Hands upon

  1.   16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being amerciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
  2.   12 And he said, aLay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou bfearest God, seeing thou hast not cwithheld thy son, thine only son from me.
  3.   16 And she put the askins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:
  4.   22 And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

      27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren awere content.
  5.   4 aI will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bbring thee up again: and cJoseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
  6.   14 And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon aEphraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, bguiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.

      17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right ahand upon the head of bEphraim, cit displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.
      18 And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
  7.   4 aBut Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine barmies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
      5 And the Egyptians shall aknow that bI am the cLord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

      17 Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the ariver, and they shall be bturned to cblood.

      19 ¶ And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become ablood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
  8.   22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

      29 But the children of Israel walked upon adry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
  9.   10 And thou shalt cause a abullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their bhands upon the head of the bullock.
          •  •  •
      15 ¶ Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
          •  •  •
      19 ¶ And thou shalt take the other aram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
      20 Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
  10.   4 And he shall put his ahand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be baccepted for him to make catonement for him.
  11.   2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and aAaron’s sons the priests shall bsprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

      8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

      13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
  12.   4 And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the Lord.

      15 And the elders of the acongregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.

      24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord: it is a asin offering.
          •  •  •
      29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
          •  •  •
      33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
  13.   14 And he brought the bullock for the asin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.

      18 ¶ And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
          •  •  •
      22 ¶ And he brought the other aram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
      23 And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
      24 And he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses asprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

      27 And he put all upon Aaron’s hands, and upon his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the Lord.
  14.   14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

      17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

      25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
          •  •  •
      28 And the priest shall put of the aoil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:
  15.   21 And Aaron shall lay both his ahands upon the head of the live goat, and bconfess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a cfit man into the wilderness:
  16.   14 Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
  17.   10 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the Lord: and the children of Israel shall put their ahands upon the bLevites:

      12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the Lord, to make an atonement for the Levites.
  18.   18 ¶ And the Lord said unto Moses, Take thee aJoshua the son of bNun, a man in whom is the cspirit, and dlay thine hand upon him;

      23 And he alaid his bhands upon him, and gave him a ccharge, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.
  19.   9 ¶ And Joshua the son of aNun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had blaid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel chearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
  20.   19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
  21.   19 And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine ahand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a bpriest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?
  22.   27 And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.

  109.   7 For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a amarvelous work among the children of men; a bwork which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other—either to the convincing of them unto cpeace and dlife eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds unto their being brought down into captivity, and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the ecaptivity of the devil, of which I have spoken.
  110.   48 And now it came to pass that when I had spoken these words they were angry with me, and were desirous to throw me into the depths of the sea; and as they came forth to lay their hands upon me I spake unto them, saying: In the name of the Almighty God, I command you that ye atouch me not, for I am filled with the bpower of God, even unto the consuming of my flesh; and whoso shall lay his hands upon me shall cwither even as a dried reed; and he shall be as naught before the power of God, for God shall smite him.

Wherefore, if God being able to speak and the world was, and to speak and man was created, O then, why not able to command the dearth, or the workmanship of his hands upon the face of it, according to his will and pleasure?
  115.   2 And they stood forth and attempted to lay their hands on him; but he withstood them, and said unto them:
      3 aTouch me not, for God shall smite you if ye lay your hands upon me, for I have not delivered the message which the Lord sent me to deliver; neither have I told you that which ye brequested that I should tell; therefore, God will not suffer that I shall be destroyed at this time.

      5 Now it came to pass after Abinadi had spoken these words that the people of king Noah durst not lay their hands on him, for the Spirit of the Lord was upon him; and his face ashone with exceeding luster, even as Moses’ did while in the mount of Sinai, while speaking with the Lord.
  116.   7 And they stood forth to lay their hands on me; but behold, they did not. And I stood with boldness to declare unto them, yea, I did boldly testify unto them, saying:

      32 And also because I said unto them that they were a lost and a fallen people they were angry with me, and sought to lay their hands upon me, that they might cast me into prison.

  120.   36 Now it came to pass that when Alma had said these words, that he aclapped his bhands upon all them who were with him. And behold, as he clapped his hands upon them, they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
  121.   23 And it came to pass that Nephi and Lehi were encircled about aas if by bfire, even insomuch that they durst not lay their hands upon them for fear lest they should be burned. Nevertheless, Nephi and Lehi were not burned; and they were as standing in the midst of fire and were not burned.

      71 Accordingly we went and were baptized. I abaptized him first, and afterwards he baptized me—after which I laid my hands upon his head and ordained him to the Aaronic Priesthood, and afterwards he laid his hands on me and ordained me to the same Priesthood—for so we were commanded.*
