O ye

  1.   3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
  2.   1 aGive ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and bhear, O earth, the cwords of my mouth.
          •  •  •
43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will aavenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be bmerciful unto his land, and to his people.
  3.   3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the Lord; I will sing praise to the Lord God of Israel.
  4.   9 Be strong, and aquit yourselves like bmen, O ye Philistines, that ye be not cservants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.
  5.   13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
  6.   5 O that ye would altogether ahold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
  7.   21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my afriends; for the bhand of God hath touched me.
  8.   2 Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
  9.   10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
  10.   2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into ashame? how long will ye love bvanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
  11.   7 aLift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall bcome in.
          •  •  •
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
  12.   1 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
  13.   4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
  14.   1 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for apraise is comely for the upright.
  15.   1 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye ajudge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
  16.   7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
  17.   6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
  18.   1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
  19.   1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.
  20.   7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
  21.   24 ¶ Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
  22.   5 O ye asimple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding bheart.
          •  •  •
32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
  23.   5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
  24.   7 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
  25.   5 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
          •  •  •
11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
  26.   9 ¶ aAssociate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
  27.   13 ¶ The aburden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
  28.   12 ¶ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall abeat off bfrom the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be cgathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
  29.   23 aSing, O ye heavens; for the Lord hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into bsinging, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath credeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
  30.   8 Remember this, and shew yourselves amen: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.
  31.   12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord.
  32.   1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the anorth, and great destruction.
  33.   20 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
  34.   10 ¶ Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will agather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
  35.   19 ¶ The Lord hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into aEgypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.
  36.   28 O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the hole’s mouth.
  37.   30 ¶ Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the Lord; for aNebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
  38.   11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;
  39.   44 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have wrought with you for my name’s sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord God.
  40.   20 ¶ Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will ajudge you every one after his ways.
  41.   9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
  42.   4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
  43.   6 And thou shalt say to the arebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
  44.   11 Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
  45.   11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for aNazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the Lord.
  46.   5 And offer a sacrifice of athanksgiving with bleaven, and proclaim and publish the cfree offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord God.
  47.   4 ¶ Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
  48.   4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your acieled houses, and this house lie waste?
  49.   2 Howl, afir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye boaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
  50.   1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

  51.   30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, ashall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little bfaith?
  52.   26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye afearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and brebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
  53.   3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and alowring, O ye bhypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the csigns of the dtimes?
          •  •  •
8 aWhich when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
  54.   28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; ahow much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
  55.   42 Then God turned, and agave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
  56.   14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or awicked blewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:
  57.   11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is aenlarged.
  58.   1 aAnd again: Hearken, O ye house of Israel, all ye that are broken off and are driven out because of the wickedness of the pastors of my people; yea, all ye that are broken off, that are scattered abroad, who are of my people, O house of Israel. Listen, O bisles, unto me, and hearken ye people from cfar; the Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
  59.   13 O that ye would awake; awake from a deep asleep, yea, even from the sleep of bhell, and shake off the awful cchains by which ye are bound, which are the chains which bind the children of men, that they are carried away captive down to the eternal dgulf of misery and woe.
  60.   10 O ye wicked ones, enter into the rock, and ahide thee in the dust, for the fear of the Lord and the glory of his majesty shall smite thee.
  61.   9 aAssociate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear all ye of far countries; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
  62.   5 O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have acursed them, and have bhated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.
  63.   16 O that he would rid you from this iniquity and abomination. And, O that ye would listen unto the word of his commands, and let not this apride of your hearts destroy your souls!
  64.   2 O all ye that are pure in heart, lift up your heads and receive the pleasing word of God, and feast upon his alove; for ye may, if your bminds are cfirm, forever.
  65.   2 Hearken, O ye house of Israel, and hear the words of me, a prophet of the Lord.
  66.   40 O, all ye aold men, and also ye young men, and you little children who can understand my words, for I have spoken plainly unto you that ye might understand, I pray that ye should awake to a bremembrance of the awful situation of those that have fallen into transgression.
  67.   18 And it came to pass that when they had gathered themselves together that he aspake unto them in this wise, saying: O ye, my people, lift up your heads and be comforted; for behold, the time is at hand, or is not far distant, when we shall no longer be in subjection to our enemies, notwithstanding our many strugglings, which have been in vain; yet I trust there bremaineth an effectual struggle to be made.
  68.   5 Behold, O ye my people, or my brethren, for I esteem you as such, I desire that ye should consider the cause which ye are called to aconsider—for ye are desirous to have a king.
  69.   37 O ye workers of iniquity; ye that are apuffed up in the vain things of the world, ye that have professed to have known the ways of righteousness nevertheless have gone bastray, as csheep having no dshepherd, notwithstanding a shepherd hath ecalled after you and is still calling after you, but ye will not fhearken unto his voice!
  70.   8 Behold, O ye wicked and perverse ageneration, how have ye forgotten the btradition of your fathers; yea, how soon ye have forgotten the commandments of God.
