Write book

  1. 14 And the Lord said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a abook, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of bAmalek from under heaven.
  2. 32 Yet now, if thou wilt aforgive their sin—; and if not, bblot me, I pray thee, out of thy cbook which thou hast dwritten.
  3. 23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
  4. 18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
  5. 58 If thou wilt not aobserve to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful bname, cTHE LORD THY GOD;
    • • •
    61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
  6. 20 The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the acurses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall bblot out his name from under heaven.
    21 And the Lord shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

  7. 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou aturn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
  8. 24 ¶ And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
  9. 8 This book of the alaw shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt bmeditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
  10. 31 As Moses the servant of the Lord commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an aaltar of whole bstones, over which no man hath lift up any ciron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.

  11. 13 And the asun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of bJasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
  12. 6 Be ye therefore very acourageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;

    • • •
    24 Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the acurses that are written in the bbook which they have read before the king of Judah:

    27 And his deeds, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.

  52. 2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king aadvanced him, are they not written in the book of the bchronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
  53. 23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
  54. 35 Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
  55. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
  56. 28 Let them be blotted out of the abook of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
  57. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy abook all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
  58. 8 ¶ Now go, awrite it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
  59. 13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
  60. 2 Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
  61. 2 Take thee a aroll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this bday.
  62. 1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto aBaruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
  63. 60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these awords that are written against Babylon.
  64. 1 And at that time shall aMichael stand up, the great prince bwhich standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of ctrouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the dbook.
  65. 16 ¶ Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a abook of bremembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
  66. 4 aAs it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The bvoice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
  67. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
  68. 30 ¶ And many other asigns truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not bwritten in this book:
  69. 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be adesolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bbishoprick let another take.
  70. 42 Then God turned, and agave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
  71. 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, aCursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
  72. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
  73. 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the afirst and the last: and, What thou seest, bwrite in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto cThyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto dLaodicea.
  74. 1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book awritten within and on the backside, bsealed with seven cseals.
  75. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the abook of life of the bLamb slain from the cfoundation of the world.
  76. 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into aperdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the bbook of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
  77. 12 And I saw the adead, small and great, bstand before God; and the cbooks were opened: and another book was opened, which is the dbook of life: and the dead were ejudged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their fworks.
    • • •
    15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
  78. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that adefileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s bbook of life.
  79. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall aadd unto these things, God shall add unto him the bplagues that are written in this book:
    19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the abook of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
  80. 15 And after this manner of language did my father prophesy and speak unto my brethren, and also many more things which I do not write in this book; for I have written as many of them as were expedient for me in mine aother book.
  81. 23 Wherefore, the things which he shall write are just and true; and behold they are written in the abook which thou beheld proceeding out of the mouth of the Jew; and at the time they proceeded out of the mouth of the Jew, or, at the time the book proceeded out of the mouth of the Jew, the things which were written were plain and pure, and most bprecious and easy to the understanding of all men.
  82. 17 For thus saith the Lord God: They shall awrite the things which shall be done among them, and they shall be written and bsealed up in a book, and those who have dwindled in cunbelief shall not have them, for they dseek to destroy the things of God.
  83. 2 And the things which shall be written out of the abook shall be of great bworth unto the children of men, and especially unto our seed, which is a cremnant of the house of Israel.
  84. 3 And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall abelieve the words which are written; and bthey shall carry them forth unto the cremnant of our seed.
  85. 4 And now I, Amaron, write the things whatsoever I write, which are few, in the book of my father.
    • • •
