"I will be"

  1.   8 And I will agive unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the bland wherein thou art a cstranger, all the dland of eCanaan, for an everlasting fpossession; and I will be their gGod.
  2.   3 aSojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bbless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these ccountries, and I will perform the doath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
  3.   3 And the Lord said unto Jacob, aReturn unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and bI will be with thee.
  4.   9 I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the ablame for ever:
  5.   12 And he said, Certainly I will be awith thee; and this shall be ba token unto thee, that I have csent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this dmountain.
  6.   12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy amouth, and bteach thee what thou shalt say.
          •  •  •
15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy amouth, and with his mouth, and will bteach you what ye shall do.
  7.   7 And I will take you to me for a apeople, and I will be to you a bGod: and ye shall cknow that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
  8.   4 aAnd I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured bupon Pharaoh, and upon all his chost; that the Egyptians may dknow that I am the Lord. And they did so.
  9.   22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine aenemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
  10.   19 And he said, I will make all my agoodness pass before thee, and I will bproclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew cmercy on whom I will shew mercy.
  11.   3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron aheld his peace.
  12.   32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be ahallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which bhallow you,
  13.   23 And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a acharge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
  14.   5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with aMoses, so I will be bwith thee: I will not fail thee, nor cforsake thee.
  15.   7 ¶ And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to amagnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.
  16.   16 And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be awith thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.
  17.   22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.
  18.   14 I will be his afather, and he shall be my bson. If he commit iniquity, I will cchasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
  19.   34 But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father’s servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.
  20.   5 ¶ Then aAdonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.
  21.   38 And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt awalk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant bdid; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure chouse, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
  22.   22 And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a alying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
  23.   13 I will be his afather, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:
  24.   10 He shall abuild an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his bkingdom over Israel for ever.
  25.   6 And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my ahouse and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
  26.   6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
  27.   2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
  28.   7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
  29.   18 For I will adeclare mine iniquity; I will be bsorry for my sin.
  30.   10 Be astill, and bknow that I am God: I will be cexalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
  31.   11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
  32.   15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
  33.   34 My ameditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.
  34.   23 ¶ All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me.
  35.   7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be aan healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
  36.   14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the amost High.
  37.   2 When thou passest through the awaters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the bfire, thou shalt not be cburned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
  38.   3 And said unto me, Thou art my aservant, O Israel, in whom I will be bglorified.
  39.   23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, aObey my bvoice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
  40.   4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, aObey my voice, and do them, according to all which bI command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
  41.   7 And I will give them an aheart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
  42.   14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will agather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
  43.   22 And ye shall be my apeople, and I will be your God.
  44.   38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
  45.   13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and aI will cause my bfury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the Lord have cspoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
  46.   20 That they may awalk in my statutes, and keep mine bordinances, and do them: and they shall be my cpeople, and I will be their God.
  47.   42 So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
  48.   3 Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be aenquired of by you.
          •  •  •
31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you.
          •  •  •
41 I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and agather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be bsanctified in you before the heathen.
  49.   22 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
  50.   28 And ye shall dwell in the aland that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

  51.   23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their aidols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will bsave them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will ccleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
          •  •  •
27 My atabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their bGod, and they shall be my people.
  52.   23 Thus will I magnify myself, and asanctify myself; and I will be bknown in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
  53.   9 Then said God, Call his name aLo-ammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
  54.   14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
  55.   7 Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
          •  •  •
10 I will be thy aking: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a bking and princes?
          •  •  •
14 I will aransom them from the power of the bgrave; I will credeem them from death: O ddeath, I will be thy eplagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: frepentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
  56.   5 I will be as the adew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
  57.   8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the ahouse; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
  58.   8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my apeople, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
          •  •  •
11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the Lord of hosts.
  59.   5 And I will come near to you to ajudgment; and I will be a swift witness against the bsorcerers, and against the cadulterers, and against dfalse swearers, and against those that eoppress the hireling in his fwages, the gwidow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the hstranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.
  60.   3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was acleansed.
  61.   41 And Jesus, moved with acompassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
  62.   13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
  63.   15 But if it be a aquestion of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.
  64.   12 aAll things are lawful unto me, but all things are not bexpedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
  65.   16 And what aagreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the btemple of the living God; as God hath said, I will cdwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  66.   14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I aseek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
  67.   5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my aSon, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a bFather, and he shall be to me a Son?
  68.   10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my alaws into their bmind, and write them in their chearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
          •  •  •
12 For I will be merciful to their aunrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I bremember no more.
  69.   12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
  70.   7 He that aovercometh shall binherit call things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my dson.
  71.   33 Wherefore saith the Lamb of God: I will be amerciful unto the Gentiles, unto the visiting of the remnant of the house of Israel in great judgment.
