It shall be

  1.   29 ¶ And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for ameat.
  2.   21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for afood for thee, and for them.
  3.   13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
  4.   10 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy aseed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
  5.   11 And ye shall acircumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a btoken of the ccovenant betwixt me and you.
  6.   14 And Abraham called the name of that place aJehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, bIn the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
  7.   14 But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
  8.   31 And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.
  9.   6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
  10.   2 This amonth shall be unto you the bbeginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
  11.   5 ¶ And it shall be when the Lord shall abring thee into the land of the bCanaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he csware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land dflowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
          •  •  •
9 And it shall be for a asign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a bmemorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.
          •  •  •
11 ¶ And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the aCanaanites, as he bsware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
          •  •  •
14 ¶ And it shall be when thy ason basketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord cbrought us out from Egypt, from the house of dbondage:
          •  •  •
16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for afrontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt.
  12.   5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
          •  •  •
26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
  13.   22 And let them ajudge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the bburden with thee.
  14.   30 Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: aseven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
  15.   36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
  16.   6 And thou shalt make fifty ataches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and bit shall be one tabernacle.
  17.   21 In the atabernacle of the bcongregation cwithout the dvail, which is before the testimony, eAaron and his sons shall forder it from evening to morning before the Lord: it shall be a gstatute for ever unto their hgenerations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
  18.   7 It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
8 And the acurious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
          •  •  •
16 Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
          •  •  •
35 And it shall be upon Aaron ato minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
          •  •  •
37 And thou shalt aput it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the bmitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
38 And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may abear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be baccepted before the Lord.
          •  •  •
43 And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they acome in unto the btabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they cbear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a dstatute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
  19.   26 And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration, and wave it for a awave offering before the Lord: and it shall be thy part.
          •  •  •
28 And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a astatute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the Lord.
          •  •  •
34 And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
          •  •  •
37 Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.
  20.   21 So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.
          •  •  •
25 And thou shalt make it an aoil of holy bointment, an ointment compound after the art of the capothecary: it shall be an holy danointing oil.
          •  •  •
32 Upon aman’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.
          •  •  •
36 And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will ameet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
37 And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the Lord.
  21.   14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is aholy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to bdeath: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
  22.   9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the atabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
  23.   4 And he shall put his ahand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be baccepted for him to make catonement for him.
  24.   4 ¶ And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering abaken in the oven, it shall be bunleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
5 ¶ And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
          •  •  •
7 ¶ And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
  25.   17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither afat nor bblood.
  26.   20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an aatonement for them, and it shall be bforgiven them.
          •  •  •
26 And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an aatonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
          •  •  •
31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the Lord; and the priest shall make an aatonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
          •  •  •
35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
  27.   5 And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall aconfess that he hath sinned in that thing:
          •  •  •
10 And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to athe manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
          •  •  •
13 And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as a ameat offering.
          •  •  •
16 And he shall make aamends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the btrespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
          •  •  •
18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
  28.   4 Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is aguilty, that he shall brestore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath cdeceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the dlost thing which he found,
          •  •  •
7 And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.
          •  •  •
12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace aofferings.
          •  •  •
17 It shall not be baken with aleaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.
18 All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the Lord made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.
          •  •  •
21 In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the Lord.
22 And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the Lord; it shall be wholly burnt.
23 For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.
          •  •  •
28 But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be abroken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.
          •  •  •
30 And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to areconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.
  29.   6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten ain the holy place: it is most holy.
          •  •  •
14 aAnd of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the Lord, and it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.
          •  •  •
16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a avoluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:
          •  •  •
18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be aaccepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an babomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall cbear his iniquity.
19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
          •  •  •
25 For whosoever eateth the afat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
  30.   9 Do not drink awine nor bstrong cdrink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
          •  •  •
15 aThe heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the Lord; and it shall be thine, and thy sons’ with thee, bby a statute for ever; as the Lord hath commanded.
  31.   32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
33 And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall abreak it.
          •  •  •
37 And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
38 But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
          •  •  •
41 And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
  32.   52 He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
          •  •  •
58 And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be awashed the second time, and shall be clean.
  33.   9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
          •  •  •
53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.
  34.   23 And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
  35.   31 It shall be a asabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
  36.   14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the ablood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the bblood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
  37.   6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is aabominable; it shall not be accepted.
          •  •  •
23 ¶ And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
  38.   20 But whatsoever hath a ablemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be bacceptable for you.
21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord to accomplish his avow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, bit shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
          •  •  •
23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a afreewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
          •  •  •
27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is abrought forth, then it shall be bseven days under cthe dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be daccepted for an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
          •  •  •
30 On the same day it shall be aeaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the Lord.
  39.   14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
          •  •  •
21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
          •  •  •
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy aconvocation unto you; and ye shall bafflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
          •  •  •
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye acelebrate your sabbath.
          •  •  •
41 And ye shall keep it a afeast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  40.   3 Without the vail of the testimony, ain the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron border it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
          •  •  •
9 And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall aeat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the Lord made by fire by a perpetual statute.
  41.   10 And ye shall ahallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim bliberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his cfamily.
          •  •  •
12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
  42.   15 And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.
          •  •  •
18 But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.
19 And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.
20 And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
          •  •  •
27 And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.
          •  •  •
33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
  43.   10 And every man’s hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
  44.   32 And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the Lord shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
  45.   19 Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the Lord.
          •  •  •
24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the Lord, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the amanner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
25 And the priest shall make an aatonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be bforgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their ignorance:
26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
          •  •  •
28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
          •  •  •
39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
  46.   7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the Lord to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the Lord doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
  47.   10 In the most aholy place shalt thou beat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.
          •  •  •
23 But the aLevites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
          •  •  •
30 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.
  48.   9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a awater of separation: it is a purification for sin.
10 And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.
          •  •  •
21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
22 And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
  49.   23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
  50.   11 And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a astatute of judgment, as the Lord commanded Moses.

