It is not expedient

  1.   12 aAll things are lawful unto me, but all things are not bexpedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
  2.   23 aAll things are lawful for me, but all things are not bexpedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things cedify not.
  3.   1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to aglory. I will come to bvisions and crevelations of the Lord.
  4.   7 But he said unto them: Behold, it is not expedient that we should have a king; for thus saith the Lord: Ye shall anot esteem one flesh above another, or one man shall not think himself above another; therefore I say unto you it is not expedient that ye should have a king.
  5.   16 Now I say unto you, that because all men are not just it is not expedient that ye should have a aking or kings to rule over you.

      24 And now behold I say unto you, it is not expedient that such abominations should come upon you.
  6.   8 Now behold, it was not expedient that man should be reclaimed from this atemporal death, for that would destroy the great bplan of happiness.

  10.   3 Be patient, my son, for it is awisdom in me, and it is not expedient that you should translate at this present time.

      10 Now, if you had known this you could have atranslated; nevertheless, it is not expedient that you should translate now.
      11 Behold, it was expedient when you commenced; but you afeared, and the time is past, and it is not expedient now;
  11.   1 Behold, I say unto you that it is not expedient in me that ye should atranslate any more until ye shall go to the Ohio, and this because of the enemy and for your sakes.
  12.   65 And if ye ask anything that is not aexpedient for you, it shall turn unto your bcondemnation.
  13.   6 And now, verily I say unto you, that it is not expedient that you should go until your children are aprovided for, and sent up kindly unto the bishop of Zion.
