"Secret places"

  1.   15 aCursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten bimage, an abomination unto the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
  2.   2 But Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
  3.   26 All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
  4.   8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
  5.   12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
  6.   11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
  7.   7 Thou calledst in atrouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret bplace of thunder: I cproved thee at the waters of dMeribah. Selah.
  8.   1 He that dwelleth in the asecret place of the most High shall abide under the bshadow of the Almighty.
  9.   14 ¶ O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
  10.   3 And I will give thee the atreasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy bname, am the cGod of Israel.
  11.   17 But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s aflock is carried away captive.
  12.   24 Can any ahide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I bfill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
  13.   10 But I have made aEsau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his bseed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
  14.   10 He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.
  15.   22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall apollute my secret bplace: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
  16.   33 No man, when he hath lighted a acandle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
  17.   5 And when there were but few of them gathered together to dance, they came forth out of their secret places and took them and carried them into the wilderness; yea, twenty and four of the adaughters of the Lamanites they carried into the wilderness.
  18.   26 But this is not all; ye must apour out your souls in your bclosets, and your secret places, and in your wilderness.
  19.   20 And it came to pass that when the Lamanites had passed by, or when the army had passed by, Gid and Teomner did rise up from their secret places, and did cut off the spies of the Lamanites that they should not return to the city.
  20.   25 And they did commit murder and plunder; and then they would retreat back into the mountains, and into the wilderness and secret places, hiding themselves that they could not be discovered, receiving daily an addition to their numbers, inasmuch as there were dissenters that went forth unto them.
  21.   27 And it came to pass that the ninety and third year did also pass away in peace, save it were for the Gadianton robbers, who dwelt upon the amountains, who did infest the land; for so strong were their holds and their secret places that the people could not overpower them; therefore they did commit many murders, and did do much slaughter among the people.
  22.   17 And it came to pass in the commencement of the fourteenth year, the war between the robbers and the people of Nephi did continue and did become exceedingly sore; nevertheless, the people of Nephi did gain some advantage of the robbers, insomuch that they did drive them back out of their lands into the mountains and into their secret places.
  23.   1 And it came to pass that in the latter end of the eighteenth year those armies of arobbers had prepared for battle, and began to come down and to sally forth from the hills, and out of the mountains, and the wilderness, and their strongholds, and their bsecret places, and began to take possession of the lands, both which were in the land south and which were in the land north, and began to take possession of all the lands which had been cdeserted by the Nephites, and the cities which had been left desolate.
  24.   4 And whoso rejecteth you shall be arejected of my Father and his house; and you shall cleanse your bfeet in the secret places by the way for a testimony against them.