  51.   24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
  52.   23 Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of aseparation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.
  53.   5 And the border shall afetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and bthe goings out of it shall be at the sea.
          •  •  •
9 ¶ And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.
          •  •  •
12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the asalt bsea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
  54.   26 I call aheaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over bJordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall cutterly be destroyed.
  55.   10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
          •  •  •
25 And it shall be our arighteousness, if we bobserve to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
  56.   19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and awalk after other bgods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely cperish.
  57.   16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
  58.   16 And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
  59.   18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
19 And it shall be with him, and he shall aread therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
  60.   2 And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people.
          •  •  •
9 And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
          •  •  •
11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be atributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
  61.   3 And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been awrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;
          •  •  •
14 And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not asell her at all for money, thou shalt not bmake merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.

  222.   18 Wherefore, as those who have been destroyed have been destroyed speedily; and the multitude of their aterrible ones shall be as bchaff that passeth away—yea, thus saith the Lord God: It shall be at an instant, suddenly—
  223.   3 And all the anations that bfight against Zion, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision; yea, it shall be unto them, even as unto a hungry man which dreameth, and behold he eateth but he awaketh and his soul is empty; or like unto a thirsty man which dreameth, and behold he drinketh but he awaketh and behold he is faint, and his soul hath appetite; yea, even so shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion.
  224.   7 Yea, and there shall be many which shall say: aEat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die; and it shall be well with us.
  225.   17 There is nothing which is secret save it shall be arevealed; there is no work of darkness save it shall be made manifest in the light; and there is nothing which is sealed upon the earth save it shall be loosed.
  226.   18 And the Lord said unto me: Thy fathers have also required of me this thing; and it shall be done unto them according to their faith; for their faith was like unto thine.
  227.   21 And he doth not dwell in aunholy temples; neither can filthiness or anything which is unclean be received into the kingdom of God; therefore I say unto you the time shall come, yea, and it shall be at the last day, that he who is bfilthy shall remain in his filthiness.
  228.   15 Nevertheless I say unto you, that it shall be more atolerable for them in the day of judgment than for you, if ye remain in your sins, yea, and even more tolerable for them in this life than for you, except ye repent.

