.
  9.   5 And the Lord your God, he shall aexpel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as the Lord your God hath promised unto you.
  10.   28 And it came to pass, when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites to atribute, and did not utterly drive them out.
          •  •  •
32 But the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: for they did not drive them out.
  11.   3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a asnare unto you.
          •  •  •
23 Therefore the Lord left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
  12.   2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as awax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the bpresence of God.
  13.   3 And adeath shall be bchosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the Lord of hosts.
  14.   15 But, The Lord liveth, that abrought up the children of Israel from the land of the bnorth, and from all the clands whither he had driven them: and I will dbring them again into their eland that I gave unto their fathers.
  15.   2 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not avisited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.
3 And I will agather the bremnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
          •  •  •
8 But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the anorth country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
  16.   9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a areproach and a proverb, a taunt and a bcurse, in all places whither I shall drive them.
  17.   18 And I will apersecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be bremoved to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:
  18.   37 Behold, I will agather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bbring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
  19.   15 Why are thy avaliant men swept away? they stood not, because the Lord did drive them.
  20.   13 And the Lord said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their adefiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
  21.   7 O Lord, arighteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us bconfusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
  22.   15 All their wickedness is in aGilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
  23.   24 And behold, I have seen, in the days of king Benjamin, a serious war and much bloodshed between the Nephites and the Lamanites. But behold, the Nephites did obtain much advantage over them; yea, insomuch that king Benjamin did drive them out of the land of Zarahemla.
  24.   14 And in the astrength of the Lord they did contend against their enemies, until they had slain many thousands of the Lamanites. And it came to pass that they did contend against the Lamanites until they had driven them out of all the lands of their binheritance.
  25.   18 And God did ahear our cries and did answer our prayers; and we did go forth in his might; yea, we did go forth against the Lamanites, and in one day and a night we did slay three thousand and forty-three; we did slay them even until we had driven them out of our land.
  26.   20 And it came to pass that we did drive them again out of our land; and we slew them with a great slaughter, even so many that we did not number them.
  27.   3 Now they durst not slay them, because of the aoath which their king had made unto Limhi; but they would smite them on their bcheeks, and exercise authority over them; and began to put heavy cburdens upon their backs, and drive them as they would a dumb ass—
          •  •  •
7 And they gathered themselves together again, and put on their armor, and went forth against the Lamanites to drive them out of their land.
  28.   6 Behold the back pass, through the back wall, on the back side of the city. The Lamanites, or the aguards of the Lamanites, by night are bdrunken; therefore let us send a proclamation among all this people that they gather together their flocks and herds, that they may drive them into the wilderness by night.
  29.   21 And it came to pass that there was an army sent to drive them out of their land.
  30.   3 And now it came to pass, before the Nephites could raise a sufficient army to drive them out of the land, they had adestroyed the people who were in the city of Ammonihah, and also some around the borders of Noah, and taken others captive into the wilderness.
  31.   39 And when he had driven them afar off, he returned and they watered their flocks and returned them to the pasture of the king, and then went in unto the king, bearing the arms which had been smitten off by the sword of Ammon, of those who sought to slay him; and they were carried in unto the king for a testimony of the things which they had done.
  32.   30 And, as it happened, it was their lot to have fallen into the hands of a more hardened and a more astiffnecked people; therefore they would not hearken unto their words, and they had cast them out, and had smitten them, and had driven them from house to house, and from place to place, even until they had arrived in the land of Middoni; and there they were taken and cast into prison, and bound with bstrong cords, and kept in prison for many days, and were delivered by Lamoni and Ammon.
  33.   29 And also there were many Lamanites on the east by the seashore, whither the Nephites had driven them. And thus the Nephites were nearly surrounded by the Lamanites; nevertheless the Nephites had taken possession of all the northern parts of the land bordering on the wilderness, at the head of the river Sidon, from the east to the west, round about on the wilderness side; on the north, even until they came to the land which they called aBountiful.
  34.   23 And it came to pass that the Nephites were not sufficiently strong in the city of Moroni; therefore Amalickiah did drive them, slaying many. And it came to pass that Amalickiah took possession of the city, yea, possession of all their fortifications.
  35.   38 Now it came to pass that Moroni marched forth on the morrow, and came upon the Lamanites, insomuch that they did slay them with a great slaughter; and they did drive them out of the land; and they did flee, even that they did not return at that time against the Nephites.
  36.   17 And it came to pass in the commencement of the fourteenth year, the war between the robbers and the people of Nephi did continue and did become exceedingly sore; nevertheless, the people of Nephi did gain some advantage of the robbers, insomuch that they did drive them back out of their lands into the mountains and into their secret places.
  37.   15 And it came to pass that in the three hundred and sixty and seventh year, the Nephites being angry because the Lamanites had sacrificed their women and their children, that they did go against the Lamanites with exceedingly great anger, insomuch that they did beat again the Lamanites, and drive them out of their lands.
  38.   1 And it came to pass that after I, the Lord God, had driven them out, that Adam began to till the earth, and to have adominion over all the beasts of the field, and to eat his bread by the sweat of his bbrow, as I the Lord had commanded him. And Eve, also, his wife, did clabor with him.
