"Subject to"

  1.   7 Because the acarnal mind is benmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
          •  •  •
20 For the creature was made subject to avanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
  2.   32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
  3.   20 Wherefore if ye be adead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to bordinances,
  4.   1 Put them in mind to be asubject to bprincipalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
  5.   15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to abondage.
  6.   17 Elias was a man subject to like apassions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it brained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
  7.   18 aServants, be subject to your bmasters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the cfroward.
  8.   5 Likewise, ye younger, asubmit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with bhumility: for God cresisteth the dproud, and giveth grace to the ehumble.
  9.   8 O the awisdom of God, his bmercy and cgrace! For behold, if the dflesh should rise no more our spirits must become subject to that angel who efell from before the presence of the Eternal God, and became the fdevil, to rise no more.
  10.   11 But I am like as yourselves, subject to all manner of infirmities in body and mind; yet I have been chosen by this people, and aconsecrated by bmy father, and was suffered by the hand of the Lord that I should be a ruler and a king over this people; and have been kept and preserved by his matchless power, to serve you with all the might, mind and strength which the Lord hath granted unto me.
  11.   5 And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God, asuffereth temptation, and yieldeth not to the temptation, but suffereth himself to be mocked, and bscourged, and cast out, and disowned by his cpeople.
  12.   9 For Amulon knew Alma, that he had been aone of the king’s priests, and that it was he that believed the words of Abinadi and was driven out before the king, and therefore he was wroth with him; for he was subject to king Laman, yet he exercised authority over them, and put btasks upon them, and put ctask-masters over them.
  13.   10 Now when Amlici was made king over them he commanded them that they should take up arms against their brethren; and this he did that he might subject them to him.
  14.   18 And now behold, if ye will lay down your arms, and subject yourselves to be governed by those to whom the government doth rightly belong, then will I cause that my people shall lay down their weapons and shall be at war no more.
  15.   12 We would subject ourselves to the ayoke of bondage if it were requisite with the justice of God, or if he should command us so to do.
13 But behold he doth not command us that we shall subject ourselves to our enemies, but that we should put our atrust in him, and he will deliver us.
  16.   40 Wherefore, it came to pass that the devil tempted Adam, and he partook of the forbidden afruit and btransgressed the commandment, wherein he became csubject to the will of the devil, because he yielded unto temptation.
  17.   22 Wherefore, be asubject to the powers that be, buntil he reigns whose right it is to reign, and subdues all enemies under his feet.
  18.   3 And it came to pass that there arose a great acontention among the people concerning the law of bcircumcision, for the unbelieving husband was desirous that his children should be circumcised and become subject to the claw of Moses, which law was fulfilled.
  19.   77 And in case the treasurer is found an unfaithful and an unwise steward, he shall be subject to the council and voice of the order, and shall be removed out of his place, and aanother shall be appointed in his stead.
  20.   1 As I stated to you in my letter before I left my place, that I would write to you from time to time and give you information in relation to many subjects, I now resume the subject of the abaptism for the dead, as that subject seems to occupy my mind, and press itself upon my feelings the strongest, since I have been pursued by my enemies.
  21.   12 We believe in being asubject to bkings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in cobeying, honoring, and sustaining the dlaw.