18 But behold, I say unto you that if ye persist in your wickedness that your days shall not be aprolonged in the land, for the bLamanites shall be sent upon you; and if ye repent not they shall come in a time when you know not, and ye shall be visited with cutter destruction; and it shall be according to the fierce danger of the Lord.
  229.   20 Now I need not rehearse the matter; what I have said may suffice. Behold, the ascriptures are before you; if ye will bwrest them it shall be to your own destruction.
          •  •  •
26 And it shall be made known unto ajust and holy men, by the mouth of angels, at the time of his coming, that the words of our fathers may be fulfilled, according to that which they have spoken concerning him, which was according to the spirit of prophecy which was in them.
  230.   9 And Ammon said unto her: aBelievest thou this? And she said unto him: I have had no witness save thy word, and the word of our servants; nevertheless I bbelieve that it shall be according as thou hast said.
          •  •  •
23 Now we see that Ammon could not be slain, for the aLord had said unto Mosiah, his father: I will spare him, and it shall be unto him according to thy faith—therefore, Mosiah btrusted him unto the Lord.
  231.   22 Yea, he that arepenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good bworks, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the cmysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be dgiven to ereveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance.
  232.   55 But Alma said unto him: If this curse should be taken from thee thou wouldst again lead away the hearts of this people; therefore, it shall be unto thee even as the Lord will.
  233.   20 Now of this thing ye must judge. Behold, I say unto you, that it is on the one hand even as it is on the other; and it shall be unto every man according to his work.
          •  •  •
41 But if ye will nourish the word, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence, and with apatience, looking forward to the fruit thereof, it shall take root; and behold it shall be a tree bspringing up unto everlasting life.
  234.   10 For it is expedient that there should be a great and last asacrifice; yea, not a bsacrifice of man, neither of beast, neither of any manner of fowl; for it shall not be a human sacrifice; but it must be an cinfinite and deternal esacrifice.
          •  •  •
13 Therefore, it is expedient that there should be a great and last sacrifice, and then shall there be, or it is expedient there should be, a astop to the shedding of bblood; then shall the claw of Moses be fulfilled; yea, it shall be all fulfilled, every jot and tittle, and none shall have passed away.
  235.   27 Therefore, O my son, awhosoever will come may come and partake of the waters of life freely; and whosoever will not come the same is not compelled to come; but in the last day it shall be brestored unto him according to his cdeeds.
  236.   27 And now who knoweth but what the remnant of the seed of Joseph, which shall perish as his garment, are those who have dissented from us? Yea, and even it shall be ourselves if we do not stand fast in the faith of Christ.
  237.   12 And behold, if ye do not this, I will come against you with my armies; yea, even I will arm my women and my children, and I will come against you, and I will follow you even into your own land, which is the land of aour first inheritance; yea, and it shall be blood for blood, yea, life for life; and I will give you battle even until you are destroyed from off the face of the earth.
  238.   23 For behold, thus saith the Lord: I will not show unto the wicked of my strength, to one more than the other, save it be unto those who repent of their sins, and hearken unto my words. 239.   8 And thus, if ye shall say unto this temple it shall be rent in twain, it shall be done.
9 And if ye shall say unto this amountain, Be thou cast down and become smooth, it shall be done.
  240.   18 And behold, if a man ahide up a treasure in the earth, and the Lord shall say—Let it be baccursed, because of the iniquity of him who hath hid it up—behold, it shall be accursed.
          •  •  •
20 And behold, if the Lord shall say unto a man—Because of thine iniquities, thou shalt be accursed aforeverit shall be done.
21 And if the Lord shall say—Because of thine iniquities thou shalt be acut off from my presence—he will cause that it shall be so.
22 And wo unto him to whom he shall say this, for it shall be unto him that will do iniquity, and he cannot be asaved; therefore, for this cause, that men might be saved, hath repentance been declared.
  241.   4 Therefore, there shall be one aday and a night and a day, as if it were one day and there were no night; and this shall be unto you for a sign; for ye shall know of the rising of the sun and also of its setting; therefore they shall know of a surety that there shall be two days and a night; nevertheless the night shall not be darkened; and it shall be the night before he is bborn.
  242.   14 Therefore I say unto you, it shall be abetter for them than for you except ye repent.
  243.   2 aFor with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
          •  •  •
7 aAsk, and it shall be given unto you; bseek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
8 For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
  244.   7 And this shall ye do in aremembrance of my bbody, which I have shown unto you. And it shall be a testimony unto the Father that ye do always remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you.
          •  •  •
20 And awhatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given unto you.
  245.   22 And behold, this apeople will I establish in this land, unto the fulfilling of the bcovenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a cNew Jerusalem. And the dpowers of heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even eI will be in the midst of you.
          •  •  •
46 Verily, verily, I say unto you, all these things shall surely come, even as the Father hath commanded me. Then shall this covenant which the Father hath covenanted with his people be fulfilled; and then shall aJerusalem be inhabited again with my people, and it shall be the land of their inheritance.
  246.   7 And when these things come to pass that thy aseed shall begin to know these things—it shall be a sign unto them, that they may know that the work of the Father hath already commenced unto the fulfilling of the covenant which he hath made unto the people who are of the house of Israel.
          •  •  •
11 Therefore it shall come to pass that whosoever will not believe in my words, who am Jesus Christ, which the Father shall cause ahim to bring forth unto the bGentiles, and shall give unto him power that he shall bring them forth unto the Gentiles, (it shall be done even as Moses said) they shall be ccut off from among my people who are of the covenant.
  247.   9 And when they shall have received this, which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the agreater things be made manifest unto them.
  248.   29 Therefore, aask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
  249.   10 And ye will also know that ye are a aremnant of the seed of Jacob; therefore ye are numbered among the people of the first covenant; and if it so be that ye believe in Christ, and are baptized, first bwith water, then with fire and with the Holy Ghost, following the cexample of our Savior, according to that which he hath commanded us, it shall be well with you in the day of judgment. Amen.
  250.   15 For none can have power to bring it to light save it be given him of God; for God wills that it shall be done with an aeye single to his glory, or the welfare of the ancient and long dispersed covenant people of the Lord.
16 And blessed be ahe that shall bring this thing to light; for it shall be bbrought out of darkness unto light, according to the word of God; yea, it shall be brought out of the earth, and it shall shine forth out of darkness, and come unto the knowledge of the people; and it shall be done by the power of God.

26 And no one need say they shall not come, for they surely shall, for the Lord hath spoken it; for aout of the earth shall they come, by the hand of the Lord, and none can stay it; and it shall come in a day when it shall be said that bmiracles are done away; and it shall come even as if one should speak cfrom the dead.

