"One of them"

  1.   27 And as one of them opened his sack to give his ass provender in the inn, he espied his amoney; for, behold, it was in his sack’s mouth.

  2.   7 And he took six hundred chosen achariots, and ball the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
          •  •  •

28 And the awaters returned, and bcovered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the csea after them; there remained not so much as done of them.

  3.   3 And they gathered themselves together against aMoses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is bamong them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?
          •  •  •

15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, aRespect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

  4.   2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them aa rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.

  5.   5 ¶ If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the awife of the dead shall not marry bwithout unto a stranger: her chusband’s dbrother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an ehusband’s brother unto her.

  6.   35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! athou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have bopened my mouth unto the Lord, and I cannot go back.

  7.   36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.

  8.   30 ¶ And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying, Absalom hath slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left.

  9.   22 Then David arose, and all the people that were with him, and they passed over Jordan: by the morning light there lacked not one of them that was not gone over Jordan.

  10.   19 I am one of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of the Lord?

  11.   12 Go and say unto David, Thus saith the Lord, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

  12.   40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

  13.   2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the agods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

  14.   13 And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.

  15.   10 Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

  16.   20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is abroken.

  17.   3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

  18.   8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

  19.   6 They search out ainiquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

  20.   7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion aappeareth before God.

  21.   11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not aone of them left.

  22.   26 Be not thou one of them that astrike hands, or of them that are bsureties for debts.

  23.   15 The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.

  24.   10 ¶ aWoe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of bstrife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on cusury; yet every one of them doth curse me.

  25.   16 Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.

  26.   5 And the aSpirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I bknow the things that come into your cmind, every one of them.

  27.   16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

  28.   9 And out of one of them came forth a little ahorn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

  29.   11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as aone of them.

  30.   29 Are not two asparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

  31.   12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred asheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

  32.   13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

  33.   35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, atempting him, and saying,

  34.   22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
          •  •  •

51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a aservant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear.
          •  •  •

73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech abewrayeth thee.

  35.   48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with avinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.

  36.   47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
          •  •  •

69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

  37.   40 ¶ Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with adivers diseases brought them unto him; and he blaid his chands on every one of them, and healed them.

  38.   6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is aforgotten before God?

  39.   15 ¶ And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall aeat bbread in the kingdom of God.

  40.   4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine ain the wilderness, and go after that which is blost, until he find it?

  41.   15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

  42.   50 ¶ And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

  43.   18 And the one of them, whose name was aCleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

  44.   7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

  45.   50 aNicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

  46.   49 And one of them, named aCaiaphas, being the bhigh priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

  47.   2 There they made him a supper; and aMartha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

  48.   24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was aoppressed, and bsmote the Egyptian:

  49.   28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the aSpirit that there should be great bdearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

  50.   26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the aaccomplishment of the days of bpurification, until that an coffering should be offered for every one of them.
    1.   18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
    2.   8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of aodours, which are the bprayers of saints.
    3.   11 And awhite brobes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should crest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
    4.   17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have amercy on their fatherless and bwidows; for cevery one of them is a hypocrite and an devildoer, and every mouth speaketh efolly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his fhand is stretched out still.
    5.   18 All the kings of the nations, yea, all of them, lie in glory, every one of them in his own house.
    6.   20 And it came to pass that one of them said unto him: aWhat meaneth the words which are written, and which have been taught by our fathers, saying:
    7.   8 And they came upon the armies of the Lamanites, and the Lamanites were scattered and driven into the wilderness; and they took their brethren who had been taken captive by the Lamanites, and there was not one soul of them had been lost that were taken captive. And they were brought by their brethren to possess their own lands.
    8.   22 Now, one of them, whose brother had been aslain with the sword of Ammon, being exceedingly angry with Ammon, drew his sword and went forth that he might let it fall upon Ammon, to slay him; and as he lifted the sword to smite him, behold, he fell dead.
    9.   20 Now the servants had seen the cause of the king’s fall, therefore they durst not lay their hands on Aaron and his brethren; and they pled with the queen saying: Why commandest thou that we should slay these men, when behold one of them is amightier than us all? Therefore we shall fall before them.
    10.   56 But behold, to my great joy, there had anot one soul of them fallen to the earth; yea, and they had fought as if with the bstrength of God; yea, never were men known to have fought with such miraculous strength; and with such mighty power did they fall upon the Lamanites, that they did frighten them; and for this cause did the Lamanites deliver themselves up as prisoners of war.
    11.   25 And it came to pass that there were two hundred, out of my two thousand and sixty, who had fainted because of the loss of blood; nevertheless, according to the goodness of God, and to our great astonishment, and also the joy of our whole army, there was anot one soul of them who did perish; yea, and neither was there one soul among them who had not received many wounds.
    12.   12 And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words, he touched every one of them with his finger save it were the athree who were to tarry, and then he departed.
    13.   20 But should the remaining councilors, who have not spoken, or any one of them, after hearing the evidences and pleadings impartially, discover an aerror in the decision of the president, they can manifest it, and the case shall have a re-hearing.
    14.   15 And not many years hence, that they and their aposterity shall be bswept from under heaven, saith God, that not one of them is left to stand by the wall.
    15.   62 Behold, verily I say unto you, let my servant George Miller, and my servant Lyman Wight, and my servant John Snider, and my servant Peter Haws, organize themselves, and appoint one of them to be a president over their quorum for the purpose of building that house.
    16.   2 And I saw the astars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it;
            •  •  •
23 And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast achosen before thou wast born.
    17.   10 In the midst of this war of words and tumult of opinions, I often said to myself: What is to be done? Who of all these parties are right; or, are they all wrong together? If any one of them be aright, which is it, and how shall I know it?
            •  •  •
17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself adelivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I bsaw two cPersonages, whose brightness and dglory defy all description, estanding above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My fBeloved gSon. Hear Him!
