Make an oath

  1.   28 And they said, We saw certainly that the aLord was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;
  2.   11 Then shall an aoath of the Lord be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not bmake it good.
  3.   21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The Lord make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the Lord doth make thy thigh to arot, and thy belly to swell;
  4.   13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
  5.   12 That thou shouldest enter into acovenant with the Lord thy God, and into his boath, which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day:
          •  •  •
      14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
  6.   17 And the men said unto her, We will be ablameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.
          •  •  •
      20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.
  7.   5 And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that acame not up with the bcongregation unto the Lord? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the Lord to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
  8.   4 ¶ And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the Lord, and made a acovenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the Lord, and shewed them the king’s son.
  9.   16 Even of the acovenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
  10.   22 ¶ If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;
  11.   9 Which acovenant he made with Abraham, and his boath unto Isaac;
  12.   13 And hath taken of the king’s aseed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an boath of him: he hath also taken the cmighty of the land:
          •  •  •
      16 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of aBabylon he shall die.
  13.   20 And inasmuch as not without an aoath he was made priest:
      21 (For those apriests were made without an oath; but this with an boath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
          •  •  •
      28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the aoath, which was since the law, maketh the bSon, who is cconsecrated for evermore.
  14.   35 And it came to pass that aZoram did take courage at the words which I spake. Now Zoram was the name of the servant; and he promised that he would go down into the wilderness unto our father. Yea, and he also made an oath unto us that he would tarry with us from that time forth.
          •  •  •
      37 And it came to pass that when Zoram had made an aoath unto us, our bfears did cease concerning him.
  15.   3 And again, it came to pass that when king Benjamin had made an end of all these things, and had consecrated his son aMosiah to be a ruler and a king over his people, and had given him all the charges concerning the kingdom, and also had bappointed cpriests to dteach the people, that thereby they might hear and know the commandments of God, and to stir them up in remembrance of the eoath which they had made, he dismissed the multitude, and they returned, every one, according to their ffamilies, to their own houses.
  16.   25 And it came to pass that the king of the Lamanites made an aoath unto them, that his people should not slay them.
      26 And also Limhi, being the son of the king, having the kingdom conferred upon him aby the people, made boath unto the king of the Lamanites that his people should pay ctribute unto him, even one half of all they possessed.
  17.   14 But Limhi said unto them: Ye shall not slay him, but bring him hither that I may see him. And they brought him. And Limhi said unto him: What cause have ye to come up to war against my people? Behold, my people have not broken the aoath that I made unto you; therefore, why should ye break the oath which ye made unto my people?
          •  •  •
      22 And now let us pacify the king, and we fulfil the aoath which we have made unto him; for it is better that we should be in bondage than that we should lose our blives; therefore, let us put a stop to the shedding of so much blood.
  18.   3 Now they durst not slay them, because of the aoath which their king had made unto Limhi; but they would smite them on their bcheeks, and exercise authority over them; and began to put heavy cburdens upon their backs, and drive them as they would a dumb ass—
  19.   14 But behold, as they were about to take their weapons of war, they were overpowered by the persuasions of Helaman and his brethren, for they were about to abreak the boath which they had made.
  20.   8 But I would not suffer them that they should break this acovenant which they had made, supposing that God would strengthen us, insomuch that we should not suffer more because of the fulfilling the boath which they had taken.
  21.   1 And it came to pass that I did go forth among the Nephites, and did repent of the aoath which I had made that I would no more assist them; and they gave me command again of their armies, for they looked upon me as though I could deliver them from their afflictions.
  22.   47 And it shall come to pass that if you build a house unto my name, and do not do the things that I say, I will not perform the aoath which I make unto you, neither fulfil the promises which ye expect at my hands, saith the Lord.
  23.   60 And the Lord said unto Enoch: As I live, even so will I come in the alast days, in the days of wickedness and vengeance, to fulfil the boath which I have made unto you concerning the children of Noah;
