Of my heart

  1.   5 Said he not unto me, She is my asister? and she, even she herself said, He is my bbrother: in the cintegrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
  2.   19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this acurse, that he bbless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add cdrunkenness to thirst:
  3.   17 I know also, my God, that thou atriest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
  4.   11 My adays are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
  5.   3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
  6.   14 Let the words of my mouth, and the ameditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my bstrength, and my redeemer.
  7.   14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my aheart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
  8.   17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
  9.   8 I am feeble and sore broken: I ahave roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
  10.   3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
  11.   26 My aflesh and my heart bfaileth: but God is the cstrength of my heart, and my dportion for ever.
  12.   111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the arejoicing of my heart.
  13.   16 Thy words were found, and I did aeat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy bname, O Lord God of hosts.
  14.   6 Nevertheless, I did harden my heart, for I was acalled many times and I would not bhear; therefore I knew concerning these things, yet I would not know; therefore I went on rebelling cagainst God, in the wickedness of my heart, even until the fourth day of this seventh month, which is in the tenth year of the reign of the judges.
  15.   27 And now, my brethren, I awish from the inmost part of my heart, yea, with great banxiety even unto pain, that ye would hearken unto my words, and cast off your sins, and not cprocrastinate the day of your repentance;
  16.   20 And the king said: How knowest thou the thoughts of my heart? Thou mayest speak boldly, and tell me concerning these things; and also tell me by what power ye slew and smote off the arms of my brethren that scattered my flocks—
  17.   1 O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the atrump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!
  18.   14 Yea, because I have got upon my tower that I might pour out my soul unto my God, because of the exceeding sorrow of my heart, which is because of your iniquities!
  19.   12 Never did any passage of ascripture come with more power to the heart of man than this did at this time to mine. It seemed to enter with great force into every feeling of my heart. I reflected on it again and again, knowing that if any person needed bwisdom from God, I did; for how to act I did not know, and unless I could get more wisdom than I then had, I would never know; for the teachers of religion of the different sects cunderstood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible.

15 After I had retired to the place where I had previously designed to go, having looked around me, and finding myself alone, I kneeled down and began to offer up the desires of my heart to God. I had scarcely done so, when immediately I was aseized upon by some power which entirely overcame me, and had such an astonishing influence over me as to bind my tongue so that I could not speak. Thick bdarkness gathered around me, and it seemed to me for a time as if I were doomed to sudden destruction.