  71.   17 Now they knew not that Amulek could aknow of their designs. But it came to pass as they began to question him, he bperceived their thoughts, and he said unto them: O ye wicked and perverse cgeneration, ye lawyers and hypocrites, for ye are laying the foundations of the devil; for ye are laying dtraps and snares to catch the holy ones of God.
          •  •  •
25 But Amulek stretched forth his hand, and cried the mightier unto them, saying: O ye wicked and perverse generation, why hath Satan got such great hold upon your hearts? Why will ye yield yourselves unto him that he may have power over you, to ablind your eyes, that ye will not understand the words which are spoken, according to their truth?
  72.   13 O ye that are bound down under a afoolish and a vain hope, why do ye yoke yourselves with such foolish things? Why do ye look for a Christ? For no man can bknow of anything which is to come.
  73.   17 O repent ye, repent ye! aWhy will ye die? Turn ye, turn ye unto the Lord your God. Why has he forsaken you?
  74.   21 But Nephi said unto them: O ye afools, ye uncircumcised of heart, ye blind, and ye bstiffnecked people, do ye know how long the Lord your God will suffer you that ye shall go on in this your way of sin?
22 O ye ought to begin to howl and amourn, because of the great destruction which at this time doth await you, except ye shall repent.
  75.   29 O ye wicked and ye perverse generation; ye hardened and ye astiffnecked people, how long will ye suppose that the Lord will suffer you? Yea, how long will ye suffer yourselves to be led by bfoolish and cblind guides? Yea, how long will ye dchoose darkness rather than elight?
          •  •  •
39 O ye people of the land, that ye would hear my words! And I pray that the anger of the Lord be turned away from you, and that ye would repent and be saved.
  76.   13 O all ye that are aspared because ye were more brighteous than they, will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may cheal you?
  77.   4 O ye people of these agreat cities which have fallen, who are descendants of Jacob, yea, who are of the house of Israel, how oft have I bgathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and have cnourished you.
5 And again, how oft would I have gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, yea, O aye people of the house of Israel, who have fallen; yea, O ye people of the house of Israel, ye that dwell at Jerusalem, as ye that have fallen; yea, how oft would I have gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens, and ye would not.
6 O ye house of Israel whom I have aspared, how oft will I gather you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, if ye will repent and breturn unto me with full purpose of cheart.
  78.   1 Hearken, O ye Gentiles, and hear the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, which he hath acommanded me that I should speak concerning you, for, behold he commandeth me that I should write, saying:
  79.   22 And then, O ye Gentiles, how can ye stand before the power of God, except ye shall repent and turn from your evil ways?
  80.   17 aO ye fair ones, how could ye have departed from the ways of the Lord! O ye fair ones, how could ye have rejected that Jesus, who stood with open arms to receive you!
          •  •  •
19 O ye afair sons and daughters, ye fathers and mothers, ye husbands and wives, ye fair ones, how is it that ye could have bfallen!
          •  •  •
22 O that ye had repented before this great adestruction had come upon you. But behold, ye are gone, and the Father, yea, the Eternal Father of heaven, bknoweth your state; and he doeth with you according to his cjustice and dmercy.
  81.   33 O ye wicked and perverse and astiffnecked people, why have ye built up churches unto yourselves to get bgain? Why have ye ctransfigured the holy word of God, that ye might bring ddamnation upon your souls? Behold, look ye unto the erevelations of God; for behold, the time cometh at that day when all these things must be fulfilled.
          •  •  •
38 O ye pollutions, ye hypocrites, ye teachers, who sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Why are ye aashamed to take upon you the name of Christ? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of an endless happiness than that bmisery which never dies—because of the cpraise of the world?
  82.   6 O then ye aunbelieving, bturn ye unto the Lord; cry mightily unto the Father in the name of Jesus, that perhaps ye may be found spotless, cpure, fair, and white, having been cleansed by the blood of the dLamb, at that great and last day.
          •  •  •
15 And now, O all ye that have imagined up unto yourselves a god who can do ano miracles, I would ask of you, have all these things passed, of which I have spoken? Has the end come yet? Behold I say unto you, Nay; and God has not ceased to be a God of miracles.
  83.   11 And this cometh unto you, O ye aGentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God—that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fulness come, that ye may not bring down the fulness of the bwrath of God upon you as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.
  84.   13 aCome unto me, O ye Gentiles, and I will show unto you the greater things, the knowledge which is hid up because of unbelief.
14 Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made amanifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.
  85.   23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get apower and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of bdestruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.
  86.   1 aHearken, O ye people of my bchurch, saith the voice of him who dwells on high, and whose ceyes are upon all men; yea, verily I say: Hearken ye people from afar; and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, listen together.
          •  •  •
7 Wherefore, afear and btremble, O ye people, for what I the Lord have cdecreed in them shall be dfulfilled.
  87.   2 Therefore, O ye that embark in the aservice of God, see that ye bserve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand cblameless before God at the last day.
