Oh, my soul, almost as it were, fleeth at the thought. Behold, he did not exercise his justice upon us, but inhisgreat mercy hath brought us over that everlasting gulf of death and misery, even to the salvation of our souls.

But behold, the Lord inhisgreat mercy sent his angel to declare unto me that I must stop the work of destruction among his people; yea, and I have seen an angel face to face, and he spake with me, and his voice was as thunder, and it shook the whole earth.

And thus we can behold how false, and also the unsteadiness of the hearts of the children of men; yea, we can see that the Lord inhisgreat infinite goodness doth bless and prosper those who put their trust in him.

And may God grant, inhisgreat
fulness, that men might be brought unto repentance and good works, that
they might be restored unto grace for grace, according to their works.