  251.   21 Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, awhatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this bpromise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth.
  252.   12 Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall be afree from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but bserve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ, who hath been manifested by the things which we have written.
          •  •  •
15 And the brother of Jared repented of the evil which he had done, and did call upon the name of the Lord for his brethren who were with him. And the Lord said unto him: I will forgive thee and thy brethren of their sins; but thou shalt not sin any more, for ye shall remember that my aSpirit will not always bstrive with man; wherefore, if ye will sin until ye are fully ripe ye shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord. And these are my cthoughts upon the land which I shall give you for your inheritance; for it shall be a land dchoice above all other lands.
  253.   14 Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made amanifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.
  254.   1 And now I, Moroni, have written the words which were commanded me, according to my memory; and I have told you the things which I have asealed up; therefore touch them not in order that ye may translate; for that thing is forbidden you, except by and by it shall be wisdom in God.
  255.   8 Wherefore, the remnant of the house of Joseph shall be built upon this aland; and it shall be a land of their inheritance; and they shall build up a holy bcity unto the Lord, like unto the Jerusalem of old; and they shall cno more be confounded, until the end come when the earth shall pass away.
  256.   26 And after that he came men also were asaved by faith in his name; and by faith, they become the bsons of God. And as surely as Christ liveth he spake these words unto our fathers, saying: cWhatsoever thing ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is good, in faith believing that ye shall receive, behold, it shall be done unto you.
          •  •  •
47 But acharity is the pure blove of Christ, and it endureth cforever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
  257.   24 And now I speak unto all the ends of the earth—that if the day cometh that the power and gifts of God shall be done away among you, it shall be abecause of bunbelief.
  258.   7 aAsk, and ye shall receive; bknock, and it shall be opened unto you. Amen.
  259.   9 Behold, verily I say unto you, I have areserved those things which I have entrusted unto you, my servant Joseph, for a wise purpose in me, and it shall be made known unto future generations;
  260.   5 Therefore, if you will aask of me you shall receive; if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.
          •  •  •
8 Verily, verily, I say unto you, even as you adesire of me so it shall be unto you; and if you desire, you shall be the means of doing much bgood in this generation.
  261.   1 And the Lord said unto me: John, my abeloved, what bdesirest thou? For if you shall ask what you will, it shall be granted unto you.
  262.   5 Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will aknock it shall be opened unto you.
          •  •  •
8 Verily, verily, I say unto you, even as you desire of me so it shall be done unto you; and, if you desire, you shall be the means of doing much good in this generation.
  263.   5 Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.
  264.   5 Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will aknock it shall be opened unto you.
  265.   81 It shall be the duty of the several churches, composing the church of Christ, to send one or more of their teachers to attend the several conferences held by the elders of the church,
  266.   6 And it shall be given thee in the very moment what thou shalt aspeak and bwrite, and they shall hear it, or I will send unto them a cursing instead of a blessing.
  267.   7 And thou shalt be aordained under his hand to expound scriptures, and to exhort the church, according as it shall be given thee by my bSpirit.
          •  •  •
11 And it shall be given thee, also, to make a selection of asacred bhymns, as it shall be given thee, which is pleasing unto me, to be had in my church.
12 For my soul adelighteth in the bsong of the cheart; yea, the dsong of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads.
  268.   1 Behold, I say unto you that you shall let your atime be devoted to the bstudying of the scriptures, and to preaching, and to confirming the church at cColesville, and to performing your dlabors on the land, such as is required, until after you shall go to the west to hold the next conference; and then it shall be made eknown what you shall do.
  269.   1 Behold, I say unto thee, aOliver, that it shall be given unto thee that thou shalt be heard by the church in all things whatsoever thou shalt teach them by the bComforter, concerning the revelations and commandments which I have given.
          •  •  •
9 And now, behold, I say unto you that it is not revealed, and no man knoweth where the acity bZion shall be built, but it shall be given hereafter. Behold, I say unto you that it shall be on the borders by the Lamanites.
          •  •  •
15 And it shall be agiven thee from the time thou shalt go, until the time thou shalt return, what thou shalt do.
  270.   11 Go your way whithersoever I will, and it shall be given you by the aComforter what you shall do and whither you shall go.
  271.   8 And it shall be a agreat day at the time of my coming, for all nations shall btremble.
          •  •  •
10 Wherefore, lift up your voice and aspare not, for the Lord God hath spoken; therefore bprophesy, and it shall be given by the cpower of the Holy Ghost.
