Consuming of flesh

  1. 12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother’s womb.
  2. 21 ¶ Then the angel of the Lord put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the Lord departed out of his sight.
  3. 21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
  4. 11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
  5. 10 Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
  6. 12 ¶ And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
  7. 48 And now it came to pass that when I had spoken these words they were angry with me, and were desirous to throw me into the depths of the sea; and as they came forth to lay their hands upon me I spake unto them, saying: In the name of the Almighty God, I command you that ye touch me not, for I am filled with the power of God, even unto the consuming of my flesh; and whoso shall lay his hands upon me shall wither even as a dried reed; and he shall be as naught before the power of God, for God shall smite him.
  8. 21 He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh.
  9. 17 And again, the hearts of the Jews unto the prophets, and the prophets unto the Jews; lest I come and smite the whole earth with a curse, and all flesh be consumed before me.
