Poor of the

  1.   8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
  2.   12 But the captain of the guard left of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.
  3.   4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
  4.   4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
  5.   7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
  6.   10 But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
  7.   7 ¶ Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;
  8.   15 Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
      16 But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.
  9.   4 ¶ Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
  10.   7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

      11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.
  11.   9 And he breathed out many threatenings against them. And now the people of Ammon did not fear their words; therefore they did not cast them out, but they did receive all the poor of the Zoramites that came over unto them; and they did nourish them, and did clothe them, and did give unto them lands for their inheritance; and they did administer unto them according to their wants.