  272.   19 Wherefore, watch over him that his faith fail not, and it shall be given by the aComforter, the bHoly Ghost, that knoweth all things.
          •  •  •
23 And ainasmuch as ye do not write, behold, it shall be bgiven unto him to prophesy; and thou shalt preach my gospel and call on cthe holy prophets to prove his words, as they shall be given him.
  273.   33 And from thence, whosoever I will shall go forth among aall nations, and it shall be told them what they shall do; for I have a great work laid up in store, for Israel shall be bsaved, and I will clead them whithersoever I will, and no power shall dstay my hand.
  274.   15 And inasmuch as my people shall assemble themselves at the Ohio, I have kept in store a ablessing such as is not known among the children of men, and it shall be poured forth upon their heads. And from thence men shall go forth into ball cnations.
  275.   10 To see to all things as it shall be appointed unto him in my laws in the day that I shall give them.
  276.   5 And I give unto them a commandment that they shall go forth for a little season, and it shall be agiven by the power of the Spirit when they shall return.
          •  •  •
9 Until the time shall come when it shall be revealed unto you from on high, when the acity of the bNew Jerusalem shall be prepared, that ye may be cgathered in one, that ye may be my dpeople and I will be your God.
          •  •  •
11 Again I say unto you, that it shall not be given to any one to go forth to apreach my gospel, or to build up my church, except he be bordained by some one who has cauthority, and it is known to the church that he has authority and has been regularly ordained by the heads of the church.
          •  •  •
33 And again, if there shall be properties in the hands of the church, or any individuals of it, more than is necessary for their support after this first consecration, which is a aresidue to be consecrated unto the bishop, it shall be kept to administer to those who have not, from time to time, that every man who has need may be amply supplied and receive according to his wants.
          •  •  •
      46 And it shall come to pass that those that die in me shall not ataste of bdeath, for it shall be csweet unto them;
          •  •  •
62 Thou shalt ask, and it shall be revealed unto you in mine own due time where the aNew Jerusalem shall be built.
          •  •  •
79 And it shall come to pass, that if any persons among you shall akill they shall be delivered up and dealt with according to the laws of the land; for remember that he hath no forgiveness; and it shall be proved according to the laws of the land.
          •  •  •
89 And if he or she confess not thou shalt deliver him or her up unto the church, not to the members, but to the elders. And it shall be done in a ameeting, and that not before the world.
  277.   10 That inasmuch as ye do this, glory shall be aadded to the kingdom which ye have received. Inasmuch as ye do it not, it shall be btaken, even that which ye have received.
  278.   28 And when the times of the aGentiles is come in, a blight shall break forth among them that sit in darkness, and it shall be the fulness of my cgospel;
          •  •  •
36 And when the alight shall begin to break forth, it shall be with them like unto a parable which I will show you—
          •  •  •
38 Even so it shall be in that day when they shall see all these things, then shall they know that the hour is nigh.
          •  •  •
54 And then shall the aheathen nations be bredeemed, and they that cknew no dlaw shall have part in the efirst fresurrection; and it shall be gtolerable for them.
          •  •  •
      60 And now, behold, I say unto you, it shall not be given unto you to know any further concerning this chapter, until the aNew bTestament be translated, and in it all these things shall be made known;
          •  •  •
      66 And it shall be called the aNew Jerusalem, a bland of cpeace, a city of drefuge, a place of esafety for the saints of the Most High God;
67 And the aglory of the Lord shall be there, and the bterror of the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will not come unto it, and it shall be called Zion.
          •  •  •
69 And there shall be agathered unto it out of every bnation under heaven; and it shall be the only people that shall not be at cwar one with another.
70 And it shall be said among the wicked: Let us not go up to battle against Zion, for the inhabitants of Zion are aterrible; wherefore we cannot stand.
  279.   2 Again, verily I say unto you that he can also alift up his voice in meetings, whenever it shall be expedient.
3 And again, I say unto you that it shall be appointed unto him to keep the church arecord and history continually; for Oliver Cowdery I have appointed to another office.
4 Wherefore, it shall be given him, inasmuch as he is faithful, by the aComforter, to write these things. Even so. Amen.
  280.   1 It is necessary that ye should remain for the present time in your places of abode, as it shall be suitable to your circumstances.
          •  •  •
5 The aplace is not yet to be brevealed; but after your brethren come from the east there are to be certain men appointed, and to them it shall be given to know the place, or to them it shall be revealed.
  281.   26 Behold, I say unto you, go forth as I have commanded you; repent of all your sins; aask and ye shall receive; knock and it shall be opened unto you.
  282.   29 And if ye are apurified and cleansed from all bsin, ye shall cask whatsoever you will in the name of Jesus and it shall be done.
30 But know this, it shall be given you what you shall aask; and as ye are appointed to the bhead, the spirits shall be subject unto you.
          •  •  •
32 And it shall be given unto you, apower over that spirit; and you shall proclaim against that spirit with a loud voice that it is bnot of God—