    9 Now I, Chemish, write what few things I write, in the same book with my brother; for behold, I saw the last which he wrote, that he wrote it with his own hand; and he wrote it in the day that he delivered them unto me. And after this manner we keep the arecords, for it is according to the commandments of our fathers. And I make an end.
  86. 8 And many more things did king Benjamin teach his sons, which are not written in this book.
  87. 1 And it came to pass that after king Limhi had made an end of aspeaking to his people, for he spake many things unto them and only a few of them have I written in this book, he told his people all the things concerning their brethren who were in the land of Zarahemla.
  88. 58 For the names of the righteous shall be written in the abook of life, and unto them will I grant an inheritance at my right hand. And now, my brethren, what have ye to say against this? I say unto you, if ye speak against it, it matters not, for the word of God must be fulfilled.
  89. 34 And it came to pass that Amulek went and stood forth, and began to preach unto them also. And now the awords of Amulek are not all written, nevertheless a part of his words are written in this book.
  90. 31 And Alma spake many more words unto the people, which are not written in athis book.
  91. 14 Behold I do not mean the end of the abook of Helaman, but I mean the end of the book of Nephi, from which I have taken all the account which I have written.
  92. 8 And there had many things transpired which, in the eyes of some, would be great and marvelous; nevertheless, they cannot all be written in this book; yea, this book cannot contain even a ahundredth part of what was done among so many people in the space of twenty and five years;
  93. 17 And he did minister many things unto them; and all of them cannot be written, and a part of them would not suffice, therefore they are not written in this book. And Nephi did minister with apower and with great authority.
  94. 16 Then they that feared the Lord aspake often one to another, and the Lord hearkened and heard; and a book of bremembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
  95. 6 And now there cannot be written in this book even a ahundredth part of the things which Jesus did truly teach unto the people;
  96. 21 And it came to pass that aAmos died also, (and it was an hundred and ninety and four years from the coming of Christ) and his son Amos kept the record in his stead; and he also kept it upon the plates of Nephi; and it was also written in the book of Nephi, which is this book.
  97. 1 Behold, thou wast called and chosen to awrite the Book of Mormon, and to my ministry; and I have blifted thee up out of thine afflictions, and have counseled thee, that thou hast been delivered from all thine enemies, and thou hast been cdelivered from the powers of Satan and from ddarkness!
  98. 14 Q. What are we to understand by the little book which was aeaten by John, as mentioned in the 10th chapter of Revelation?
    A. We are to understand that it was a mission, and an ordinance, for him to bgather the tribes of Israel; behold, this is Elias, who, as it is written, must come and crestore all things.
  99. 57 And they shall remain under this condemnation until they repent and remember the new acovenant, even the bBook of Mormon and the cformer commandments which I have given them, not only to say, but to ddo according to that which I have written
  100. 5 Their names shall not be found, neither the names of the fathers, nor the names of the children written in the abook of the law of God, saith the Lord of Hosts.
    • • •
    9 And all they who are not found written in the abook of remembrance shall find none inheritance in that day, but they shall be cut asunder, and their portion shall be appointed them among bunbelievers, where are cwailing and gnashing of teeth.
    • • •
    11 And they who are of the High Priesthood, whose names are not found written in the abook of the law, or that are found to have bapostatized, or to have been ccut off from the church, as well as the lesser priesthood, or the members, in that day shall dnot find an inheritance among the saints of the Most High;
  101. 5 And behold, and lo, I acome quickly to bjudgment, to convince all of their ungodly deeds which they have committed against me, as it is written of me in the volume of the book.
  102. 57 These things were all written in the book of aEnoch, and are to be testified of in due time.
  103. 6 And further, I want you to remember that John the Revelator was contemplating this very subject in relation to the dead, when he declared, as you will find recorded in Revelation 20:12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were awritten in the books, according to their works.
    7 You will discover in this quotation that the books were opened; and another book was opened, which was the book of life; but the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works; consequently, the books spoken of must be the books which contained the record of their works, and refer to the arecords which are kept on the earth. And the book which was the bbook of life is the record which is kept in heaven; the principle agreeing precisely with the doctrine which is commanded you in the revelation contained in the letter which I wrote to you previous to my leaving my place—that in all your recordings it may be recorded in heaven.
  104. 19 And again, verily I say unto you, if a man amarry a wife by my word, which is my law, and by the new and beverlasting covenant, and it is csealed unto them by the Holy Spirit of dpromise, by him who is anointed, unto whom I have appointed this power and the ekeys of this priesthood; and it shall be said unto them—Ye shall come forth in the first resurrection; and if it be after the first resurrection, in the next resurrection; and shall inherit fthrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights and depths—then shall it be written in the Lamb’s gBook of Life, that he shall commit no hmurder whereby to shed innocent iblood, and if ye abide in my covenant, and commit no murder whereby to shed innocent blood, it shall be done unto them in all things whatsoever my servant hath put upon them, in time, and through all eternity; and shall be of full force when they are out of the world; and they shall pass by the angels, and the gods, which are set there, to their jexaltation and glory in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall be a fulness and a continuation of the kseeds forever and ever.
  105. 41 And in a day when the children of men shall esteem my words as anaught and btake many of them from the cbook which thou shalt write, behold, I will raise up another dlike unto thee; and they shall be ehad again among the children of men—among as many as shall believe.
  106. 5 And a abook of bremembrance was kept, in the which was recorded, in the clanguage of Adam, for it was given unto as many as called upon God to write by the spirit of dinspiration;
    • • •
