  1. 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the aChrist, the bSon of the cliving God.

    20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the aChrist.
  2. 63 But Jesus aheld his bpeace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I cadjure thee by the dliving God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
  3. 29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the aChrist.
  4. 61 But he held his peace, and aanswered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the bChrist, the Son of the Blessed?
  5. 26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
  6. 15 And as the people were in expectation, and all men amused in their hearts of bJohn, whether he were the Christ, or not;
  7. 20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The aChrist of God.
  8. 67 Art thou the aChrist? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
  9. 20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

    41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the aMessias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
  10. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
  11. 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
    • • •
    42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the aChrist, the bSaviour of the world.
  12. 26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the arulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
    • • •
    41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?
  13. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to adoubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
  14. 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the aSon of God, which should come into the world.
  15. 31 But these are awritten, that ye might bbelieve that Jesus is the cChrist, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have dlife through his ename.
  16. 5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the aflesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
  17. 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall areceive the breward of the cinheritance: for ye dserve the Lord Christ.
  18. 5 For there is aone God, and one bmediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
  19. 22 Who is a aliar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is bantichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
  20. 1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
  21. 12 And as I spake concerning the aconvincing of the bJews, that Jesus is the cvery Christ, it must needs be that the Gentiles be convinced also that Jesus is the Christ, the dEternal eGod;
  22. 9 And I said unto him: Deniest thou the Christ who shall come? And he said: If there should be a Christ, I would not deny him; but I know that there is no Christ, neither has been, nor ever will be.

    17 And it came to pass that on the morrow the multitude were gathered together; and he spake plainly unto them and denied the things which he had taught them, and confessed the Christ, and the power of the Holy Ghost, and the ministering of angels.

    19 And he said: I afear lest I have committed the bunpardonable sin, for I have lied unto God; for I denied the Christ, and said that I believed the scriptures; and they truly testify of him. And because I have thus lied unto God I greatly fear lest my case shall be cawful; but I confess unto God.
  23. 39 Now Alma said unto him: Will ye deny again that there is a God, and also deny the Christ? For behold, I say unto you, I know there is a God, and also that Christ shall come.
  24. 4 For behold, Nephi was baptizing, and prophesying, and preaching, crying repentance unto the people, showing signs and wonders, working amiracles among the people, that they might know that the Christ must bshortly come—
  25. 5 aWo unto him that bspurneth at the doings of the Lord; yea, wo unto him that shall cdeny the Christ and his works!
  26. 27 And it came to pass that when

    29 And again, there was another church which denied the Christ; and they did apersecute the true bchurch of Christ, because of their humility and their belief in Christ; and they did despise them because of the many miracles which were wrought among them.
  27. 21 And also that ye may abelieve the gospel of Jesus Christ, which ye shall bhave among you; and also that the cJews, the covenant people of the Lord, shall have other dwitness besides him whom they saw and heard, that Jesus, whom they slew, was the every Christ and the very God.
  28. 14 And behold, they shall go unto the aunbelieving of the bJews; and for this intent shall they go—that they may be cpersuaded that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God; that the Father may bring about, through his most Beloved, his great and eternal purpose, in restoring the Jews, or all the house of Israel, to the dland of their inheritance, which the Lord their God hath given them, unto the fulfilling of his ecovenant;
  29. 3 Then will ye longer deny the Christ, or can ye behold the Lamb of God? Do ye suppose that ye shall dwell with him under a aconsciousness of your guilt? Do ye suppose that ye could be happy to dwell with that holy Being, when your souls are racked with a consciousness of guilt that ye have ever abused his laws?
  30. 2 For behold, their awars are exceedingly fierce among themselves; and because of their bhatred they cput to death every Nephite that will not deny the Christ.
    3 And I, Moroni, will not adeny the Christ; wherefore, I wander whithersoever I can for the safety of mine own life.
  31. 44 If so, his afaith and hope is vain, for none is bacceptable before God, save the cmeek and lowly in heart; and if a man be meek and lowly in heart, and dconfesses by the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ, he must needs have charity; for if he have not charity he is nothing; wherefore he must needs have charity.
  32. 6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
