"By some means"

  1.   5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the atempter have btempted you, and our labour be in vain.
  2.   19 And the king himself did not trust his person without the walls of the city, unless he took his guards with him, fearing that he might by some means fall into the hands of the Lamanites.
20 And he caused that his people should watch the land round about, that by some means they might take those priests that fled into the wilderness, who had stolen the adaughters of the Lamanites, and that had caused such a great destruction to come upon them.
  3.   19 And in the commencement of the twenty and eighth year, Moroni and Teancum and many of the chief acaptains held a council of war—what they should do to cause the Lamanites to come out against them to battle; or that they might by some means flatter them out of their strongholds, that they might gain advantage over them and take again the city of Mulek.
