"O Lord my God"

  1. 7 And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
  2. 28 Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:
  3. 20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
    21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.
  4. 17 And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O Lord my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.
  5. 19 Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee:
  6. 1 O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

    3 O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
  7. 3 Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
  8. 2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

    12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
  9. 24 Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
  10. 15 For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

    21 Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.
  11. 5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
  12. 12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
  13. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
  14. 26 Help me, O Lord my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
  15. 6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.
  16. 12 ¶ Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
  17. 1 To seal the testimony of this book and the Book of Mormon, we announce the martyrdom of Joseph Smith the Prophet, and Hyrum Smith the Patriarch. They were shot in Carthage jail, on the 27th of June, 1844, about five o’clock p.m., by an armed mob—painted black—of from 150 to 200 persons. Hyrum was shot first and fell calmly, exclaiming: I am a dead man! Joseph leaped from the window, and was shot dead in the attempt, exclaiming: O Lord my God! They were both shot after they were dead, in a brutal manner, and both received four balls.
