Man among

  1.   10 This is my acovenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be bcircumcised.
  2.   13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the afirstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
  3.   8 ¶ And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle amade ten bcurtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
  4.   4 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
  5.   15 And the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba; which aArba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.
  6.   39 For, as the Lord liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.
  7.   12 ¶ Now aDavid was the son of that Ephrathite of Beth-lehem-judah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.
  8.   4 And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite,
  9.   10 But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
  10.   28 Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.
  11.   28 For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
  12.   2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher agate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was bclothed with linen, with a cwriter’s dinkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen ealtar.
  13.   30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not adestroy it: but I found none.
  14.   18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you aseemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a bfool, that he may be cwise.
  15.   5 I speak to your ashame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
  16.   26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his atongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is bvain.
  17.   8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, avexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
  18.   12 And I looked and beheld a man among the Gentiles, who was separated from the seed of my brethren by the many waters; and I beheld the Spirit of God, that it came down and awrought upon the man; and he went forth upon the many waters, even unto the seed of my brethren, who were in the promised land.
  19.   27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any aman among you have save it be bone cwife; and concubines he shall have none;
  20.   1 And now it came to pass after some years had passed away, there came a man among the people of Nephi, whose name was aSherem.
  21.   20 And it came to pass that there was a man among them whose name was aAbinadi;
  22.   4 And now there was a man among them whose name was Gideon, and he being a strong man and an enemy to the king, therefore he drew his sword, and swore in his wrath that he would slay the king.
  23.   6 And they said: aWho is God, that sendeth bno more authority than one man among this people, to declare unto them the truth of such great and marvelous things?
  24.   27 And there was not a wicked man slain among them; but there were more than a thousand brought to the knowledge of the truth; thus we see that the Lord worketh in many aways to the salvation of his people.
  25.   38 While on the other hand, there was now and then a man fell among the Nephites, by their swords and the loss of blood, they being shielded from the more vital parts of the body, or the more vital parts of the body being shielded from the strokes of the Lamanites, by their abreastplates, and their armshields, and their head-plates; and thus the Nephites did carry on the work of death among the Lamanites.
  26.   4 Now behold, there was no man among them save he had much family and many kindreds and friends; therefore their tribes became exceedingly great.
  27.   15 And it came to pass that there arose a arebellion among the people, because of that secret bcombination which was built up to get power and gain; and there arose a mighty man among them in iniquity, and gave battle unto Moron, in which he did overthrow the half of the kingdom; and he did maintain the half of the kingdom for many years.
  28.   10 And it came to pass that one of the secret combinations murdered him in a secret pass, and obtained unto himself the kingdom; and his name was Lib; and Lib was a man of great stature, more than any other man among all the people.
  29.   26 For what man among you having twelve sons, and is no respecter of them, and they serve him obediently, and he saith unto the one: Be thou clothed in robes and sit thou here; and to the other: Be thou clothed in rags and sit thou there—and looketh upon his sons and saith I am ajust?
  30.   86 Therefore, let no man among you, for this commandment is unto all the afaithful who are called of God in the church unto the ministry, from this hour take purse or scrip, that goeth forth to proclaim this gospel of the kingdom.
          •  •  •
      106 And if any man among you be astrong in the Spirit, let him take with him him that is bweak, that he may be cedified in all dmeekness, that he may become strong also.
  31.   10 And I now give unto you power from this very hour, that if any man among you, of the order, is found a transgressor and repenteth not of the evil, that ye shall adeliver him over unto the buffetings of Satan; and he shall not have power to bbring evil upon you.
          •  •  •
      62 And there shall be a seal upon the treasury, and all the sacred things shall be delivered into the treasury; and no man among you shall call it his own, or any part of it, for it shall belong to you all with one accord.
          •  •  •
      69 Or in other words, if any man among you obtain five dollars let him cast them into the treasury; or if he obtain ten, or twenty, or fifty, or an hundred, let him do likewise;
          •  •  •
      72 And this shall be the voice and common consent of the order—that any man among you say to the treasurer: I have need of this to help me in my stewardship—
  32.   66 In that day when I came unto mine own, no man among you areceived me, and you were driven out.
