Into the mountains

  1. 17 ¶ And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:
  2. 40 ¶ And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the Lord hath promised: for we have sinned.
  3. 24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.
  4. 49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
  5. 34 And the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not suffer them to come down to the valley:
  6. 29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel.
  7. 9 ¶ O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
  8. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
  9. 1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
  10. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
  11. 29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
  12. 1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
  13. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
  14. 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
  15. 16 ¶ Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
  16. 13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
  17. 46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
  18. 2 ¶ And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
  19. 5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
  20. 12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
  21. 28 ¶ And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
  22. 3 And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

    15 ¶ When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
  23. 1 For it came to pass after I had desired to know the things that my father had seen, and believing that the Lord was able to make them known unto me, as I sat pondering in mine heart I was caught away in the Spirit of the Lord, yea, into an exceedingly high mountain, which I never had before seen, and upon which I never had before set my foot.
  24. 30 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, did go forth up into the top of the mountain, according to the directions which were given upon the ball.
  25. 7 And it came to pass that after I, Nephi, had been in the land of Bountiful for the space of many days, the voice of the Lord came unto me, saying: Arise, and get thee into the mountain. And it came to pass that I arose and went up into the mountain, and cried unto the Lord.
  26. 25 And they did commit murder and plunder; and then they would retreat back into the mountains, and into the wilderness and secret places, hiding themselves that they could not be discovered, receiving daily an addition to their numbers, inasmuch as there were dissenters that went forth unto them.
  27. 17 And it came to pass in the commencement of the fourteenth year, the war between the robbers and the people of Nephi did continue and did become exceedingly sore; nevertheless, the people of Nephi did gain some advantage of the robbers, insomuch that they did drive them back out of their lands into the mountains and into their secret places.
  28. 1 The words of God, which he spake unto Moses at a time when Moses was caught up into an exceedingly high mountain,
  29. 13 Then let them who are in Judea flee into the mountains;