34 And it came to pass that the angel of the Lord spake unto me, saying: Behold, saith the Lamb of God, after I have avisited the bremnant of the house of Israel—and this remnant of whom I speak is the seed of thy father—wherefore, after I have visited them in judgment, and smitten them by the hand of the Gentiles, and after the Gentiles do cstumble exceedingly, because of the most plain and precious parts of the dgospel of the Lamb which have been kept back by that abominable church, which is the mother of harlots, saith the Lamb—I will be merciful unto the eGentiles in that day, insomuch that I will fbring forth unto them, in mine own power, much of my ggospel, which shall be plain and precious, saith the Lamb.
  72.   13 And I will also be your alight in the wilderness; and I will prepare the way before you, if it so be that ye shall keep my commandments; wherefore, inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall be led towards the bpromised land; and ye shall cknow that it is by me that ye are led.
  73.   3 And said unto me: Thou art my aservant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
  74.   14 For he that raiseth up a aking against me shall perish, for I, the Lord, the bking of heaven, will be their king, and I will be a clight unto them forever, that hear my words.
  75.   7 In that day shall he swear, saying: I will not be a healer; for in my house there is neither bread nor clothing; make me not a ruler of the people.
  76.   22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces; and her time is near to come, and her day shall not be prolonged. For I will destroy her speedily; yea, for I will be merciful unto my people, but the wicked shall perish.
  77.   14 aI will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.
  78.   32 aWo be unto the Gentiles, saith the Lord God of Hosts! For notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me; nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and bcome unto me; for mine carm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts.
  79.   24 Yea, and it shall come to pass that when they shall acry unto me I will be bslow to hear their cries; yea, and I will suffer them that they be smitten by their enemies.
  80.   4 And now O king, if thou hast not found me to be an unprofitable servant, or if thou hast hitherto listened to my words in any degree, and they have been of service to thee, even so I desire that thou wouldst listen to my words at this time, and I will be thy servant and deliver this people out of bondage.
  81.   11 Therefore I will be your king the remainder of my days; nevertheless, let aus appoint bjudges, to judge this people according to our law; and we will newly arrange the affairs of this people, for we will appoint wise men to be judges, that will judge this people according to the commandments of God.
  82.   25 But Ammon said unto him: Nay, but I will be thy servant. Therefore Ammon became a aservant to king Lamoni. And it came to pass that he was set among other servants to watch the flocks of Lamoni, according to the custom of the Lamanites.
  83.   22 And behold, this apeople will I establish in this land, unto the fulfilling of the bcovenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a cNew Jerusalem. And the dpowers of heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even eI will be in the midst of you.
  84.   25 And then shall the apower of heaven come down among them; and bI also will be in the midst.
          •  •  •
29 And they shall go out from all nations; and they shall anot go out in bhaste, nor go by flight, for I will go before them, saith the Father, and I will be their rearward.
  85.   5 And I will come anear to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the bsorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false cswearers, and against those that doppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the efatherless, and that turn aside the fstranger, and fear not me, saith the Lord of Hosts.
  86.   14 And their arm shall be my arm, and I will be their ashield and their buckler; and I will gird up their loins, and they shall fight manfully for me; and their benemies shall be under their feet; and I will let cfall the dsword in their behalf, and by the efire of mine indignation will I preserve them.
  87.   14 But now I tell it unto you, and ye are blessed, not because of your iniquity, neither your hearts of unbelief; for verily some of you are aguilty before me, but I will be merciful unto your bweakness.
          •  •  •
21 But, verily I say unto you that in time ye shall have no aking nor ruler, for I will be your king and watch over you.
  88.   12 And it shall come to pass that power shall arest upon thee; thou shalt have great faith, and I will be with thee and go before thy face.
  89.   4 And I will be your aruler when I bcome; and behold, I come quickly, and ye shall see that my law is kept.
  90.   9 Until the time shall come when it shall be revealed unto you from on high, when the acity of the bNew Jerusalem shall be prepared, that ye may be cgathered in one, that ye may be my dpeople and I will be your God.
  91.   27 Behold, I will go before you and be your arearward; and I will be in your bmidst, and you shall not be cconfounded.
  92.   16 Behold ye shall answer this question yourselves; nevertheless, I will be amerciful unto you; he that is weak among you hereafter shall be made bstrong.
  93.   4 I will be merciful unto you, for I have given unto you the akingdom.
  94.   11 aPraying always that they bfaint not; and inasmuch as they do this, I will be with them even unto the end.
          •  •  •
13 And again, verily thus saith the Lord, let my servant Orson Hyde and my servant Samuel H. Smith take their journey into the eastern countries, and proclaim the things which I have commanded them; and inasmuch as they are faithful, lo, I will be awith them even unto the end.
  95.   88 And whoso areceiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go bbefore your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my cSpirit shall be in your hearts, and mine dangels round about you, to bear you up.
  96.   19 Wherefore, whithersoever they shall send you, go ye, and I will be with you; and in whatsoever place ye shall proclaim my name an aeffectual door shall be opened unto you, that they may receive my word.
  97.   19 For behold, I will be with him, and I will sanctify him before the people; for unto him have I given the akeys of this kingdom and ministry. Even so. Amen.
  98.   1 And I, the aLord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That bSatan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the cbeginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will dredeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely eI will do it; wherefore fgive me thine honor.
  99.