  283.   4 And inasmuch as they are faithful unto me, it shall be made known unto them what they shall do;
          •  •  •
20 And the days have come; according to men’s faith it shall be adone unto them.
  284.   13 And let my servant aOliver Cowdery assist him, even as I have commanded, in whatsoever place I shall appoint unto him, to copy, and to correct, and select, that all things may be right before me, as it shall be proved by the Spirit through him.
  285.   16 Behold his mission is given unto him, and it shall not be given again.
          •  •  •
44 And now, verily, I say concerning the residue of the elders of my achurch, the time has not yet come, for many years, for them to receive their binheritance in this land, except they desire it through the prayer of faith, only as it shall be appointed unto them of the Lord.
          •  •  •
      50 And I give unto my servant Sidney Rigdon a commandment, that he shall awrite a description of the land of Zion, and a statement of the will of God, as it shall be made known by the Spirit unto him;
          •  •  •
56 And let the work of the agathering be not in bhaste, nor by flight; but let it be done as it shall be ccounseled by the elders of the church at the conferences, according to the knowledge which they receive from time to time.
  286.   3 And it shall come to pass, if they are not more faithful unto me, it shall be ataken away, even that which they have.
          •  •  •
17 And by the mouth of my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., it shall be made known concerning Sidney Rigdon and Oliver Cowdery. The residue hereafter. Even so. Amen.
  287.   16 And it shall be said in days to come that none is able to go up to the land of Zion upon the waters, but he that is upright in heart.
  288.   5 Behold, I, the Lord, utter my voice, and it shall be aobeyed.
  289.   9 Lay your ahands upon the bsick, and they shall crecover. Return not till I, the Lord, shall send you. Be patient in affliction. dAsk, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
  290.   11 And unto you it shall be given to know the signs of the atimes, and the bsigns of the coming of the Son of Man;
  291.   7 Nevertheless, inasmuch as they areceive more than is needful for their necessities and their wants, it shall be given into my bstorehouse;
  292.   2 Verily I say unto you, proclaim unto the world in the regions round about, and in the church also, for the space of a season, even until it shall be amade known unto you.
          •  •  •
6 For unto him that receiveth it shall be given more aabundantly, even power.
  293.   2 And then, behold, it shall be made known unto them, by the avoice of the conference, their several missions.
  294.   22 And it shall be more atolerable for the bheathen in the day of judgment, than for that house; therefore, cgird up your loins and be faithful, and ye shall overcome all things, and be dlifted up at the last day. Even so. Amen.
          •  •  •
27 Let them aask and they shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto them, and be made known from on high, even by the bComforter, whither they shall go.
  295.   15 Therefore, I give unto you this commandment, that ye bind yourselves by this covenant, and it shall be done according to the laws of the Lord.
          •  •  •
21 And the soul that sins against this covenant, and ahardeneth his heart against it, shall be dealt with according to the laws of my church, and shall be delivered over to the bbuffetings of Satan until the day of redemption.
  296.   85 Neither take ye thought beforehand awhat ye shall say; but btreasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be cgiven you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man.
  297.   12 Therefore, it shall be done unto them as unto the achildren of the bpriest, as will be found recorded in the second chapter and sixty-first and second verses of Ezra.
  298.   19 For after it hath filled the measure of its creation, it shall be crowned with aglory, even with the presence of God the Father;
          •  •  •
26 Wherefore, it shall be asanctified; yea, notwithstanding it shall bdie, it shall be cquickened again, and shall abide the power by which it is quickened, and the drighteous shall einherit it.
          •  •  •
63 aDraw bnear unto me and I will draw near unto you; cseek me diligently and ye shall dfind me; ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
      64 Whatsoever ye aask the Father in my name it shall be given unto you, that is bexpedient for you;
          •  •  •
68 Therefore, asanctify yourselves that your bminds become csingle to God, and the days will come that you shall dsee him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will.
  299.   52 And let my servants Joseph Smith, Jun., and Frederick G. Williams make haste also, and it shall be given them even according to the prayer of faith; and inasmuch as you keep my sayings you shall not be confounded in this world, nor in the world to come.
  300.   4 Verily I say unto you, that it shall be built fifty-five by sixty-five feet in the width thereof and in the length thereof, in the inner court.
          •  •  •
6 And it shall be adedicated unto the Lord from the foundation thereof, according to the border of the priesthood, according to the pattern which shall be given unto you hereafter.
7 And it shall be wholly dedicated unto the Lord for the work of the apresidency.
          •  •  •
11 And it shall be fifty-five by sixty-five feet in the width thereof and the length thereof, in the inner court; and there shall be a lower and a higher court.
12 And this house shall be wholly dedicated unto the Lord from the foundation thereof, for the work of the printing, in all things whatsoever I shall command you, to be holy, undefiled, according to the pattern in all things as it shall be given unto you.

