Give thanks

  1.   50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
  2.   8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
          •  •  •
      34 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
      35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
          •  •  •
      41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever;
  3.   3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
  4.   2 ¶ And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the Lord.
  5.   11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
  6.   24 And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
          •  •  •
      31 Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
          •  •  •
      38 And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
          •  •  •
      40 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:
  7.   5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
  8.   49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
  9.   4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
          •  •  •
      12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
  10.   18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
  11.   1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
  12.   13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
  13.   1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
  14.   12 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
  15.   1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
  16.   1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
          •  •  •
      47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
  17.   1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
  18.   1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
          •  •  •
      29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
  19.   62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
  20.   4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
  21.   1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
      2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
      3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
          •  •  •
      26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
  22.   13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
  23.   10 ¶ Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
  24.   36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
  25.   27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
  26.   6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.
  27.   23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
  28.   38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
  29.   16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
  30.   17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
          •  •  •
      19 ¶ And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
  31.   11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
          •  •  •
      23 (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)
  32.   35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
  33.   6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
  34.   4 Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
  35.   30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
  36.   24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
  37.   16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
      17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
  38.   16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
  39.   4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
          •  •  •
      20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
  40.   3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
          •  •  •
      12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
  41.   17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
  42.   2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
  43.   18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
  44.   13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
  45.   1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
  46.   15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
  47.   17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
  48.   7 And it came to pass that he built an altar of stones, and made an offering unto the Lord, and gave thanks unto the Lord our God.
  49.   9 And it came to pass that they did rejoice exceedingly, and did offer sacrifice and burnt offerings unto the Lord; and they gave thanks unto the God of Israel.
      10 And after they had given thanks unto the God of Israel, my father, Lehi, took the records which were engraven upon the plates of brass, and he did search them from the beginning.
  50.   22 And it came to pass that we did come down unto the tent of our father. And after I and my brethren and all the house of Ishmael had come down unto the tent of my father, they did give thanks unto the Lord their God; and they did offer sacrifice and burnt offerings unto him.
  51.   32 And it came to pass that I did return to our tents, bearing the beasts which I had slain; and now when they beheld that I had obtained food, how great was their joy! And it came to pass that they did humble themselves before the Lord, and did give thanks unto him.
  52.   52 Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts rejoice.
  53.   4 And also that they might give thanks to the Lord their God, who had brought them out of the land of Jerusalem, and who had delivered them out of the hands of their enemies, and had appointed just men to be their teachers, and also a just man to be their king, who had established peace in the land of Zarahemla, and who had taught them to keep the commandments of God, that they might rejoice and be filled with love towards God and all men.
  54.   19 And now, when Ammon had made an end of speaking these words the king rejoiced exceedingly, and gave thanks to God, saying: Doubtless a great mystery is contained within these plates, and these interpreters were doubtless prepared for the purpose of unfolding all such mysteries to the children of men.
  55.   23 And he commanded them that they should observe the sabbath day, and keep it holy, and also every day they should give thanks to the Lord their God.
  56.   22 And they gave thanks to God, yea, all their men and all their women and all their children that could speak lifted their voices in the praises of their God.
  57.   10 And again, when they thought of the immediate goodness of God, and his power in delivering Alma and his brethren out of the hands of the Lamanites and of bondage, they did raise their voices and give thanks to God.
  58.   39 And they did admonish their brethren; and they were also admonished, every one by the word of God, according to his sins, or to the sins which he had committed, being commanded of God to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in all things.
  59.   22 And it came to pass that Alma ate bread and was filled; and he blessed Amulek and his house, and he gave thanks unto God.
  60.   8 Blessed be the name of our God; let us sing to his praise, yea, let us give thanks to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever.
          •  •  •
      37 Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen.
  61.   1 Behold, now it came to pass that the people of Nephi were exceedingly rejoiced, because the Lord had again delivered them out of the hands of their enemies; therefore they gave thanks unto the Lord their God; yea, and they did fast much and pray much, and they did worship God with exceedingly great joy.
  62.   31 Condemn me not because of mine imperfection, neither my father, because of his imperfection, neither them who have written before him; but rather give thanks unto God that he hath made manifest unto you our imperfections, that ye may learn to be more wise than we have been.
  63.   32 And ye must give thanks unto God in the Spirit for whatsoever blessing ye are blessed with.
  64.   1 Verily I say unto you my friends, fear not, let your hearts be comforted; yea, rejoice evermore, and in everything give thanks;
