Seek to kill

  1.   24 ¶ aAnd it came to pass bby the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to ckill him.
  2.   2 But Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
  3.   40 Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto aShishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
  4.   1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews asought to bkill him.

      25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
  5.   37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

      40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
  6.   15 And again, they were awroth with him when they had arrived in the promised land, because they said that he had taken the bruling of the people out of their hands; and they sought to kill him.
  7.   31 Nevertheless, and notwithstanding all these miracles, the people did harden their hearts, and did seek to kill them, even as the Jews at Jerusalem sought to kill Jesus, according to his word.
  8.   22 And it came to pass that Coriantumr repented not, neither his household, neither the people; and the wars ceased not; and they sought to akill Ether, but he fled from before them and hid again in the cavity of the rock.
