"Dwell in the land"

  1.   16 ¶ And Cain went out from the apresence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of bEden.
  2.   7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the aCanaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.

      12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and aLot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
  3.   2 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
  4.   21 These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.
  5.   1 And Jacob dwelt in the land awherein his father was a bstranger, in the land of Canaan.
  6.   10 And thou shalt dwell in the land of aGoshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children’s children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:

  8.   4 They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to asojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

      6 The land of aEgypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

      27 ¶ And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.
  9.   15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to aslay Moses. But Moses bfled from cthe face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.
  10.   18 ¶ Wherefore ye shall ado my statutes, and keep my bjudgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
  11.   28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are awalled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
      29 The aAmalekites dwell in the land of the bsouth: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
  12.   31 ¶ Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
  13.   32 And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.
  14.   10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the Lord your God giveth you to ainherit, and when he giveth you brest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
  15.   16 (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
  16.   20 That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest aobey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy blife, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
  17.   16 And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have achariots of iron, both they who are of Beth-shean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.
  18.   18 And the Lord drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the Lord; for he is our God.
  19.   3 Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered avain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.
  20.   24 And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.

  22.   3 aTrust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
  23.   21 For the aupright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
  24.   2 The people that walked in adarkness have seen a great blight: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

  28.   9 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.
  29.   4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the acaptains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the Lord, to dwell in the land of Judah.
      5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
  30.   1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at aMigdol, and at bTahpanhes, and at cNoph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

  31.   21 ¶ Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of aEdom, that dwellest in the land of bUz; the ccup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.
  32.   7 The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
  33.   28 And ye shall dwell in the aland that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
  34.   25 And they shall dwell in the aland that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for bever: and my servant David shall be their cprince for ever.

  36.   18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the afire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
  37.   18 For behold, they have arejected the words of the prophets. Wherefore, if my father should dwell in the land after he hath been bcommanded to flee out of the land, behold, he would also perish. Wherefore, it must needs be that he flee out of the land.
  38.   2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
  39.   10 Therefore,
  40.   1 And now, it came to pass that after king Mosiah had had continual peace for the space of three years, he was desirous to know concerning the people who awent up to dwell in the land of bLehi-Nephi, or in the city of Lehi-Nephi; for his people had heard nothing from them from the time they left the land of cZarahemla; therefore, they wearied him with their teasings.

  44.   22 And the king inquired of Ammon if it were his desire to dwell in the land among the Lamanites, or among his people.
  45.   13 And it came to pass that when the Lamanites saw that they could not overpower the Nephites they returned again to their own land; and many of them came over to dwell in the land of aIshmael and the land of Nephi, and did join themselves to the people of God, who were the people of bAnti-Nephi-Lehi.
  46.   36 And behold, these things which we have adesired concerning our brethren, yea, even their restoration to the knowledge of Christ, are according to the prayers of all the saints who have dwelt in the land.

  49.   21 And let all things be done according to the counsel of the order, and united consent or voice of the order, which dwell in the land of Kirtland.
  50.   41 And Cain was ashut out from the bpresence of the Lord, and with his wife and many of his brethren dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
