"According to his will"

  1. 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as anothing: and he doeth according to his bwill in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can cstay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
  2. 4 I saw the ram apushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he bdid according to his will, and became great.
  3. 3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do aaccording to his will.
    • • •
16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
    • • •
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the aGod of gods, and shall prosper till the bindignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
  4. 2 The Lord hath also a acontroversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
  5. 47 And that aservant, which knew his lord’s bwill, and cprepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
  6. 4 God also bearing them witness, both with asigns and bwonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own cwill?
  7. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his awill, he bheareth us:
  8. 12 Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all athings according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise bfaith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him.
  9. 38 Now, he says that the Lord has talked with him, and also that aangels have ministered unto him. But behold, we know that he lies unto us; and he tells us these things, and he worketh many things by his cunning arts, that he may deceive our eyes, thinking, perhaps, that he may lead us away into some strange wilderness; and after he has led us away, he has thought to make himself a king and a ruler over us, that he may do with us according to his will and pleasure. And after this manner did my brother Laman bstir up their hearts to canger.
  10. 22 For behold, the Lord God has aled away from time to time from the house of Israel, according to his will and pleasure. And now behold, the Lord remembereth all them who have been broken off, wherefore he remembereth us also.
  11. 9 For behold, by the power of his aword bman came upon the face of the earth, which earth was ccreated by the power of his word. Wherefore, if God being able to speak and the world was, and to speak and man was created, O then, why not able to command the dearth, or the workmanship of his hands upon the face of it, according to his will and pleasure?
  12. 14 And it came to pass that the Lord of the vineyard went his way, and hid the natural abranches of the tame olive-tree in the nethermost parts of the vineyard, some in one and some in another, according to his will and pleasure.
  13. 7 And I do this for a awise bpurpose; for thus it whispereth me, according to the workings of the Spirit of the Lord which is in me. And now, I do not know all things; but the Lord cknoweth all things which are to come; wherefore, he dworketh in me to do according to his ewill.
  14. 33 But if ye will aturn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in him, and serve him with all bdiligence of mind, if ye do this, he will, according to his own will and pleasure, deliver you out of bondage.
  15. 17 Then is the time when their torments shall be as a alake of fire and brimstone, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever; and then is the time that they shall be chained down to an everlasting destruction, according to the power and captivity of Satan, he having subjected them according to his will.
  16. 20 And as Ammon entered the land of Ishmael, the Lamanites took him and abound him, as was their custom to bind all the Nephites who fell into their hands, and carry them before the king; and thus it was left to the pleasure of the king to slay them, or to retain them in captivity, or to cast them into prison, or to cast them out of his land, according to his will and pleasure.
  17. 34 Now, Moroni being a man who was aappointed by the chief judges and the voice of the people, therefore he had power according to his will with the armies of the Nephites, to establish and to exercise authority over them.
  18. 68 Therefore, asanctify yourselves that your bminds become csingle to God, and the days will come that you shall dsee him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will.
