King hearkened

1. Judg. 11: 17, 28
     17 Then Israel ^asent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh.

2. 1 Sam. 15: 1
     1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The Lord sent me to ^aanoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the Lord.
3. 1 Kgs. 12: 15-16
