"Up out"

  1. 1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.
  2. 30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the amountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
  3. 28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the aIshmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
  4. 2 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.
    • • •
18 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:
  5. 25 ¶ And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father,
  6. 10 Come on, let us deal awisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there bfalleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
  7. 8 And I am come adown to bdeliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land cflowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the dCanaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
    • • •
17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the aaffliction of bEgypt unto the land of the cCanaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the dJebusites, unto a eland flowing with milk and honey.
  8. 18 But God aled the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of bIsrael went up charnessed out of the land of Egypt.
  9. 3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people amurmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
  10. 1 And when the people saw that Moses adelayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us bgods, which shall cgo before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we dwot not what is become of him.
    • • •
4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a amolten calf: and they said, bThese be thy cgods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
    • • •
8 They have aturned aside bquickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a cmolten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
    • • •
23 For they said unto me, aMake us bgods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
  11. 1 And the Lord said unto Moses, aDepart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy bseed will I give it:
  12. 45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
  13. 13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a aprince over us?
  14. 5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.
  15. 5 And the people aspake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
  16. 11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall asee the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
  17. 1 When thou goest out to abattle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and bchariots, and a people more than thou, be not cafraid of them: for the dLord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
  18. 16 Command the priests that bear the ark of the atestimony, that they come up out of Jordan.
17 Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan.
18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.
19 ¶ And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in aGilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
  19. 32 ¶ And the abones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
  20. 16 ¶ And the children of the aKenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the bcity of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.
  21. 1 And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never abreak my bcovenant with you.
  22. 21 ¶ Then the angel of the Lord put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up afire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the Lord departed out of his sight.
  23. 13 And the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my aland, when they came up out of Egypt, from bArnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably.
  24. 30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
  25. 33 And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baal-tamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.
    • • •
38 Now there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the liers in wait, that they should make a great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.
    • • •
40 But when the flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them, and, behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.
  26. 3 And this man went up out of his city ayearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the Lord of hosts in bShiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there.
  27. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
  28. 18 And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:
  29. 6 ¶ And Samuel said unto the people, It is the Lord that aadvanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
  30. 6 ¶ And Saul said unto the aKenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.
  31. 7 So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
  32. 21 And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David, and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the water: for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against you.
  33. 24 ¶ But Pharaoh’s daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which Solomon had built for her: then did he build Millo.
  34. 28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and amade two bcalves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy cgods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
  35. 15 For the Lord shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up aIsrael out of this bgood land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond cthe river, because they have made their dgroves, eprovoking the Lord to anger.
  36. 7 For so it was, that the children of Israel had asinned against the Lord their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
    • • •
36 But the Lord, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.
  37. 1 Now these are the achildren of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto bBabylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
  38. 6 These are the achildren of the province, that went up out of the bcaptivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
  39. 18 Yea, when they had made them a amolten bcalf, and said, This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;
  40. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a arock, and established my goings.
  41. 16 And there shall be aan bhighway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
  42. 18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
  43. 3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their astink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
  44. 11 Then ahe remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the bsea with the cshepherd of his dflock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within ehim?
  45. 6 Neither said they, Where is the Lord that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that aled us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
  46. 7 For I earnestly aprotested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
  47. 13 So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
  48. 2 Thus saith the Lord; Behold, awaters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
  49. 15 Moab is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts.
    • • •
44 He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the Lord.
  50. 4 But I will put ahooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
  51. 12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your agraves, and cause you to bcome up out of your graves, and cbring you into the dland of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
  52. 23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he abelieved in his God.
  53. 22 Now that being abroken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
  54. 11 Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be agathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
  55. 15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of aAchor for a door of hope: and she shall bsing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
  56. 7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
    • • •
15 And I will aplant them upon their bland, and they shall cno more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.
  57. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and aredeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
  58. 13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy ahabitation.
  59. 12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man awhose name is The bBRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:
  60. 16 And Jesus, when he was abaptized, went up bstraightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the cSpirit of God descending like a ddove, and lighting upon him:
  61. 10 And straightway coming aup out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a bdove descending upon him:
  62. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the aSpirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
  63. 1 aAnd I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the bsea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
    • • •
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
  64. 7 Yea, Joseph truly said: Thus saith the Lord unto me: A choice aseer will I braise up out of the fruit of thy loins; and he shall be esteemed highly among the fruit of thy loins. And unto him will I give commandment that he shall do a work for the fruit of thy loins, his brethren, which shall be of great worth unto them, even to the bringing of them to the cknowledge of the covenants which I have made with thy fathers.
