"With joy"

  1.   6 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the awomen came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with binstruments of musick.

  2.   40 And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.

  3.   16 And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and aharps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
          •  •  •

      25 ¶ So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.

  4.   9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered awillingly, because with perfect heart they offered bwillingly to the Lord: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
          •  •  •

      17 I know also, my God, that thou atriest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

  5.   27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

  6.   16 ¶ And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the adedication of this house of God with joy,
          •  •  •

      22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the Lord had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, ato strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

  7.   43 Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them arejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

  8.   26 He shall apray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

  9.   43 And he brought forth his apeople with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

  10.   10 The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.

  11.   7 ¶ Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a amerry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

  12.   3 Therefore with ajoy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

  13.   2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of aLebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the bglory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

  14.   12 For ye shall go out with ajoy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the btrees of the field shall clap their hands.

  15.   5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my ajealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all bIdumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

  16.   17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

  17.   20 But he that received the seed into astony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

  18.   13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of atemptation fall away.

  19.   17 ¶ And the aseventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

  20.   52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

  21.   52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

  22.   24 But none of these things amove me, neither count I my blife dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the cgospel of the dgrace of God.

  23.   13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and apeace in believing, that ye may abound in bhope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
          •  •  •

      32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be arefreshed.

  24.   4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

  25.   6 And ye became afollowers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much baffliction, with cjoy of the Holy Ghost:

  26.   4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

  27.   17 aObey them that have the rule over you, and bsubmit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

  28.   8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet abelieving, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

  29.   13 But arejoice, inasmuch as ye are bpartakers of Christ’s csufferings; that, when his glory shall be drevealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

  30.   24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you afaultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

  31.   1 And it came to pass that after we had come down into the wilderness unto our father, behold, he was filled with joy, and also my mother, Sariah, was exceedingly glad, for she truly had mourned because of us.

  32.   3 Therefore, with joy shall ye draw awater out of the wells of salvation.

  33.   3 Now in this thing we do rejoice; and we labor diligently to engraven these words upon plates, hoping that our beloved brethren and our children will receive them with thankful hearts, and look upon them that they may learn with joy and not with sorrow, neither with contempt, concerning their first aparents.

  34.   4 For the Lord hath heard thy prayers, and hath judged of thy arighteousness, and hath sent me to declare unto thee that thou mayest rejoice; and that thou mayest declare unto thy people, that they may also be filled with joy.

  35.   3 And it came to pass that after they had spoken these words the Spirit of the Lord came upon them, and they were filled with joy, having received a aremission of their sins, and having peace of bconscience, because of the exceeding cfaith which they had in Jesus Christ who should come, according to the dwords which king Benjamin had spoken unto them.
          •  •  •

      20 And behold, even at this time, ye have been calling on his name, and begging for a aremission of your sins. And has he suffered that ye have begged in vain? Nay; he has poured out his bSpirit upon you, and has caused that your hearts should be filled with cjoy, and has caused that your mouths should be stopped that ye could not find utterance, so exceedingly great was your joy.

  36.   28 And now Limhi was again filled with joy on learning from the mouth of Ammon that king Mosiah had a agift from God, whereby he could binterpret such engravings; yea, and Ammon also did rejoice.

  37.   14 And it came to pass that Mosiah areceived them with joy; and he also received their brecords, and also the crecords which had been found by the people of Limhi.

  38.   25 And after they had been in the wilderness atwelve days they arrived in the land of Zarahemla; and king Mosiah did also breceive them with joy.

  39.   14 Looking forward to that day, thus aretaining a bremission of their sins; being filled with great cjoy because of the resurrection of the dead, according to the will and power and ddeliverance of Jesus Christ from the bands of death.

  40.   17 That they might not be hardened against the word, that they might not be unbelieving, and go on to destruction, but that they might receive the word with joy, and as a abranch be grafted into the true vine, that they might enter into the brest of the Lord their God.
          •  •  •

      20 And many of the people did inquire concerning the place where the Son of God should come; and they were taught that he would aappear unto them bafter his resurrection; and this the people did hear with great joy and gladness.