  88.   1 Hearken and ahear, O ye my people, saith the Lord and your God, ye whom I delight to bless with the greatest of all bblessings, ye that hear me; and ye that hear me not will I ccurse, that have dprofessed my ename, with the heaviest of all cursings.
      2 Hearken, O ye elders of my church whom I have called, behold I give unto you a commandment, that ye shall assemble yourselves together to aagree upon my word;
  89.   1 Hearken, O ye elders of my achurch, who have assembled yourselves together in my name, even Jesus Christ the Son of the living God, the Savior of the world; inasmuch as ye believe on my name and keep my commandments.
  90.   1 O hearken, ye elders of my church, and give ear to the words which I shall speak unto you.
          •  •  •
23 And again, the Lord shall utter his voice out of heaven, saying: Hearken, O ye nations of the earth, and hear the words of that God who amade you.
24 O, ye nations of the earth, how often would I have gathered you together as a ahen gathereth her chickens under her wings, but ye bwould not!
  91.   1 Hearken, O ye people of my achurch, to whom the bkingdom has been given; hearken ye and give ear to him who laid the foundation of the earth, who cmade the heavens and all the dhosts thereof, and by whom all things were made which elive, and move, and have a being.
          •  •  •
      6 Hearken, O ye people of my church, and ye elders listen together, and hear my voice while it is called atoday, and harden not your hearts;
  92.   1 Hearken, O ye people of my church; for verily I say unto you that these things were spoken unto you for your aprofit and learning.
  93.   1 Hearken, O ye elders of my church, and give ear to the avoice of the living God; and attend to the words of wisdom which shall be given unto you, according as ye have asked and are agreed as touching the church, and the bspirits which have gone abroad in the earth.
  94.   1 Hearken, O ye people who aprofess my name, saith the Lord your God; for behold, mine anger is bkindled against the rebellious, and they shall know mine arm and mine indignation, in the day of cvisitation and of wrath upon the nations.
  95.   1 Hearken, O ye elders of my church, saith the Lord your God, who have assembled yourselves together, according to my commandments, in this land, which is the land of aMissouri, which is the bland which I have appointed and cconsecrated for the dgathering of the saints.
  96.   1 Hearken, O ye elders of my church, and give aear to my word, and learn of me what I will concerning you, and also concerning bthis land unto which I have sent you.
  97.   2 Behold, verily thus saith the Lord unto you, O ye elders of my church, who are assembled upon this spot, whose sins are now forgiven you, for I, the Lord, aforgive sins, and am bmerciful unto those who cconfess their sins with humble hearts;
  98.   1 Behold, and hearken, O ye elders of my church, saith the Lord your God, even Jesus Christ, your aadvocate, who knoweth the weakness of man and how to bsuccor them who are ctempted.
  99.   1 Hearken, O ye people, and open your hearts and give ear from afar; and listen, you that call yourselves the apeople of the Lord, and hear the word of the Lord and his will concerning you.
  100.   1 Behold, thus saith the Lord your God unto you, O ye elders of my achurch, hearken ye and hear, and receive my will concerning you.

  101.   1 Behold and hearken, O ye aelders of my church, who have assembled yourselves together, whose bprayers I have heard, and whose chearts I know, and whose desires have come up before me.
  102.   5 Behold, this is the promise of the Lord unto you, O ye my servants.
  103.   1 Behold, and hearken, O ye inhabitants of Zion, and all ye people of my church who are afar off, and ahear the word of the Lord which I give unto my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and also unto my servant Martin Harris, and also unto my servant Oliver Cowdery, and also unto my servant John Whitmer, and also unto my servant Sidney Rigdon, and also unto my servant bWilliam W. Phelps, by the way of commandment unto them.
  104.   1 Hearken, and listen to the voice of the Lord, O ye who have assembled yourselves together, who are the ahigh priests of my church, to whom the bkingdom and power have been given.
  105.   2 Hearken, O ye who have agiven your names to go forth to proclaim my gospel, and to bprune my vineyard.
          •  •  •
23 And again, thus saith the Lord unto you, O ye elders of my church, who have agiven your names that you might know his will concerning you—
  106.   1 aHear, O ye heavens, and give ear, O earth, and rejoice ye inhabitants thereof, for the Lord is bGod, and beside him there is cno dSavior.
  107.   11 Awake, O kings of the earth! Come ye, O, come ye, with your agold and your silver, to the help of my people, to the house of the daughters of Zion.
  108.   1 Hearken, O ye people of my church, saith the Lord your God, and hear the word of the Lord concerning you—
          •  •  •
4 Wherefore, prepare ye, prepare ye, O my people; sanctify yourselves; gather ye together, O ye people of my church, upon the land of Zion, all you that have not been commanded to atarry.
          •  •  •
16 Hearken and hear, O ye inhabitants of the earth. aListen, ye elders of my church together, and hear the voice of the Lord; for he calleth upon all men, and he commandeth all men everywhere to brepent.
  109.   41 Now, therefore, hearken, O ye people of my achurch; and ye elders listen together; you have received my bkingdom.
  110.
