Driven before

  1.   28 And I will send ahornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29 I will not adrive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the bbeast of the field multiply against thee.
30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31 And I will set thy abounds from the bRed sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto cthe driver: for I will edeliver the finhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
  2.   2 And I will send an aangel before thee; and I will drive out the bCanaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
  3.   11 aObserve thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I bdrive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
  4.   21 And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the Lord, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,
  5.   52 Then ye shall adrive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their bpictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their chigh places:
          •  •  •
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be apricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
  6.   38 To adrive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an binheritance, as it is this day.
  7.   3 Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over abefore thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bbring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.
4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the Lord thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my arighteousness the Lord hath bbrought me in to possess this land: but for the cwickedness of these nations the Lord doth drive them out from before thee.
5 Not for thy arighteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  8.   23 Then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall apossess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.
  9.   12 For all that do these things are an aabomination unto the Lord: and because of these babominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
  10.   1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the ablessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
  11.   10 And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the aliving God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the bCanaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.
  12.   6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only adivide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
  13.   5 And the Lord your God, he shall aexpel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as the Lord your God hath promised unto you.
          •  •  •
9 For the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to astand before you unto this day.
          •  •  •
13 Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and ascourges in your sides, and bthorns in your eyes, until ye cperish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.
  14.   3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a asnare unto you.
          •  •  •
21 I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:
  15.   24 Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the Lord our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.
  16.   19 Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the Lord have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the Lord; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the Lord, saying, Go, serve other gods.
  17.   7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the aseed of Abraham thy friend for ever?
  18.   2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as awax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the bpresence of God.
  19.   2 Who raised up the righteous man from the aeast, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him brule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
  20.   8 And it came to pass after we had all gone down into the ship, and had taken with us our provisions and things which had been commanded us, we did put forth into the asea and were driven forth before the wind towards the bpromised land.
9 And after we had been adriven forth before the wind for the space of many days, behold, my brethren and the sons of Ishmael and also their wives began to make themselves merry, insomuch that they began to dance, and to sing, and to speak with much brudeness, yea, even that they did forget by what power they had been brought thither; yea, they were lifted up unto exceeding rudeness.
  21.   5 Yea, and I will cause that they shall have aburdens lashed upon their backs; and they shall be driven before like a dumb ass.
  22.   11 And it came to pass that the people of Limhi began to drive the Lamanites before them; yet they were not half so numerous as the Lamanites. But they afought for their lives, and for their bwives, and for their children; therefore they exerted themselves and like dragons did they fight.
  23.   9 For Amulon knew Alma, that he had been aone of the king’s priests, and that it was he that believed the words of Abinadi and was driven out before the king, and therefore he was wroth with him; for he was subject to king Laman, yet he exercised authority over them, and put btasks upon them, and put ctask-masters over them.
  24.   3 And now it came to pass, before the Nephites could raise a sufficient army to drive them out of the land, they had adestroyed the people who were in the city of Ammonihah, and also some around the borders of Noah, and taken others captive into the wilderness.
  25.   21 And it came to pass that the captains of the Lamanites brought up their armies before the place of entrance, and began to contend with the Nephites, to get into their place of security; but behold, they were driven back from time to time, insomuch that they were slain with an immense slaughter.
  26.   5 And behold, they have driven me out before them, and I have fled to the land of Gideon, with as many men as it were possible that I could get.
  27.   13 And because of this their great wickedness, and their aboastings in their own strength, they were left in their own strength; therefore they did not prosper, but were afflicted and smitten, and driven before the Lamanites, until they had lost possession of almost all their lands.
  28.   16 For behold, the Spirit of the Lord hath already ceased to astrive with their fathers; and they are without Christ and God in the world; and they are driven about as bchaff before the wind.
          •  •  •
18 But now, behold, they are aled about by Satan, even as chaff is driven before the wind, or as a vessel is tossed about upon the waves, without sail or anchor, or without anything wherewith to steer her; and even as she is, so are they.
  29.   8 And it came to pass that the wind did never cease to blow towards the promised land while they were upon the waters; and thus they were adriven forth before the wind.
  30.   24 And inasmuch as mine enemies come against you to drive you from my goodly aland, which I have consecrated to be the land of Zion, even from your own lands after these testimonies, which ye have brought before me against them, ye shall curse them;
  31.   67 And may all the scattered remnants of aIsrael, who have been driven to the ends of the earth, come to a knowledge of the truth, believe in the Messiah, and be redeemed from boppression, and rejoice before thee.
