"Mighty God"

  1. 24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
  2. 21 Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.
  3. 1 The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
  4. 2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
    • • •
    5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
  5. 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
  6. 21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
  7. 18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, is his name,
  8. 12 ¶ Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
  9. 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
  10. 17 But thus saith the Lord: Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for the Mighty God shall deliver his covenant people. For thus saith the Lord: I will contend with them that contendeth with thee—
  11. 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
  12. 21 The remnant shall return, yea, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
  13. 68 O Lord, remember thy servant, Joseph Smith, Jun., and all his afflictions and persecutions—how he has covenanted with Jehovah, and vowed to thee, O Mighty God of Jacob—and the commandments which thou hast given unto him, and that he hath sincerely striven to do thy will.