  301.   3 And again, let it be divided into lots, according to wisdom, for the benefit of those who seek ainheritances, as it shall be determined in council among you.
  302.   23 The Lord’s ascourge shall pass over by night and by day, and the report thereof shall vex all people; yea, it shall not be stayed until the Lord come;
  303.   24 But if ye bear it not patiently, it shall be accounted unto you as being ameted out as a just measure unto you.
  304.   6 For it shall be agiven you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say.
  305.   27 And in that day awhatsoever any man shall ask, it shall be given unto him.
  306.   8 Voted: that whenever any vacancy shall occur by the death, removal from office for transgression, or removal from the bounds of this church government, of any one of the above-named councilors, it shall be filled by the nomination of the apresident or presidents, and sanctioned by the voice of a general council of high priests, convened for that purpose, to act in the name of the church.
          •  •  •
12 Whenever a high council of the church of Christ is regularly organized, according to the foregoing pattern, it shall be the duty of the twelve councilors to cast lots by numbers, and thereby ascertain who of the twelve shall speak first, commencing with number one and so in succession to number twelve.
          •  •  •
26 It shall be the duty of said council to atransmit, immediately, a copy of their proceedings, with a full statement of the testimony accompanying their decision, to the high council of the seat of the First Presidency of the Church.
  307.   36 And it is my will that he should sell the lots that are laid off for the building up of the acity of my saints, inasmuch as it shall be made known to him by the bvoice of the Spirit, and according to the counsel of the order, and by the voice of the order.
          •  •  •
64 And the aavails of the sacred things shall be had in the treasury, and a seal shall be upon it; and it shall not be used or taken out of the treasury by any one, neither shall the seal be loosed which shall be placed upon it, only by the voice of the order, or by commandment.
          •  •  •
70 And let not any among you say that it is his own; for it shall not be called his, nor any part of it.
          •  •  •
81 Therefore write speedily to New York and write according to that which shall be dictated by my aSpirit; and I will soften the hearts of those to whom you are in debt, that it shall be taken away out of their minds to bring affliction upon you.
  308.   36 And it shall be amanifest unto my servant, by the voice of the Spirit, those that are bchosen; and they shall be csanctified;
  309.   72 And also to be a ajudge in Israel, to do the business of the church, to sit in bjudgment upon transgressors upon testimony as it shall be laid before him according to the laws, by the assistance of his ccounselors, whom he has chosen or will choose among the elders of the church.
          •  •  •
78 Again, verily, I say unto you, the most important business of the church, and the most adifficult cases of the church, inasmuch as there is not satisfaction upon the decision of the bishop or judges, it shall be handed over and carried up unto the council of the church, before the bPresidency of the High Priesthood.
          •  •  •
80 And after this decision it shall be had in remembrance no more before the Lord; for this is the highest council of the church of God, and a final decision upon controversies in spiritual matters.
  310.   6 And it shall be fulfilled upon you in that day that you shall have right to apreach my gospel wheresoever I shall send you, from henceforth from that time.
  311.   3 Therefore, it is expedient that you should form aacquaintance with men in this city, as you shall be led, and as it shall be given you.
  312.   3 And also unto my faithful servants who are of the high council of my achurch in Zion, for thus it shall be called, and unto all the elders and people of my Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, scattered abroad in all the world;
          •  •  •
6 And that the agathering together upon the land of bZion, and upon her cstakes, may be for a defense, and for a drefuge from the storm, and from wrath when it shall be epoured out without mixture upon the whole earth.
7 Let the city, Far West, be a holy and consecrated land unto me; and it shall be called most holy, for the ground upon which thou standest is aholy.
          •  •  •
12 Thus let them from that time forth labor diligently until it shall be finished, from the corner stone thereof unto the top thereof, until there shall not anything remain that is not finished.
  313.   3 Therefore, if they atarry it shall not be well with them.
  314.   6 And I say unto you, if my people observe not this law, to keep it holy, and by this law sanctify the land of Zion unto me, that my statutes and my judgments may be kept thereon, that it may be most holy, behold, verily I say unto you, it shall not be a land of aZion unto you.
  315.   1 Verily, thus saith the Lord, the time is now come, that ait shall be bdisposed of by a council, composed of the First Presidency of my Church, and of the bishop and his council, and by my high council; and by mine own voice unto them, saith the Lord. Even so. Amen.
  316.   5 For it shall be agiven you by the Holy Ghost to know my bwill concerning those ckings and authorities, even what shall befall them in a time to come.
          •  •  •
23 And it shall be for a house for boarding, a house that strangers may come from afar to lodge therein; therefore let it be a good house, worthy of all acceptation, that the weary atraveler may find health and safety while he shall contemplate the word of the Lord; and the bcorner-stone I have appointed for Zion.
24 This house shall be a healthful habitation if it be built unto my name, and if the governor which shall be appointed unto it shall not suffer any pollution to come upon it. It shall be holy, or the Lord your God will not adwell therein.
          •  •  •
42 And aI will show unto my servant Joseph all things pertaining to this house, and the priesthood thereof, and the place whereon it shall be built.
          •  •  •
44 If ye labor with all your might, I will consecrate that spot that it shall be made aholy.
          •  •  •
69 And if any pay stock into their hands it shall be for stock in that house, for himself, and for his generation after him, from generation to generation, so long as he and his heirs shall hold that stock, and do not sell or convey the stock away out of their hands by their own free will and act, if you will do my will, saith the Lord your God.
          •  •  •
110 Verily I say unto you, even now, if he will hearken unto my voice, it shall be well with him. Even so. Amen.
          •  •  •
118 And hearken unto the counsel of my servants Joseph, and Hyrum, and William Law, and unto the authorities which I have called to lay the foundation of Zion; and it shall be well with him forever and ever. Even so. Amen.
  317.   19 And again, verily I say unto you, if a man amarry a wife by my word, which is my law, and by the new and beverlasting covenant, and it is csealed unto them by the Holy Spirit of dpromise, by him who is anointed, unto whom I have appointed this power and the ekeys of this priesthood; and it shall be said unto them—Ye shall come forth in the first resurrection; and if it be after the first resurrection, in the next resurrection; and shall inherit fthrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights and depths—then shall it be written in the Lamb’s gBook of Life, that he shall commit no hmurder whereby to shed innocent iblood, and if ye abide in my covenant, and commit no murder whereby to shed innocent blood, it shall be done unto them in all things whatsoever my servant hath put upon them, in time, and through all eternity; and shall be of full force when they are out of the world; and they shall pass by the angels, and the gods, which are set there, to their jexaltation and glory in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall be a fulness and a continuation of the kseeds forever and ever.
          •  •  •
40 I am the Lord thy God, and I gave unto thee, my servant Joseph, an aappointment, and restore all things. Ask what ye will, and it shall be given unto you according to my word.
          •  •  •
46 And verily, verily, I say unto you, that whatsoever you aseal on earth shall be sealed in heaven; and whatsoever you bbind on earth, in my name and by my word, saith the Lord, it shall be eternally bound in the heavens; and whosesoever sins you cremit on earth shall be remitted eternally in the heavens; and whosesoever sins you retain on earth shall be retained in heaven.
          •  •  •
48 And again, verily I say unto you, my servant Joseph, that whatsoever you give on earth, and to whomsoever you agive any one on earth, by my word and according to my law, it shall be visited with blessings and not cursings, and with my power, saith the Lord, and shall be without condemnation on earth and in heaven.

