  4.   8 And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
  5.   16 Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.
  6.   3 As the dew of aHermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord bcommanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

      17 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
  9.   14 ¶ Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young ahart upon the mountains of spices.
  10.   14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
  11.   7 ¶ How abeautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bbringeth cgood dtidings, that epublisheth fpeace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto gZion, Thy God reigneth!
  12.   7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and ablasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
  13.   16 Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause adarkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
  14.   5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
  15.   19 Our persecutors are aswifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness.
  16.   6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath alifted up his eyes to the bidols of the house of Israel, neither hath cdefiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous dwoman,
          •  •  •
      11 And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his aneighbour’s wife,
          •  •  •
      15 That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour’s wife,
  17.   9 And they put him in ward in achains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into bholds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
  18.   9 In thee are men that acarry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit blewdness.
  19.   12 And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
  20.   5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy aheight.
  21.   13 And I will abring them out from the people, and bgather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own cland, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
      14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they alie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
  22.   22 And I will make them aone bnation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and cone king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more dtwo nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
  23.   2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the anorth parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
          •  •  •
      4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
          •  •  •
      17 ¶ And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every abeast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
  24.   2 A day of adarkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
  25.   9 ¶ Publish in the palaces at aAshdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
  26.   15 Behold upon the mountains the afeet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
  27.   18 Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.
  28.   11 And I called for a adrought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the bcorn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
  29.   37 And ablessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my bZion at that day, for they shall have the cgift and the dpower of the Holy Ghost; and if they eendure unto the end they shall be flifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting gkingdom of the Lamb; and whoso shall hpublish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be.
  30.   14 And upon all the ahigh mountains, and upon all the hills, and upon all the nations which are lifted up, and upon every people;
  31.   21 aHow beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him bthat bringeth good tidings; that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good; that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth;
  32.   15 And O how beautiful upon the mountains were their feet!
      16 And again, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those that are still publishing peace!
      17 And again, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who shall hereafter publish peace, yea, from this time henceforth and forever!
      18 And behold, I say unto you, this is not all. For O how beautiful upon the mountains are the afeet of him that bringeth good tidings, that is the founder of bpeace, yea, even the Lord, who has redeemed his people; yea, him who has granted salvation unto his people;
  33.   28 And it came to pass that it was expedient that there should be a stop put to this work of destruction; therefore they sent an army of strong men into the wilderness and upon the mountains to search out this band of robbers, and to destroy them.
  34.   27 And it came to pass that the ninety and third year did also pass away in peace, save it were for the Gadianton robbers, who dwelt upon the amountains, who did infest the land; for so strong were their holds and their secret places that the people could not overpower them; therefore they did commit many murders, and did do much slaughter among the people.
  35.   20 Now the people said unto Gidgiddoni: aPray unto the Lord, and let us go up upon the mountains and into the wilderness, that we may fall upon the robbers and destroy them in their own lands.
  36.   40 And then shall they say: aHow beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings unto them, that bpublisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings unto them of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth!
  37.   29 And thou shalt adeclare glad tidings, yea, bpublish it upon the mountains, and upon every high place, and among every people that thou shalt be permitted to see.
  38.   25 Zion shall aflourish upon the bhills and rejoice upon the mountains, and shall be assembled together unto the place which I have appointed.

  40.   19 Now, what do we hear in the gospel which we have received? A voice of agladness! A voice of mercy from heaven; and a voice of btruth out of the earth; glad tidings for the dead; a voice of gladness for the living and the dead; glad tidings of great cjoy. How beautiful upon the mountains are the dfeet of those that bring glad tidings of good things, and that say unto Zion: Behold, thy God reigneth! As the edews of Carmel, so shall the knowledge of God descend upon them!
  41.   17 The afear of the Lord was upon all nations, so great was the bglory of the Lord, which was upon his people. And the Lord blessed the cland, and they were blessed upon the mountains, and upon the high places, and did flourish.
          •  •  •
      28 And it came to pass that the God of heaven looked upon the aresidue of the people, and he wept; and Enoch bore record of it, saying: How is it that the heavens weep, and shed forth their tears as the rain upon the mountains?
