Thou wast

  1.   11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
  2.   10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
  3.   13 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
  4.   15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
  5.   15 And thou shalt aremember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
  6.   12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a abondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
  7.   7 ¶ Thou shalt not abhor an aEdomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a bstranger in his land.
  8.   18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a abondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
          •  •  •
22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
  9.   18 How he met thee by the way, and asmote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
  10.   60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the adiseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.
  11.   2 And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.
  12.   17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the Lord aanointed thee king over Israel?
  13.   25 How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
  14.   2 Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
  15.   2 And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.
  16.   21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?
  17.   8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
  18.   5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
  19.   1 aAnd bin that day thou shalt say, O Lord, cI will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
  20.   3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
  21.   1 Woe to thee that aspoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest btreacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
  22.   4 Since thou wast aprecious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
  23.   6 For the Lord hath called thee as a awoman bforsaken and grieved in spirit, and a cwife of youth, dwhen thou wast refused, saith thy God.
  24.   10 Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no ahope: thou hast found the blife of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
  25.   36 Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be aashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.
  26.   24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the Lord.
  27.   4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast aborn thy bnavel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to csupple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
5 None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
6 ¶ And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.
7 I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and awaxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast bnaked and bare.
          •  •  •
13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.
          •  •  •
22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
          •  •  •
28 Thou hast played the whore also with the aAssyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.
29 Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.
          •  •  •
47 Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
  28.   30 Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.
  29.   13 In thy afilthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be bpurged from thy filthiness any more, till cI have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
  30.   25 The aships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
  31.   13 Thou hast been in aEden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed acherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
  32.   11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as aone of them.
  33.   69 ¶ Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a adamsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
  34.   67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
  35.   48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
  36.   34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
  37.   18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be aold, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
  38.   9 And they asung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast bredeemed us to God by thy blood out of every ckindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
  39.   1 And now I speak unto you, Joseph, my alast-born. Thou wast born in the wilderness of mine afflictions; yea, in the days of my greatest sorrow did thy mother bear thee.
  40.   1 aAnd in that day thou shalt say: O Lord, I will praise thee; though thou wast angry with me thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedest me.
  41.   3 And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall give thee arest, from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.
  42.   15 Holy, holy God; we believe that thou art God, and we believe that thou art holy, and that thou wast a aspirit, and that thou art a spirit, and that thou wilt be a spirit forever.
  43.   4 For he said: Thou art merciful, O God, for thou hast heard my prayer, even when I was ain the wilderness; yea, thou wast merciful when I prayed concerning those who were mine benemies, and thou didst turn them to me.
5 Yea, O God, and thou wast merciful unto me when I did cry unto thee in my afield; when I did cry unto thee in my prayer, and thou didst hear me.
  44.   4 For I know that thou wast in bonds; yea, and I also know that thou wast stoned for the word’s sake; and thou didst bear all these things with apatience because the Lord was bwith thee; and now thou knowest that the Lord did deliver thee.
  45.   4 Yea, she did asteal away the hearts of many; but this was no excuse for thee, my son. Thou shouldst have tended to the ministry wherewith thou wast entrusted.
  46.   6 For the Lord hath called thee aas a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
  47.   9 Behold, thou art Joseph, and thou wast chosen to do the work of the Lord, but because of transgression, if thou art not aware thou wilt afall.
  48.   1 Behold, thou wast called and chosen to awrite the Book of Mormon, and to my ministry; and I have blifted thee up out of thine afflictions, and have counseled thee, that thou hast been delivered from all thine enemies, and thou hast been cdelivered from the powers of Satan and from ddarkness!
  49.   4 Thou art blessed, for thou shalt do great things. Behold thou wast sent forth, even as aJohn, to prepare the way before me, and before bElijah which should come, and thou knewest it not.
  50.   4 Saying: Father, behold the asufferings and bdeath of him who did no csin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be dglorified;
  51.   17 And I, the Lord God, said unto Adam: Who told thee thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat, if so thou shouldst surely adie?
          •  •  •
25 By the asweat of thy bface shalt thou eat bread, until thou shalt return unto the ground—for thou shalt surely die—for out of it wast thou taken: for cdust thou wast, and unto dust shalt thou return.
  52.   24 For from this time forth thou shalt be the father of his alies; thou shalt be called bPerdition; for thou wast also cbefore the world.
  53.   23 And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast achosen before thou wast born.
