But also thou shalt not cutoff thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the Lord hath cutoff the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.

Yea, and if it had not been for his matchless power, and his mercy, and his along-suffering towards us, we should unavoidably have been cutofffrom the face of the earth long before this period of time, and perhaps been consigned to a state of bendless misery and woe.

But behold, it was appointed unto man to adie—therefore, as they were cutofffrom the tree of life they should be cutofffrom the face of the earth—and man became blost forever, yea, they became cfallen man.