  41.   29 Now they wept because of the fear of being slain. Now when Ammon saw this his heart was swollen within him with joy; for, said he, I will show forth my power unto these my fellow-servants, or the power which is in me, in restoring these flocks unto the king, that I may win the hearts of these my fellow-servants, that I may lead them to abelieve in my words.

  42.   13 For as sure as thou livest, behold, I have aseen my Redeemer; and he shall come forth, and be bborn of a cwoman, and he shall redeem all mankind who believe on his name. Now, when he had said these words, his heart was swollen within him, and he sunk again with joy; and the queen also sunk down, being overpowered by the Spirit.

      14 Now Ammon seeing the Spirit of the Lord poured out according to his aprayers upon the Lamanites, his brethren, who had been the cause of so much mourning among the Nephites, or among all the people of God because of their iniquities and their btraditions, he fell upon his knees, and began to pour out his soul in prayer and thanksgiving to God for what he had done for his brethren; and he was also overpowered with cjoy; and thus they all three had dsunk to the earth.
          •  •  •

      30 And when she had said this, she clasped her hands, being filled with joy, speaking many words which were not understood; and when she had done this, she took the king, Lamoni, by the hand, and behold he arose and stood upon his feet.

  43.   15 And it came to pass that after Aaron had expounded these things unto him, the king said: aWhat shall I do that I may have this eternal life of which thou hast spoken? Yea, what shall I do that I may be bborn of God, having this wicked spirit crooted out of my breast, and receive his Spirit, that I may be filled with joy, that I may not be cast off at the last day? Behold, said he, I will give up dall that I possess, yea, I will forsake my kingdom, that I may receive this great joy.

  44.   11 But Ammon said unto him: I do not aboast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my bjoy is full, yea, my heart is brim with cjoy, and I will rejoice in my God.

  45.   10 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember awhat the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.

  46.   6 And now when Alma heard this, he turned him about, his face immediately towards him, and he beheld with great joy; for he beheld that their aafflictions had truly bhumbled them, and that they were in a cpreparation to hear the word.

  47.   20 And oh, what ajoy, and what marvelous light I did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was my pain!

  48.   9 Now when the Lamanites heard these words they received him with joy; and they said unto him: Give us of your wine, that we may drink; we are glad that ye have thus taken wine with you for we are weary.

  49.   36 Now it came to pass that when I, Helaman, had heard these words of Gid, I was filled with exceeding joy because of the goodness of God in preserving us, that we might not all perish; yea, and I trust that the souls of them who have been slain have aentered into the rest of their God.

  50.   35 Nevertheless they did afast and bpray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their chumility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the dpurifying and the esanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their fyielding their hearts unto God.

  51.   44 And aNephi and bLehi were in the midst of them; yea, they were encircled about; yea, they were as if in the midst of a flaming fire, yet it did harm them not, neither did it take hold upon the walls of the prison; and they were filled with that cjoy which is unspeakable and full of glory.

  52.   33 And their hearts were swollen with joy, unto the gushing out of many tears, because of the great goodness of God in delivering them out of the hands of their enemies; and they knew it was because of their repentance and their humility that they had been delivered from an everlasting destruction.

  53.   13 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall aenlighten your bmind, which shall fill your soul with cjoy;

  54.   43 But, behold, I, the Lord, will hasten the city in its time, and will crown the faithful with ajoy and with rejoicing.

  55.   21 And you shall be filled with ajoy and gladness; and know this, that in the day of judgment you shall be bjudges of that house, and condemn them;

  56.   53 And he said unto the second: Go ye also into the field, and in the second hour I will visit you with the joy of my countenance.

  57.   88 Let my servant William go and proclaim my everlasting gospel with a loud voice, and with great joy, as he shall be moved upon by my aSpirit, unto the inhabitants of Warsaw, and also unto the inhabitants of Carthage, and also unto the inhabitants of Burlington, and also unto the inhabitants of Madison, and await patiently and diligently for further instructions at my general conference, saith the Lord.
          •  •  •

      101 Therefore, let my servant William cry aloud and spare not, with joy and rejoicing, and with hosannas to him that sitteth upon the throne forever and ever, saith the Lord your God.

  58.   15 I beheld that they were filled with ajoy and gladness, and were rejoicing together because the day of their bdeliverance was at hand.
