They themselves

  1.   11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.
  2.   11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with ablindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
  3.   6 Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.
7 And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.
  4.   26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
  5.   2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the aholy things of the children of Israel, and that they bprofane not my holy name in those things cwhich they hallow unto me: I am the Lord.
  6.   3 And they gathered themselves together against aMoses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is bamong them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?
  7.   2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.
  8.   2 That they gathered themselves together, to fight with Joshua and with Israel, with one accord.
  9.   1 And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.
  10.   22 And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day.
  11.   15 ¶ And when the Syrians saw that they were smitten before Israel, they gathered themselves together.
  12.   12 And it came to pass, when Ben-hadad heard this message, as he was drinking, he and the kings in the apavilions, that he said unto his servants, Set yourselves in array. And they set themselves in array against the city.
  13.   14 And they set themselves in the midst of that parcel, and delivered it, and slew the Philistines; and the Lord saved them by a great deliverance.
  14.   11 And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array against the children of Ammon.
  15.   37 Yet if they abethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;
  16.   3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and aworshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
  17.   7 And when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
  18.   10 So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.
  19.   26 ¶ And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of aBerachah, unto this day.
  20.   18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:
  21.   2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
  22.   14 They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
  23.   3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.
  24.   25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
  25.   16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
  26.   6 They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they await for my soul.
  27.   5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares aprivily; they say, Who shall bsee them?
  28.   21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
  29.   22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
  30.   28 They joined themselves also unto aBaal-peor, and bate the sacrifices cof the dead.
  31.   8 Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
  32.   18 I said in mine heart concerning the aestate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are bbeasts.
  33.   3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
  34.   6 ¶ Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they abe replenished from the east, and are bsoothsayers like the Philistines, and they cplease themselves in the children of strangers.
  35.   2 For they call themselves of the aholy city, and bstay themselves upon the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is his name.
  36.   6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
  37.   4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy asons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
  38.   23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their aidols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will bsave them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will ccleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
  39.   14 And they have not acried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
  40.   8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
  41.   3 And though they ahide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
  42.   4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
  43.   18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
          •  •  •
28 ¶ Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the apassover.
  44.   26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they aassembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called bChristians first in cAntioch.
  45.   6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he ashook his raiment, and said unto them, Your bblood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
  46.   25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to aidols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from bfornication.
  47.   15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a aresurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
  48.   40 And when they had ataken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
  49.   12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
  50.   13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

  51.   9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from aidols to serve the bliving and true God;
  52.   19 While they promise them aliberty, they themselves are the bservants of ccorruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in dbondage.
  53.   10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
  54.   2 Nevertheless, they call themselves of the aholy city, but they do bnot stay themselves upon the God of Israel, who is the Lord of Hosts; yea, the Lord of Hosts is his name.
  55.   6 Therefore, O Lord, thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and hearken unto asoothsayers like the bPhilistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
  56.   10 And when these things have passed away a speedy adestruction cometh unto my people; for, notwithstanding the pains of my soul, I have seen it; wherefore, I know that it shall come to pass; and they sell themselves for naught; for, for the reward of their pride and their bfoolishness they shall reap destruction; for because they yield unto the devil and cchoose works of ddarkness rather than light, therefore they must go down to ehell.
  57.   18 For behold he judgeth, and his judgment is just; and the infant perisheth not that dieth in his infancy; but men drink adamnation to their own souls except they humble themselves and bbecome as little children, and believe that csalvation was, and is, and is to come, in and through the datoning blood of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent.
  58.   11 And it came to pass that the people of Limhi began to drive the Lamanites before them; yet they were not half so numerous as the Lamanites. But they afought for their lives, and for their bwives, and for their children; therefore they exerted themselves and like dragons did they fight.
  59.   7 And they gathered themselves together again, and put on their armor, and went forth against the Lamanites to drive them out of their land.
          •  •  •
31 Yea, they did mourn for their departure, for they knew not whither they had fled. Now they would have gladly joined with them, for they themselves had entered into a acovenant with God to serve him and keep his commandments.
  60.   39 Therefore, it came to pass that they assembled themselves together in bodies throughout the land, to cast in their avoices concerning who should be their bjudges, to judge them according to the claw which had been given them; and they were exceedingly rejoiced because of the dliberty which had been granted unto them.
  61.   9 And it came to pass that they gathered themselves together, and did aconsecrate Amlici to be their king.
  62.   13 And behold, he apreached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their btrust in the true and cliving God. And behold, they were faithful until the dend; therefore they were saved.
  63.   13 And it came to pass when they had arrived in the borders of the land of the Lamanites, that they aseparated themselves and departed one from another, trusting in the Lord that they should meet again at the close of their bharvest; for they supposed that great was the work which they had undertaken.
          •  •  •
17 Therefore they separated themselves one from another, and went forth among them, every man alone, according to the word and power of God which was given unto him.
  64.   3 Now this people aagain refused to take their arms, and they suffered themselves to be slain according to the desires of their enemies.
  65.   1 Now it came to pass that after Amulek had made an end of these words, they withdrew themselves from the multitude and came over into the land of aJershon.
  66.   16 But behold, it came to pass they had many asons, who had not entered into a covenant that they would not take their weapons of war to defend themselves against their enemies; therefore they did assemble themselves together at this time, as many as were able to take up arms, and they called themselves Nephites.
  67.   12 And they did aland upon the shore of the bpromised land. And when they had set their feet upon the shores of the promised land they bowed themselves down upon the face of the land, and did humble themselves before the Lord, and did shed tears of joy before the Lord, because of the multitude of his ctender mercies over them.
  68.   27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their aweakness. I bgive unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my cgrace is sufficient for all men that dhumble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make eweak things become strong unto them.
  69.   75 But if ye shall find that any persons have left their companions for the sake of aadultery, and they themselves are the offenders, and their companions are living, they shall be bcast out from among you.
  70.   2 And it shall come to pass, that inasmuch as they are faithful, and exercise faith in me, I will pour out my aSpirit upon them in the day that they assemble themselves together.
  71.   10 That they themselves may be prepared, and that my people may be ataught more perfectly, and have experience, and know more perfectly concerning their bduty, and the things which I require at their hands.
  72.   20 Their abasket shall not be full, their houses and their barns shall perish, and they themselves shall be bdespised by those that flattered them.
  73.   8 Now, the nature of this ordinance consists in the apower of the priesthood, by the revelation of Jesus Christ, wherein it is granted that whatsoever you bbind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Or, in other words, taking a different view of the translation, whatsoever you record on earth shall be recorded in heaven, and whatsoever you do not record on earth shall not be recorded in heaven; for out of the books shall your dead be judged, according to their own works, whether they themselves have attended to the cordinances in their own propria persona, or by the means of their own agents, according to the ordinance which God has prepared for their salvation from before the foundation of the world, according to the records which they have kept concerning their dead.
