Anoint king

1. Judg. 9: 8, 15
     8 The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.

     15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let ^afire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.
2. 1 Sam. 15: 17
     17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the Lord ^aanointed thee king over Israel?
3. 2 Sam. 2: 4, 7
     4 And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed ^aDavid king over the house of ^bJudah. And they told David, saying, That the men of ^cJabesh-gilead were they that buried Saul.

     7 Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye ^avaliant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.
4. 2 Sam. 3: 39
     39 And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the Lord shall ^areward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.
5. 2 Sam. 5: 3, 17
     3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the Lord: and they ^aanointed ^bDavid ^cking over Israel.

     7 ¶ And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I ^aanointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

     45 And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This is the noise that ye have heard.
8. 1 Kgs. 5: 1
     1 And ^aHiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a ^blover of David.
9. 2 Kgs. 9: 3, 6, 12
     3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

10. 1 Chr. 11: 3
      3 Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed ^aDavid ^bking over Israel, according to the word of the Lord by Samuel.
11. 1 Chr. 14: 8
      8 ¶ And when the Philistines heard that David was ^aanointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.
12. Ether 9: 4
      4 And it came to pass that Jared was anointed king over the people, by the hand of wickedness; and he gave unto Akish his daughter to wife.
13. Ether 10: 16
      16 And after he had obtained unto himself the kingdom he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord; and the people did prosper in the land; and he did live to a good ^aold age, and begat sons and daughters; and he also begat Corom, whom he anointed king in his stead.
