  1. 4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
  2. 3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
  3. 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
  4. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
  5. 20 The power and authority of the lesser, or Aaronic Priesthood, is to hold the keys of the ministering of angels, and to administer in outward ordinances, the letter of the gospel, the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, agreeable to the covenants and commandments.
