Come upon him

  1.   14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

      30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the Lord, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
  2.   2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
  3.   10 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the Lord delivered Chushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushan-rishathaim.
  4.   6 And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.

      19 ¶ And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
  5.   14 ¶ And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
  6.   10 And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
  7.   2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only:

      12 So shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will light upon him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him there shall not be left so much as one.
  8.   15 But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.
  9.   11 ¶ Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
  10.   21 A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.
  11.   22 In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
  12.   9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
  13.   8 Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
  14.   24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

  18.   1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
  19.   4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
  20.   12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
  21.   7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
  22.   15 And it came to pass that when I, Jacob, had spoken these words, the power of the Lord came upon him, insomuch that he fell to the earth. And it came to pass that he was nourished for the space of many days.
  23.   11 And now king Noah was about to release him, for he feared his word; for he feared that the judgments of God would come upon him.
  24.   33 And then shall he tremble, and shall look pale, even as if death had come upon him.

      35 And then shall greater fear come upon him; and then shall he confess unto you, and deny no more that he has done this murder.
  25.   14 Continue in the spirit of meekness, and beware of pride. Let thy soul delight in thy husband, and the glory which shall come upon him.
  26.   15 But verily, thus saith the Lord, let not your flight be in haste, but let all things be prepared before you; and he that goeth, let him not look back lest sudden destruction shall come upon him.
