Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather sufferyourselvestobe defrauded?

And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God, suffereth temptation, and yieldeth not to the temptation, but sufferethhimselftobe mocked, and scourged, and cast out, and disowned by his people.

For behold, they would take up arms against their brethren; they would not sufferthemselvestobe slain. But behold how many of these have laid down their lives; and we know that they have gone to their God, because of their love and of their hatred to sin.

Suffer not yourselftobe led away by any vain or foolish thing; suffer not the devil to
lead away your heart again after those wicked harlots. Behold, O my
son, how great iniquity ye brought upon the Zoramites; for when they saw
your conduct they would not believe in my words.

And they were doing that which they felt was the duty which they owed to
their God; for the Lord had said unto them, and also unto their
fathers, that: Inasmuch as ye are not guilty of the first offense,
neither the second, ye shall not sufferyourselvestobe slain by the hands of your enemies.

O ye wicked and ye perverse generation; ye hardened and ye stiffnecked people, how long will ye suppose that the Lord will suffer you? Yea, how long will ye sufferyourselvestobe led by foolish and blind guides? Yea, how long will ye choose darkness rather than light?

And ye see that I have commanded that none of you should go away, but
rather have commanded that ye should come unto me, that ye might feel
and see; even so shall ye do unto the world; and whosoever breaketh this
commandment sufferethhimselftobe led into temptation.
