And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, ifnow I have found
grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I
have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast
pleased with me.
And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, Ifnow I have found
grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal
kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:
And he said, Ifnow I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
