"Good works"

  1.   18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
  2.   16 Let your alight so shine before men, that they may see your good bworks, and cglorify your Father which is in heaven.
  3.   10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath awrought a good work upon me.
  4.   6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
  5.   32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for ablasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself bGod.
  6.   36 ¶ Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this awoman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
  7.   3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the apower? do that which is bgood, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
  8.   8 And God is able to make all agrace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
  9.   10 For we are his aworkmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good bworks, which God hath before ordained that we should cwalk in them.
  10.   6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will aperform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
  11.   10 That ye might awalk bworthy of the Lord unto all cpleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the dknowledge of God;
  12.   10 But (which becometh women professing agodliness) with good works.
  13.   1 This is a true asaying, If a man desire the office of a bbishop, he desireth a good work.
  14.   10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have alodged strangers, if she have bwashed the saints’ cfeet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
          •  •  •
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
  15.   18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to adistribute, willing to bcommunicate;
  16.   21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a avessel unto honour, bsanctified, and cmeet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
  17.   17 That the man of God may be aperfect, throughly furnished unto all bgood works.
  18.   16 They aprofess that they bknow God; but in cworks they ddeny him, being abominable, and edisobedient, and unto every good work freprobate.
  19.   7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, agravity, bsincerity,
          •  •  •
14 Who gave ahimself for us, that he might bredeem us from all iniquity, and cpurify unto himself a dpeculiar people, ezealous of good works.
  20.   1 Put them in mind to be asubject to bprincipalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
          •  •  •
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good aworks. These things are good and profitable unto men.
          •  •  •
14 And let aours also learn to maintain bgood works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
  21.   24 And let us aconsider one another to bprovoke unto love and to good works:
  22.   21 Make you perfect in every good awork to do his bwill, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  23.   12 Having your conversation ahonest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good bworks, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
  24.   15 Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in agood works, that Christ, the bLord God Omnipotent, may cseal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him who dcreated all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.
  25.   41 Therefore, if a man bringeth forth agood works he hearkeneth unto the voice of the good shepherd, and he doth follow him; but whosoever bringeth forth evil works, the same becometh a bchild of the devil, for he hearkeneth unto his voice, and doth follow him.
42 And whosoever doeth this must receive his awages of him; therefore, for his bwages he receiveth cdeath, as to things pertaining unto righteousness, being dead unto all good works.
  26.   24 And see that ye have afaith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works.
          •  •  •
27 And now, may the apeace of God rest upon you, and upon your houses and lands, and upon your flocks and herds, and all that you possess, your women and your children, according to your faith and good works, from this time forth and forever. And thus I have spoken. Amen.
  27.   3 And this is the manner after which they were ordained—being acalled and bprepared from the cfoundation of the world according to the dforeknowledge of God, on account of their exceeding faith and good works; in the first place being left to echoose good or evil; therefore they having chosen good, and exercising exceedingly great ffaith, are gcalled with a holy calling, yea, with that holy calling which was prepared with, and according to, a preparatory redemption for such.
  28.   22 Yea, he that arepenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good bworks, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the cmysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be dgiven to ereveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance.
  29.   34 Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find arest to their souls.
  30.   24 And may God grant, in his great fulness, that men might be brought unto repentance and good works, that they might be restored unto grace for agrace, according to their works.
  31.   16 Therefore let your alight so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and bglorify your Father who is in heaven.
  32.   4 Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with asurety bhope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which chope cometh of dfaith, maketh an eanchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in fgood works, being led to gglorify God.