    • • •
11 But a aseer will I raise up out of the fruit of thy loins; and unto him will I give bpower to cbring forth my word unto the seed of thy loins—and not to the bringing forth my word only, saith the Lord, but to the convincing them of my word, which shall have already gone forth among them.
  65. 16 And there shall be a ahighway for the remnant of his people which shall be left, from Assyria, like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
  66. 20 And now, my brethren, I have spoken plainly that ye cannot err. And as the Lord God liveth that abrought Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and gave unto Moses power that he should bheal the nations after they had been bitten by the poisonous serpents, if they would cast their eyes unto the cserpent which he did raise up before them, and also gave him power that he should smite the drock and the water should come forth; yea, behold I say unto you, that as these things are etrue, and as the Lord God liveth, there is none other fname given under heaven save it be this Jesus Christ, of which I have spoken, whereby man can be saved.
  67. 9 And he said unto them: Behold, I am aLimhi, the son of Noah, who was the son of Zeniff, who came up out of the bland of Zarahemla to inherit this land, which was the land of their fathers, who was made a cking by the dvoice of the people.
    • • •
13 For I am assured that if ye had known me ye would not have suffered that I should have worn these bands. For I am Ammon, and am a adescendant of Zarahemla, and have come up out of the bland of Zarahemla to inquire concerning our brethren, whom cZeniff brought up out of that land.
  68. 2 And he caused that Ammon should stand up before the multitude, and rehearse unto them all that had happened unto their brethren from the time that aZeniff went up out of the land even until the time that he bhimself came up out of the land.
  69. 3 And now, O king, if thou wilt spare our lives, we will be thy servants. And the king said unto them: Arise, for I will grant unto you your lives, and I will not suffer that ye shall be my servants; but I will insist that ye shall administer unto me; for I have been somewhat atroubled in mind because of the bgenerosity and the greatness of the words of thy brother Ammon; and I desire to know the cause why he has not come up out of Middoni with thee.
  70. 9 For if we had not come up out of the land of Zarahemla, these our dearly beloved brethren, who have so dearly beloved us, would still have been racked with ahatred against us, yea, and they would also have been bstrangers to God.
  71. 4 And he caused that they should build a abreastwork of timbers upon the inner bank of the ditch; and they cast up dirt out of the ditch against the breastwork of timbers; and thus they did cause the Lamanites to labor until they had encircled the city of Bountiful round about with a strong wall of timbers and earth, to an exceeding height.
  72. 12 And he came up out of the water and began to baptize. And he baptized all those whom Jesus had chosen.
13 And it came to pass when they were all baptized and had come aup out of the water, the bHoly Ghost did fall upon them, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
  73. 24 For behold, ye shall be as a awhale in the midst of the sea; for the mountain waves shall dash upon you. Nevertheless, I will bring you up again out of the depths of the sea; for the bwinds have gone forth cout of my mouth, and also the drains and the floods have I sent forth.
  74. 1 Behold, thou wast called and chosen to awrite the Book of Mormon, and to my ministry; and I have blifted thee up out of thine afflictions, and have counseled thee, that thou hast been delivered from all thine enemies, and thou hast been cdelivered from the powers of Satan and from ddarkness!
  75. 14 There also came aup a land out of the depth of the sea, and so great was the fear of the enemies of the people of God, that they fled and stood afar off and went upon the land which came up out of the depth of the sea.
  76. 73 Immediately on our coming up out of the water after we had been baptized, we experienced great and glorious blessings from our Heavenly Father. No sooner had I baptized Oliver Cowdery, than the Holy Ghost fell upon him, and he stood up and aprophesied many things which should shortly come to pass. And again, so soon as I had been baptized by him, I also had the spirit of prophecy, when, standing up, I prophesied concerning the rise of this Church, and many other things connected with the Church, and this generation of the children of men. We were filled with the Holy Ghost, and rejoiced in the God of our salvation.
