1. Ex. 8: 26
   26 And Moses said, It ^ais not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice ^bthe abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
2. Deut. 18: 14
   14 For these nations, which thou shalt ^apossess, hearkened unto ^bobservers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
3. Alma 61: 12
   12 We would subject ourselves to the ^ayoke of bondage if it were requisite with the justice of God, or if he should command us so to do.
4. D&C 46: 9
   9 For verily I say unto you, they are given for the benefit of those who love me and keep all my commandments, and him that seeketh so to do; that all may be benefited that seek or that ask of me, that ask and not for a ^asign that they may ^bconsume it upon their lusts.
