  1.   3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too awonderful for me, which I knew not.
  2.   20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
  3.   5 This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a alanguage that I understood not.
  4.   7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but aprovoked him at the sea, even at the bRed sea.
  5.   5 Evil men aunderstand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things.
  6.   9 ¶ And he said, Go, and tell this people, aHear ye indeed, but bunderstand not; and see ye indeed, but cperceive not.
  7.   8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the aend of these things?
  8.   19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and aunderstandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and bcatcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
  9.   32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.
  10.   50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
  11.   45 But they aunderstood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

  16.   16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
  17.   12 But these, as anatural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly bperish in their own corruption;
  18.   9 And he said: Go and tell this people—Hear ye indeed, but they understood not; and see ye indeed, but they perceived not.
  19.   23 But the word of God burdens me because of your grosser crimes. For behold, thus saith the Lord: This people begin to wax in iniquity; they understand not the scriptures, for they seek to excuse themselves in committing awhoredoms, because of the things which were written concerning David, and Solomon his son.
  20.   15 And many signs, and wonders, and atypes, and shadows showed he unto them, concerning his coming; and also holy prophets spake unto them concerning his coming; and yet they bhardened their hearts, and understood not that the claw of Moses availeth nothing dexcept it were through the eatonement of his blood.
  21.   14 And his brethren were awroth with him because they bunderstood not the dealings of the Lord; they were also wroth with him upon the waters because they hardened their hearts against the Lord.
  22.   32 And now, did they aunderstand the law? I say unto you, Nay, they did not all understand the law; and this because of the hardness of their hearts; for they understood not that there could not any man be saved bexcept it were through the redemption of God.
  23.   12 And so great was their astonishment, that they fell to the earth, and understood not the words which he spake unto them.
  24.   3 Now they understood not the words which they spake; for they knew not that the earth should pass away.
  25.   3 And it came to pass that while they were thus conversing one with another, they heard a avoice as if it came out of heaven; and they cast their eyes round about, for they understood not the voice which they heard; and it was not a harsh voice, neither was it a loud voice; nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a bsmall voice it did cpierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn.
4 And it came to pass that again they heard the voice, and they aunderstood it not.
  26.   2 And it came to pass that when Jesus had said these words he perceived that there were some among them who marveled, and wondered what he would concerning the law of Moses; for they understood not the saying that aold things had passed away, and that all things had become new.
          •  •  •
18 And now, because of astiffneckedness and bunbelief they cunderstood not my word; therefore I was commanded to say no more of the dFather concerning this thing unto them.
          •  •  •
22 And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the aGentiles; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be bconverted through their preaching.
23 And they understood me not that I said they shall hear my voice; and they understood me not that the aGentiles should not at any time hear my voice—that I should not manifest myself unto them save it were by the bHoly Ghost.
  27.   59 I am he who said—aOther bsheep have I which are not of this fold—unto my disciples, and many there were that cunderstood me not.
