For children

  1.   34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.

  2.   46 And ye shall take them as an ainheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen bfor ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

  3.   34 These are the commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

  4.   19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to aAaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.

  5.   13 And he shall have it, and his aseed after him, even the bcovenant of an everlasting cpriesthood; because he was dzealous for his God, and made an eatonement for the children of Israel.

  6.   54 And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memorial for the children of Israel before the Lord.

  7.   15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the astranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

  8.   16 The afathers shall not be put to bdeath for the children, neither shall the cchildren be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his down esin.

  9.   6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they aobeyed not the voice of the Lord: unto whom the Lord sware that he would not shew them the bland, which the Lord csware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

  10.   4 For the children of aJoseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their bsuburbs for their cattle and for their substance.

  11.   9 And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

  12.   2 There was also a lot for the rest of the children of aManasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.

  13.   10 ¶ And the third lot came up for the children of aZebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:
          •  •  •

17 ¶ And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
          •  •  •

32 ¶ The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

  14.   40 So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.

  15.   18 Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.

  16.   17 But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of aJudah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

  17.   10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they aseek my life, to take it away.

  18.   7 Then the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this man aseeketh mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.

  19.   6 But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the Lord commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to adeath for his bown csin.

  20.   22 For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them;

  21.   3 And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

  22.   8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the Lord your God: that ye may possess this good aland, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.

  23.   17 But as for the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

  24.   23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy aanother.

  25.   4 But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the Lord commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own asin.

  26.   6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and aconfess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.

  27.   39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.

  28.   19 God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he arewardeth him, and he shall know it.

  29.   5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.

  30.   21 Prepare slaughter for his achildren for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

  31.   3 And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of atrouble, and of rebuke, and of bblasphemy: for the children are come to cthe birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

  32.   30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the Lord: they have set their aabominations in the house which is called by my name, to bpollute it.

  33.   15 ¶ Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in aRamah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

  34.   30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to aanger with the work of their hands, saith the Lord.

  35.   16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one astick, and bwrite upon it, For cJudah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and dwrite upon it, For eJoseph, the fstick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

  36.   1 And at that time shall aMichael stand up, the great prince bwhich standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of ctrouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the dbook.

  37.   4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:

  38.   18 In aRama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great bmourning, Rachel weeping for her cchildren, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

  39.   8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the achildren of blight.

  40.   28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of aJerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

  41.   11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to aelection might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

  42.   14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I aseek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

  43.   12 Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all athings according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise bfaith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him.

  44.   2 And so great were the ablessings of the Lord upon us, that while we did live upon braw cmeat in the wilderness, our women did give plenty of suck for their children, and were strong, yea, even like unto the men; and they began to bear their journeyings without murmurings.

  45.   21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the ainiquities of their fathers, that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

  46.   13 And it came to pass that he caused many buildings to be built in the land Shilom; and he caused a great tower to be built on the ahill north of the land Shilom, which had been a resort for the children of Nephi at the time they bfled out of the land; and thus he did do with the riches which he obtained by the taxation of his people.

  47.   8 And thus God breaketh the abands of death, having gained the bvictory over death; giving the Son power to make cintercession for the children of men—

  48.   11 And it came to pass that the people of Limhi began to drive the Lamanites before them; yet they were not half so numerous as the Lamanites. But they afought for their lives, and for their bwives, and for their children; therefore they exerted themselves and like dragons did they fight.

  49.   33 And again, I remember that thou hast said that thou hast aloved the world, even unto the laying down of thy life for the world, that thou mightest take it again to prepare a place for the children of men.

34 And now I know that this alove which thou hast had for the children of men is charity; wherefore, except men shall have charity they cannot inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father.

  50.   51 And an epistle and subscription, to be presented unto all the churches to obtain moneys, to be put into the hands of the bishop, of himself or the agent, as seemeth him good or as he shall direct, to apurchase lands for an binheritance for the children of God.

    1.   61 But thou knowest that thou hast a great love for the children of Jacob, who have been ascattered upon the bmountains for a long time, in a ccloudy and dark day.