65 Therefore, it shall be lawful in me, if she receive not this law, for him to receive all things whatsoever I, the Lord his God, will give unto him, because she did not believe and administer unto him according to my word; and she then becomes the transgressor; and he is exempt from the law of Sarah, who administered unto Abraham according to the law when I commanded Abraham to take aHagar to wife.
  318.   22 And it shall be a voice as the avoice of many waters, and as the voice of a great bthunder, which shall cbreak down the mountains, and the valleys shall not be found.
      23 He shall command the great deep, and it shall be driven back into the north countries, and the aislands shall become one land;

41 And it shall be answered upon their heads; for the presence of the Lord shall be aas the melting fire that burneth, and as the fire which causeth the waters to boil.

46 And it shall be said: aWho is this that cometh down from God in heaven with dyed bgarments; yea, from the regions which are not known, clothed in his glorious apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength?
  319.   4 When Joseph went to Carthage to deliver himself up to the pretended requirements of the law, two or three days previous to his assassination, he said: “I am going like a alamb to the slaughter; but I am calm as a summer’s morning; I have a bconscience cvoid of offense towards God, and towards all men. I SHALL DIE INNOCENT, AND IT SHALL YET BE SAID OF ME—HE WAS MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD.”—The same morning, after Hyrum had made ready to go—shall it be said to the slaughter? yes, for so it was—he read the following paragraph, near the close of the twelfth chapter of Ether, in the Book of Mormon, and turned down the leaf upon it:
  320.   29 And I, God, said unto man: Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in the which shall be the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for ameat.
  321.   23 And unto Adam, I, the Lord God, said: Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the fruit of the tree of which I commanded thee, saying—Thou shalt not eat of it, acursed shall be the ground for thy sake; in bsorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.
  322.   23 If thou doest well, thou shalt be aaccepted. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, and Satan bdesireth to have thee; and except thou shalt hearken unto my commandments, I will cdeliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire. And thou shalt drule over him;

25 And it shall be said in time to come—That these abominations were had from aCain; for he rejected the greater counsel which was had from God; and this is a bcursing which I will put upon thee, except thou repent.
  323.   30 And this is a decree, which I have sent forth in the beginning of the world, from my own mouth, from the foundation thereof, and by the mouths of my servants, thy fathers, have I decreed it, even as it shall be sent forth in the world, unto the ends thereof.

32 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Go forth and do as I have commanded thee, and no man shall pierce thee. Open thy amouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good.

52 And he also said unto him: If thou wilt turn unto me, and hearken unto my voice, and believe, and repent of all thy transgressions, and be abaptized, even in water, in the name of mine Only Begotten Son, who is full of bgrace and truth, which is Jesus cChrist, the only dname which shall be given under heaven, whereby esalvation shall come unto the children of men, ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, asking all things in his name, and whatsoever ye shall ask, it shall be given you.
  324.   46 And the Lord said: It shall be in the ameridian of time, in the days of wickedness and vengeance.

62 And arighteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will I send forth out of the earth, to bear btestimony of mine Only Begotten; his cresurrection from the dead; yea, and also the resurrection of all men; and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to dgather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which I shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called eZion, a New fJerusalem.

64 And there shall be mine abode, and it shall be Zion, which shall come forth out of all the creations which I have made; and for the space of a athousand years the bearth shall crest.
  325.   29 And the Gods said: Behold, we will give them every herb bearing seed that shall come upon the face of all the earth, and every tree which shall have fruit upon it; yea, the fruit of the tree yielding seed to them we will give it; it shall be for their ameat.
  326.   41 But as it was in the days of aNoah, so it shall be also at the coming of the Son of Man;
      42 For it shall be with them, as it was in the days which were before the aflood; for until the day that Noah entered into the ark they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage;
  327.   11 While I was laboring under the extreme difficulties caused by the contests of these parties of religionists, I was one day reading the Epistle of aJames, first chapter and fifth verse, which reads: If any of you lack bwisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
